Battle Trials
A/N: This is the drawing I did of your hero costume, you can change what you want but this is how I imagined it to look at least for now. I hope you like it!
The second day of school was finally the normal schedule and going into it everyone was expecting some wild Hero courses all day and every day so people were very disappointed when they found out the first half of every day was the same as all other schools, UA didn't need stupid heroes. After homeroom, you walked into English and found your desk facing the teacher's desk, Bakugou behind you once again. You were going to sit down when a familiar loud voice echoed through the room and Hizashi was grinning down at you.
"Oh my little cyborg has finally come to be my full-time student, I'm such a proud Uncle!" He wrapped his arms around you and spun your body around like you weighed nothing. "Shouta-chan told me about yesterday, if you keep it up you'll create your own name as the new generation a prank master at UA! I didn't think you had it in you!" He gushed and as a reward for the hilarity of what you did, he handed you a puff pastry that is meant to be eaten with tea.
You instantly recognized it as the special ones in Principal Nezu's office which made the snack seem all the more sweet. The interaction between Present Mic and you had stunned the rest of the class into silence you two were so familiar and he even went as far as to call you family. The lidded and defensive state you seemed to be in naturally with the class had dissipated with him and some of the fear that students were holding onto began to fade, if a Pro-hero seemed to love you so much then you really couldn't be all that bad.
The way your eyes lit up at the dessert and the shared smirk between the two of you did not go unnoticed, it took some of that vision of your murderous self and made you seem more human.
English for the most part was a breeze and throughout class you talked in the language, dumping some other students a few times when you used phrases they'd never learned before. You noticed how Bakugou smirked when you dropped a few bad words (much to Present Mic's chagrin) in the language and figured since he used foul language so often in Japanese it was no surprise he knew it in English as well. Since English was your first language it was definitely the one of the less difficult classes for you technical wise; however, school in general wasn't your strong suit.
There were too many unknown factors that made school unnecessarily difficult like when you were first learning basic math you could never figure out why Johnny would have 30 cookies or how he'd let someone take them away. It wasn't necessarily the technical areas in school that stumped you, it was the non literal aspects that made learning more difficult. Sometimes you'd wonder about life if your parent's hadn't stunned your learning by inhibiting your emotional growth and real world understanding. Granted, being friends with Kaminari made you feel a little bit less stupid sometimes, what he lacked in logic you and Hatsume made up for and what you lacked and Hatsume lacked in social cues he made up for, it was as well balanced as it could get.
For your second period you had Ectoplasm as your Mathematics professor, the dude was a no joke sensei and would make clones of himself to hush up some of the more talkative kids while he himself continued on with the lessons. You let out a small giggle when Kaminari had his mouth held shut for a few minutes after mumbling relentlessly about how dumb math was while he kinda-sorta flirted with Uraraka hoping to get your attention because of it and failing miserably.
Because Bakugou sat behind you, you were able to hear him every time he mumbled something along the lines of "this is fucking child's play damn idiots" after he answered a question right. You learned quickly that he wasn't just a pretty face or had a strong quirk, he was smart as well and you could hear him mumble every answer correctly even though he never spoke out to prove he was right (except the one time Midoriya got it wrong then he was quick to get it right and rub it in the green haired boy's blushing face).
After that you had Modern Literature with Cementoss who threw you for a loop when his actual body looked like a giant cement brick. You'd seen a lot of mutation quirks before, hell you had one too but his was on an entirely different level.
Your final normal class before lunch and the start of the hero course was Modern Art History and as soon as you walked in the door and saw the long black hair you stealthily slid your hand up your skirt and gripped the blade pressed against your upper thigh. Kaminari saw your reaction and took a glimpse of his teacher and burst out laughing waiting for the show to start. You gripped the lavender hilt of the blade between your fingers and with a swift flick of your wrist, the knife went soaring through the air heading straight towards Kayama.
