ON THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL of her junior year, October expected to be celebrating, not running away from a full-blown zombie breakout. As dozens of news programs worldwide spread the word of this terrifying apocalypse, Toby's trying to find a place to hide and grieving over their best friend, who was killed by a zombie-like creature.

Scared and alone, but definitely not going down without a fight, Toby's found a place to hide—a junkyard. She hopes no one will find her here, but of course, someone does. Five other teenagers, also looking for a place to stay.

Shenanigans, arguments, and the effects of survival follow the teens as they learn to live together during an apocalypse.

After all, a zombie apocalypse is truly FIGHT OR FLIGHT.
