Its all in the name

KIRI IS THE BEST BOY!!!

You and Kaminari were talking about going to see a movie with Hatsume when someone tapped your shoulder. Your eyes took in the boy in front of you. He was packing some muscle and even taller than Kaminari. His hair was fire engine red and spiked up, the slight breeze not even moving a single hair out of its horned shape. His eyes were also red but had a happy shine to them, he looked like he enjoyed every bit of life. What stuck out the most was how his shiny teeth were razor sharp and pulled into a massive, unbearably happy grin.

"Hi Tenshi-san I'm Eijiro Kirishima! So...Did you get last place because you didn't want anybody else to be expelled?"

"It's [Name] not Tenshi." You spoke, your eyes narrowing slightly at the use of your last name. It was weird and you hated being identified by your family name. "I knew I wasn't going to be expelled so I decided to get last." A few of the people around you listened to your answer intently, they were wondering the same thing. Most of them didn't pay attention to your wording and just took it a face value but some of the more intelligent students noticed the specific phrasing you used and had even more questions.

She knew she wasn't going to be expelled not that we weren't going to be expelled...

"Wow, you were protecting everyone else from the fear of expulsion!" He placed his hand over his heart and his smile brightened the area around you almost tenfold. "THATS SO MANLY!" He cried out completely in awe of your so called 'manliness.'

"It was pretty obvious Tenshi-san wasn't going to be expelled, she did place first in the exams for us recommended students." A tall and curvy girl spoke in a knowing tone as she gave everyone a small smile.
"Woah really?" That caught the aloof Todoroki's attention. He took a look at you, eyes wandering over your from before a slight scowl marred his features. He didn't remember seeing you at all during the exams but from how annoyed his father was, you were the person who had beaten him and yet you were the one to place last today.

Midoriya was listening in on your conversation as Iida and Uraraka chatted with him while he waited to be dismissed to fix his finger. His hands were fidgeting and he was staring at you with the slightest blush on his face. His mind was spinning, first Uraraka saved him from tripping and then you saved him from failing. He admired how at first glance your eyes seemed disinterested but upon closer inspection he saw how your glittering hues surveyed over anything and everything with a glint of curiosity.

He strayed to staring at your bright hair, the shiny yet unruly curls that hung loose and how you would move your bangs slightly, keeping them from obscuring your vision. He wondered if that was something that would hinder you if you didn't pull them back. The healthy feathers in your wings caught the light as you kept close to Kaminari He could see you were comfortable and familiar with Kaminari, he was the one you'd look to when seeming confused. His mind was in analysis mode seeing everything about you and finding your strength and possible weaknesses just at a glance. He did it with everyone, his book was full of quirks and people and how to take them down or why they are so strong.

Something about you was odd though, Midoriya noticed it when he first heard you talking and how you seemed so confused on certain normal human interaction, your last name also stood out. It was a unique last name and with you not being native it spurred his mind.

He recognized the name from somewhere and he needed to know where it was from, but that was put on the back burner as he focused back on his finger, reminding him how he was at his dream school feeling less nervous than he thought thanks to you not letting him freak out the entire testing period. It was only when Uraraka said something to him that his face errupted into a bright blush, he hadn't realized he was staring and muttering to himself until the cute brunette said something to him.

Waah a girl, a real girl saved me from getting last place. What should I do, I need to thank her or something!

The greenette took a step towards you muttering to himself but before he could move any further, Aizawa was in front of him holding out a pass.

"Tomorrow's trials aren't going to be any easier, go to recovery girl and have her fix you up." Midoriya bowed and squeaked out a 'thank you'. Aizawa turned to the rest of you, his eyes narrowing on the small distance between Kaminari and you before clearing his throat and slumping his shoulders. "Anyway we're done here, change your clothes and head back to the classroom and check out your curriculum for the year then leave."

"YES SIR!" You all rushed back to the classroom.

"So [Name]-chan." Kirishima and Ashido slid on either side of you and threw their arms over your shoulder, matching friendly grins on their faces. Your eyes looked to Kaminari in confusion but he just shrugged and smiled at his two new friends. "We've been dying to know! What happened to your arm?" They asked in perfect synchronicity.

"It's gotta be something super manly right?"

"Or you were kicking ass and saved a ton of people!" Kaminari knew you weren't particularly fond of reminiscing about your parents so as the doting best friend he was, he got ready to step in when your detached voice responded, shocking all the listeners into silence and those not listening to start.

"My parents cut it off as punishment." They both blinked in utter shock before you were crushed into a hug from both sides. Their loud fuss brought more attention than necessary from the nosy students, not that you had room to complain.

"Thats terrible how could your parents do something so horrible! [Name]-chan do you need a place to live, have you called the police?" Mina asked in concern, she was going to take you in if you were living with abusive parents, what kind of hero would she be if she didn't help you. Instead of fear or sadness in your eyes, you just looked perplexed by their reactions. This was a new one, they seemed genuinely scared and concerned for your well being, was this what being a hero really entailed.