She moved just at the last minute, the knife slicing right at her bicep before impaling itself into the wall behind her. There were gasps and students looked ready to attack you if need be but Kayama told them to stand down as her lips turned into a sultry smile stalking towards you. Iida had yelled out something about "Ruining school property being disrespectful to the students that came before you" while waving his hands around, stiff as a board. You smiled back impressed with her new costume, they had finally made her one that was truly knife resistant, since the first time you had thrown a knife at her to test her suit, it has become a tradition to try and rip through her costume to see if it is really blade resistant.
Her suit now had special blades in the fingertips that allowed Midnight to cut through her cloth easily but for weapons being thrown it was officially hard to break through the fabric providing her a greater protection. Kayama pulled you into a hug, her sweet smell being contained by the costume just barely invaded your senses.
"Hey little monster you were kinda slow on your attack today." She gripped the knife and pulled it out of the wall, handing it back to you so you could slip it back into its thigh holster.
"No I wasn't .You just moved quicker than usual."
"I was just so excited at the thought of something so dangerous flying towards me my body was just so ready." Her way of purring out her words making them sound less innocent than they were had student's faces blushing profusely at her insinuations. You removed yourself from her grasp and walked over to Kirishima who was smiling as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
"Ah man [Name]-chan you had me worried for a sec there, throwing knives like that is so hardcore! I really thought you were trying to take out Midnight-sensei."
Midnight noticed Kaminari's laughing form and wrapped an arm around him as well making him receive jealous looks. "Ahh Denki-kun have you confessed yet? You know I'm rooting for you so you better hurry up. [Name]-chan is surrounded by attractive boys now and she might start liking one of them. I mean look at that redheaded cutie." A perfectly manicured black nail pointed towards you listening to Kirishima guess what you were going to do for the hero classes today and the electric boy frowned slightly before smiling. He was more happy that you were making a friend than jealous and Kirishima seemed like a good bro, not one to purposely steal another mans girlfriend. His shoulders shrugged and he was wearing a lopsided smirk.
"Angel-face is too dense to notice if someone was flirting with her anyway." The golden eyed wannabe hero went to sit at his desk when Mineta stopped him.
"Ah Kaminari-kun how do you have two sexy babes on your arm, teach me your ways." Kaminari's eyes flickered to your form glinting in amusement as he turned back to his new friend, a cocky and slightly dazed grin adorning his features.
"Thats for me to know and you to watch and learn."
———————————————————————————————————————
"I AM HERE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE NORMAL!" The large form of All Might jumped through the doorway eliciting excited chatter from all the students in awe of the No. 1 hero being their teacher for heroics. You were staring intently at All Might, you'd never seen him in person but his face was everywhere. His smile was plastered onto his face and you could see the proudness he held behind it but it was also kind of creepy. Who smiles that huge all the time? You didn't know what normal was in any sense but All Might seemed to be the anthesis of normal.
You liked him and you liked him even more when he announced that you were doing battle training. This was what you were good at, battle training was fun and it helped you to get better. You wanted to figure out what kind of hero to become this was one of the best ways to do it, not only would you get to fight you'd get to watch how other people fight and learn what pushes them to be a hero.
You weren't the only excited one, excited murmurs passed through the class, Bakugou especially looked ready to fight. He had a wide-crazed smile on his ruggedly handsome features and you looked behind him where Izuku was practically shrinking back into his chair. This really was going to be fun.
"For proper Battle Training you'll need THESE!" The wall of the classroom sunk into the ground and there was a total of 20 lockers, each assigned to a student. You gasped alongside everyone else, the behind the high tech glass was obviously costumes, not just any costumes it was the hero costume you'd worked so hard in designing. You grasped the costume in your hands, holding onto it carefully, yet again you had found someone precious to you and this is a product of that friendship, a special symbol that shows that the new people in your life won't be taken away, you'll be there to save them.
This costume was emblematic of your growing understanding on why you will become a hero for your reasons not those forced upon you just like your missing arm is your reminder of what you were and what you'd lost in hoped you'd never go back to that ignorant, deprived girl. As much as you still had to learn, you knew you didn't want to go through life loveless and alone any longer.
You read the directions that came with the costume, telling you about each piece and how to put it on. When everything was in order, you pulled your hair up into pigtails and slipped the mask on, pressing the button to have the lenses raise up so you could see yourself in the mirror. When you looked at yourself you were in awe, you looked like a badass hero and every piece was amazing. You had on a black cowl that was spiky and covered half of your face. It had lenses that were able to help your distance vision when flying. Around your neck was a leather choker with a red diamond to protect you from getting your throat slit and it matched the one you remembered Kyomi wearing. You brushed over the necklace in remembrance and finished looking at the rest of you.
You had a tight black top made of a feather light and durable type of leather latex material. It went down to just below your elbows so your metal arm and the scar around the area was on full display (Hatsume would kill you if it was covered) also the back was cut out so your wings could be free and on full display. Your short and moveable skirt was made of the same black material and had shorts underneath for not flashing anyone.
Layered over the top of the shirt was a type of exothermic wiring that was red and produced heat for you to absorb to help counteract the freezing process. The wiring went up to your neck and down to your skirt in a super cool pattern. Around your waist you also had a red pouch that connected to your thigh, it was a holster for small weapons and your energy bars to keep up the calories you need when in a pinch.
You had on special red thigh high socks that also sent heat into your body when needed and grey lace up combat boots with metal tips to help with strengthening your kicks. There was also a holster around your calf for your knives.
Everything was perfect. It was lightweight so it didn't give you too much extra weight that would slow you down when flying and it was moveable so you could fight with little restriction in close quarters as well. You never really were too vain about how you looked but Kaminari's aid in the costume was not bad, you really did think it made you look good especially with the cut of the costume and how the black and red contrasted well with your hair.
You tied your shoes tightly and made your way out to Ground Beta, your steps tapping the ground with each contact of the metal tips and heels to the ground. When you made it to the ground you got a good look at everyone's hero costumes noticing how you and Jiro were the only females not wearing skin tight suits (or in Hagakure's case wearing nothing at all). Jiro's costume was really cool and fit well with the rocker vibe she put out, Mina was also extremely stand out in the way that hers was the most colorful in the wild pattern and bright color.
The two that really stood out to you were Iida's and Bakugou's hero costumes, Iida reminded you of a knight in shining armor like in the children's storybooks you'd read to some of the kids at the hospital while Bakugou's was just completely and utterly badass from the color scheme right down to the mask that almost seemed to be exploding off of his face. They were both wearing something that was anything but simple, even now they were really ready to stand out as heroes.
So this is what future heroes really look like, I wonder if that's how I will be one day.
Kaminari's costume was exactly how he'd designed, even the lightning bolt detailing was perfect, you made your way over to him, Kirishima, and Mina. When Kaminari saw you, his heart picked up speed seeing you wear something so perfectly fitting, the way the red heaters wrapped around you and accentuated every one of your curves and how perfect the shiny material looked as it hugged your chest and body tightly.
He was entranced with how beautiful you looked in your hero costume and the way your walk was just a bit more confident as your wings were displayed proudly behind you. He noticed the slight bounce in your step and how your eyes were trained on your glittering arm of metal, flexing the joints and watching them move, something you did when ready for an intense day of training.
"It's perfect Angel Face, Mei might be a weirdo but she sure knows what she's doing." You nodded in agreement. Mina ran over to you while you were focused on your hand, making sure everything was working properly with the new pins Hatsume had added and she threw her arm over your shoulder, bringing you over to the awaiting boys.
"Dang [N/n]-chan you look so cool! Absolutely adorable, you're gonna have men falling at your feet when you debut as a hero!" She grinned at you, her pink skin looking even more bright in the direct sunlight. You couldn't help but think there had to be something about people with pink hair that made them so wild. You smiled at Mina, her happiness was contagious and you were so pumped at getting to spar people with strong quirks that nothing was able to bring your mood down.