"Eh, Why would I call the police?" Were you really that delusional, did you see nothing wrong with the situation? Kirishima and everyone else was wondering along the same lines. Kaminari noticed the confusion spread between everyone, he may be a dumbass but he could read social cue's pretty well (unless it involves a pretty girl then he's mush) so he stepped in finally, feeling like a big bad hero saving his damsel in distress. You sent a smile his way and he returned it with fervor.

"Guys you've got it all wrong, Angel-face's parents are dead, that's why she lives in Japan now." Aizawa walked into the room and sighed deeply at the amount of students all crowded together. Why couldn't you be a simple kid and just hang out in the back of the classroom, alone, it would make his job easier. Listening in, he knew it was coming and as much as he was hoping to keep your past hidden longer, these students were sometimes too smart for their own good.

"Hello [Name]-chan, I'm Tsuyu Asui please call me Tsu. Pardon me asking for ask but I tend to say whatever I am thinking. Based on what I've learned about you so far, are you related to the infamous Tenshi family?" Asui's analysis and question led a few students to gasp waiting with bated breath for your response.

"Yeah." You shrugged like it wasn't a big deal but your eyes were wandering over everyone watching for peoples reactions. Mina and Kirishima released you and like a few others, they took an unconscious step backwards out of fear; their minds finally piecing together why your last name seemed so familiar. It's not as though there are really any Tenshi families left in Japan, it was once a clan but like majority of other clans of ancient japan the name was few and far between plus when your family was revealed to the world as the mysterious assassins it was all that people talked about. It was terrifying to know one family was so deadly and the underlying fear was there.

Your attention stopped when you saw Bakugou, his reaction was interesting. His face was once more morphed into an angry scowl as he grit his teeth, the muscles in his jawline tensing with the movement. There wasn't an ounce of fear or disgust or hesitance on his face, he looked annoyed as his red eyes were staring daggers towards you. His unchanging reaction towards you furthered your belief that he was like you, a killer on the reform, thats why he was yelling about killing people earlier.

He must be even newer to the hero track than you are. When his ruby orbs met with your striking purple ones, you were going to send him a smile but he instead stuck up his middle finger and glowered at you. to him you were just someone who was ahead in the game, someone who was strong enough to need to be watched by heroes and that made him want to crush you. You weren't a little shit like Deku who always looked down on him but you were another extra who he wasn't going to let make a fool of him again. He was going to destroy you, you were just some borderline villain that he was going to beat and show his dominance.

Aizawa saw the slight fear and uncertainty flicker across his students faces and the way your wings tensed, you knew they were afraid of you now and it annoyed you as much as it hurt you. The sleepy professor pinched the bridge of his nose and stood at the front of the classroom.

"Listen up." All attention was back on him he sighed and straightened his posture slightly, his face blank yet commanding everyone to listen. "I was hoping to not have to reveal this until later but it seems now is best. As [Name] has just revealed she is the last living member of the Tenshi family. As of now, she is living under tight watch by myself and other Pro-heroes as we work on her reformation from growing up as a merciless assassin.

Given her past your hesitation is understandable and if you or your parents please you can request a transfer or drop out of this class but I can promise she is of no threat to you." There were sighs of relief and you felt Kaminari's arm drape lightly around your waist as he plastered a bright smile on his face. You leaned into his touch, his warm body providing you with comfort.

"Yeah [Name]-chan is harmless...mostly."

"So she's a sexy badass, my forbidden fruit, I like it." The small boy with purple balls atop his head licked his lips as his eyes lecherously wandered over your body, focusing on your chest in particular. Aizawa shot him a scary glare and the boy gulped, reluctantly turning his eyes away from you in fear of what his sensei would do.

"Everyone is dismissed, go home." You sling your bag over your shoulder and walked up to Aizawa, immediately noticing his overly exhausted state but he didn't seem annoyed. You decided he was more excited about his class than he'd ever let on.

"Sho can I take the train home with Nari? We were going to go to Mei's house and have dinner together."

"Sure whatever, text Kayama when you need a ride home I'll be gone again." You nodded and wrapped your arms around his midsection, a habit you had formed much to his dismay, his warmth and comforting arms always gave you a sense of assurance and grounding that nothing else could. Aizawa let you have your moment then put his hand on your head and forcefully pulled you off and spun you around, giving you a slight shove towards the door. "Behave Ao."

"Not like I can do anything else?" Your lips quirked into an amused smirk as Aizawa rolled his eyes at you, shooing you out the door once again.

You walked out the school where Kaminari was leaning against a brick wall chatting with Hatsume while waiting for you. Before you could make your way over, a sturdy redhead was in front of you, his head bowed slightly.