You complimented Kirishima on his costume as well, it was pretty odd on how much skin he was showing but when he explained how he didn't want to keep ripping through his clothes when hardening it all made sense. The most surprising was how muscular Kirishima really was, he was such a kind and gentlemanly person that his slightly ripped body was more intimidating than his actual overly friendly personality.
"Shall we begin my wards?" Everyone straightened up as All Might made his appearance once more. His voice boomed through the area as he explained the battle simulator, it was a 2 versus 2 battle of heroes and villains. You pulled cards to find out your teammate, you pulled out a C the same card as Kaminari. You high-fived and started running through plans, this couldn't have ended up more perfect for the both of you to be able to work together.
He had moves that only a few could withstand and when combining your almost flawless teamwork together, you were going to win. You were determined to win, losing is not an option. Losing meant failure and failure meant punishments; no matter how much you had grown up in the last few years with Aizawa that mindset never really left, it was quite literally beat into you and a few years of 'normalcy' wasn't enough to change that.
The battle between Bakugou and Midoriya was intense to say the least, you could tell they had a lot of pent up issues with one another and them beating the shit did nothing to solve it. When Bakugou walked back into the viewing room his entire body was slumped over and the normal glint of competitiveness and pride that shined in his eyes was dulled.
That blank and vacant look he held, one that showed he was completely lost within himself reminded you of yourself. You understood the pain that came with losing and although the situation was different you felt like you had made a connection with someone, someone who had lost who they were as well. You thought that maybe if Bakugou was going to be able to find himself again, you'd be able to as well.
The next battle was Todoroki and Shoji versus Hagakure and Ojiro; it was over before it even began. You had seen Todoroki use ice before and beat him in the race but this was on a completely different level. His quirk was powerful, definitely one of the most powerful you had ever seen in action, he managed to freeze the entire building so quickly and then thaw it out like it was nothing. You knew you were the best combatant in class but he had you and everyone else beat with his quirk usage, if it came down to it you didn't think you could beat him when there was more than just speed and close combat involved.
"Next up the heroes, Team I and the villains, Team C." You looked at your letter resting in All Might's palm before turning and heading to the training building in ground beta.
"What's our plan [Name]-chan? Kirishima and Sero both seem like tough guys to beat but I know we'll kick their asses." Kaminari's lopsided grin was filled with nothing but confidence; confidence in you, confidence in your teamwork. Your lips stretched into a smirk as you scanned over the building, the lenses in your mask singling out important objects. The rocket was on the top floor and there were electrical outlets surrounding the area, all connecting to the lights keeping the building lit... it was perfect.
"Combat wise we have the advantage but they both have good handle on their quirks, Sero is at the advantage of being able to catch and immobilize us and Kirishima is definitely physically stronger. I think the best option is to incapacitate them quickly, they cant be given a chance to really fight back." He nodded and you smiled happily at him, stretching your wings out alongside the rest of your body. "As much as I want a long and fun battle, I'm still not aloud to hurt anyone... and" Your eyes were mischievous matching with the flirt beside you, "I want to win even more than I want a good battle so lets do this."
"Operation Shocker is a go!" You bumped fists and separated, extending your wings to their full 14 feet wingspan and using a strong push to shoot yourself into the sky, the wind brushing against your skin in an exhilarating freedom. You flew to just below the small formation of clouds in the sky, your eyes focused on the surrounding area of the building waiting to give Kaminari the signal. In the monitor room people were marveling at your team.
"Woahh [Name]-chan is so fast, her wingspan is huge! She really looks like an angel flying out there." Uraraka complimented, smiling happily as she watched in intrigue of the oncoming battle.
"[Name]-chan and Kaminari-kun seem like they work so well together, they already have code names for their plans! I wonder what Kirishima-kun and Sero-kun are going to do against them." Mina spoke as she bounced on the balls of her feet, watching her friends get ready to battle
"Yes well as it was stated before, Kaminari-san and Tenshi-san have been close since before they came to UA so it is not that surprising that they work well together." Yaorozu spoke knowingly, following each movement with ease. Everyone was watching in great interest, they wanted to see what you could do since they'd only seen brief examples of your skill beforehand. Bakugou's ruby eyes were glaring daggers onto the screens, you were fast-big fucking deal- he wanted to see what you could do to figure out the best way to crush you.
There's no way a little winged freak like you had a quirk stronger than him, you just caught him at a bad timing and the whole 'assassin' thing. Whatever, it was more your family than you if anything thats why you're alive...right. All might was twiddling his fingers, grin straining as he watched, ready to step in if things got...out of hand. He'd had one close call today and he doesn't want another, especially with a student that has been proven to have killed before.
You watched as Sero taped all of the doors shut except the left entrance, he was blocking off the exits in hopes to corner you both upstairs and use their quirks in a confined space, that would be to their best advantage.
Smart but they missed that I'm already out of the building.
"They're coming in on the left wing." Your melodious voice spoke out through the small earpiece, lowering your altitude to get closer to the building for a quick entry if necessary.
"Uhh which way is that again." He scratched his head looking left and right.
"Your headset is on that side." Kaminari chuckled at the mix up before giving the window a thumbs up.
"Got it thanks Angel-face! I'll start now." Golden lightning sparked around his body, dancing in a mesmerizingly bright display of electricity. The intensity of the blast made the lights flicker as Kaminari pressed his hands against the flood, directing the unpredictable element to the left as best as he could, letting it run through the wiring in the walls and down to the first level sparking the ground floor in the same dazzling lightning. As soon as they heard the electricity, Sero wrapped Kirishima in tape and shot him into the air, giving Kirishima enough time to harden his body, making what should have been an intense and numbing volt into nothing but a slight shock that felt more like small pokes than anything.
Sero on the other hand didn't have anywhere to go and the electricity struck his body, numbing the muscles leaving him to pass out in a heap on the floor, his muscles convulsing with the electro-stimulation. Kaminari stopped the blast before he would short-circuit, feeling only slightly woozy as he swayed.
Kirishima released his hardening and ran up the staircase, bursting through the door. He hardened his fist ready to knock Kaminari out in his slightly more dazed state but before his punch made contact a bright white, translucent wall appeared in front of him, his body slamming into it. Kirishima looked to the window as you burst through it, your hands glowing. The redhead slammed his fist into the makeshift barrier, shattering your light like glass. You pushed of the ground, your wings hitting him harshly sending the boy skidding back slightly.
His fists hardened once more and he grit his teeth, not wanting to punch a girl-it's so unmanly-but he wanted to win even more. Your hand gripped onto his, the sound of your springs and wiring creaking as your hand squeezed tighter against the rock hard fist, stopping it from hitting you. You used Kirishima's weight and momentum against him, flipping your body against the direction of his fist and wrapping your legs around his neck, forcing his body to turn with yours, knocking him on his back, his left arm locked into an arm bar, stretching his shoulder and rotator cuff painfully.
Before he could get up from the ground, you formed cuffs made of light to wrap around his hands, legs and waist. Each bracer pinned him to the floor and you made a box around the both of you, Kirishima pulled against the glowing chains, weakening them with each pull. You raised your right hand, hitting the light on the ceiling with a small disc so the wiring fell out, the small bits of electricity sparking from the now frayed wiring.
You formed a small tunnel of light connecting to Kaminari's hand, this was the special move only you two could do together as of right now. You'd figured out he could use the electricity from a direct source to amplify his power and increase the length he could release his electricity on accident...when you wanted to see what would happen if he stuck a fork in a power outlet.
"Light switch!" You yelled out, Kirishima was getting closer and closer to breaking free. The golden blonde gripped the wiring and pulled the electricity powering the lights into his body before releasing it, all of the golden energy being forced into the tunnel you had made until it released into your chamber, shocking both you and Kirishima with an extremely high voltage of unrelenting energy. The lights went out in the building leaving the only source of light being what was emitting from your solidified forms of light and tinged by the slightly golden hue of the staticky lightning surrounding you three.