"[Name]-chan I'm so sorry!" You sighed slightly, there was no getting rid of the -chan on your name and you'd finally given up. At least they were calling you by your first name now. Your orchid eyes were looking over Kirishima's sorrowful face and you noticed how he had a small scar over his eyebrow and the way the sun shining into his red eyes made them seem unbelievable bright, there was nothing but compassion riddled in them, no fear or hate whatsoever.

"Uhh for what exactly?" You shifted your weight onto your heels and continued looking up at Kirishima, knowing you couldn't just walk away anymore, it's rude and when you did it the first time Hatsume laughed so hard she finally had to give in and explain why it was rude.

"When I found out who you were I acted cowardly and backed away because I thought you were a bad person but I was wrong! You're more heroic than all of us, you were set on the villainous path and yet you're going against all odds and becoming a hero and I couldn't see that. To make up for being so cowardly, I'm gonna earn your forgiveness and become your friend!" He gave you a large thumbs up and his sad face morphed into that of a sharp-toothed grin that fit better with his bright personality.

"Well, I wasn't sad in the first place I really couldn't care less since it's a normal thing but uh thanks." You intertwined your fingers and dragged him over to Kaminari and Hatsume like they did to you when you first met. Kirishima just followed behind you waiting to see what was happening. You released Kirishima's large hand and Hatsume was already holding onto your shoulders, her face almost pressing into yours as her yellow eyes stared into yours.

"How was your first day? Mine was awesome I got to make so many babies! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!" She moved to look at Kirishima who smiled sheepishly and waved towards the pink haired wild child. "So Hybrid whose the red-headed cutie you brought over, he looks like he could withstand all of my experiments!" His cheeks took on a light pink at the overly blunt girl who was feeling his arms up, her mind running rampant on the projects she could build to fit his frame.

"Hey gear-head you're being creepy again."

"Oops! Hi I'm Mei Hatsume support student extraordinaire!" Hatsume claimed boldly, her confidence was enough to make anyone believe she wasn't lying, which in all truth she wasn't.

"Hi I'm Eijiro Kirishima!" He smiled widely at the pinkette already feeling welcomed into the odd friendship.

"So Angel-face why'd you bring Kirishima-san over here?" Everyone turned to look at you, all wondering the same thing. You never brought people around and Kaminari was slightly wary because he didn't want somebody to hurt you especially after Kirishima backed away from you earlier. You knew he felt some sort of need to protect you but you felt no ill will from Kirishima so he was brought to hang out with you.

"He said he wanted to be friends so I brought him to come eat with us." You stared at Kaminari like he was slightly stupid for even questioning what you did. The hardening boy said he wanted to be your friend and he didn't annoy you so you brought him to be friends, to you it made complete sense.

"Ahh [Name]-chan you can't just drag people to hang out with you, that like kidnapping!" He stated exhasperatedly while trying to keep down his laughter, you looked so adorably confused it made him laugh.

"Oh...That's what Mei does to me so I thought..." You trailed off as your eyes shifted from Kaminari's golden ones to Kirishima's red ones. He seemed amused and perplexed, not the face of someone who had been kidnapped. Kirishima was excited that you wanted to hang out with him, in middle school it was hard for him to be so confident so to have you already have forgiven him made his heart swell with pride.

"I've told you before that she's not the best example of a normal person." He shot her a smirk and Hatsume just rolled her eyes.

"And you are?" Kaminari gasped dramatically and gripped at were his heart is, his mouth spreading into a slightly uneven smile that you returned with a small one of your own.

"You're so beautiful yet your words are so ugly, you wound me my love." Kirishima looked between the two of you and could see that Kaminari was slightly infatuated with you but you seemed to not notice it at all. The way you spoke interested the red-head, he noticed how when you asked questions about things it was always what and why people were doing something and how you seemed ignorant to the ways of the world like everything you knew was out of a book and not through experiencing life.

During your fun dinner he finally had the gall to ask and learned much of your past as well as explanations from both Hatsume and Kaminari on your actions and lack of knowledge in the world. He felt bad for your hardships and had nothing but respect for your hardships and, as mean as he thought it was, keeping you innocent in things seemed like a fun idea.

When Midoriya went home he knew he couldn't tell his mom about going to school with you, she was already worried about him becoming a hero and her heart wouldn't be able to take the stress of worrying if one of his classmates was going to murder him as well. His mind was spiraling, at first he was mostly worried about controlling his quirk and staying away from Kacchan but when he learned who you were he couldn't stop the trembling of his body in fear, the same fear that affected some of his classmates.

Midoriya wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt and look at you like nothing more than a  girl that he is in school with but he couldn't help but picture you hurting other people. The green haired boy felt bad, he was judged for being quirkless all of his life and people always wrote him off at first glance and now he's doing the same to you. It isn't like he didn't notice you asking odd questions and not knowing what to do, you also took last so he wouldn't but the thought of you killing other people intimidated him.