You could feel your body beginning to twitch and the energy coursing through your muscles as the pain worsened but the shock was enough that even through Kirishima's hardened muscles it penetrated enough to force his muscles to convulse and his body to go numb. The shocking stopped and you released your hold on Kirishima. You hunched over breathing heavily, your body slightly cold from your quirk and your head pounding from the influx of electricity that was surging through your body.
Kaminari was fried, his thumbs pointed out as he smiled not registering anything around him. Kirishima was lying sprawled out on the ground dazed and twitching from the shock, the pins and needles feeling still keeping his muscles numb. A ding went off and All Might's voice came on over the intercom.
"The villain team WINSS!" You grabbed Kaminari's hand, his fingers facing into yours as you pulled him behind you. Your other hand gripped the shoulder guards of Kirishima's costume and you (not so gently) dragged both the boys down the stairwell until you reached Sero, he was sitting up his helmet in his hands. He saw you struggling to drag Kirishima and smiled, grabbing the redhead and throwing his arm over his shoulder making the still numb boy groan.
"I-I feel so stupid." Kirishima grinned albeit painfully. Sero returned the look with a smile of his own.
"That sucked, Kirishima-kun and really wanted to beat you, we had everything planned out too but Kaminari-kun's quirk is stronger and more painful than I thought." He took a look at Kaminari, receiving a thumbs up before chuckling. "He totally fried his brain though, he looks like an idiot." You giggled slightly, Sero's smile wasn't condescending towards Kaminari so you thought he wasn't being a dick like other kids at school used to be.
"He is one." You both walked out of the only unsealed door and All Might was standing there grinning, his hands on his hips. He sped over to you and placed a large, heavy hand on your and Kaminari's shoulders, sparing a slightly surprised glance to the brain dead boy who was grinning stupidly.
"Good teamwork Young Kaminari, Young Tenshi. Your skills are very good for young heroes."
"Call me [Name] not Tenshi All Might-sensei." All Might ran a hand against the back of his neck at your annoyed tone, he'd forgotten about you not wanting to be known by your last name. You were [name] not Tenshi.
"Ok young [Name]." He turned his attention to the 'heroes' "Young Sero, Young Kirishima you fought valiantly." You followed him back to the monitoring room to get your assessment. Sero was praised for saving his teammate even when he wasn't able to save himself, the act of a real hero. Kirishima was praised for his withstanding of the lightning and smart use of his quirk but he was told he needed to learn how to fight, just going out street brawl style against an opponent with better combat skills will ultimately result in his failure again and again. Kaminari was going to get his review when he could actually process what was going on and you were praised for your teamwork, combat skills, and quick improvisational skills in order to get the win.
"[Name]-chan how are you immune to lightning? Kirishima was getting the same amount as you and it didn't even seem to bother you. Is it part of that glowy stuff you were able to create." Mina was right in your face, her black and yellow eyes staring excitedly into yours. That got the attention of the class, they were all wondering the same thing. Most just weren't willing to express that curiosity. Kirishima was glad she asked, he was wondering how you handled it but after hearing of some of your past he was afraid to ask, not wanting to hurt your feelings.
"As a punishment my parents would lock me in a room and shock me to build up my tolerance to electricity so I can handle the voltage Kaminari emits when trying to numb or knock out somebody. It still hurts like a bitch though." You rubbed at your arm, the muscle still tense from the shock. Todoroki wasn't paying close attention, in fact he couldn't have cared less but he just happened to hear enough of what you said to feel an odd connection with you. Your family was as fucked up-if not more so-than his own.
As harsh as it sounded, he felt slightly glad that someone else had shitty parents, he was less alone. Not that it would make you friends but it was still a good feeling to not be alone. Mina's face fell, giving you a sympathetic look before crushing you in a hug. Uraraka, Sero, the now able to move Kirishima, and Hagakure followed suit but all of them released you as soon as they felt your bare skin.
"Agh what the hell [Name]-chan why is your skin so cold?" Mina yelped.
"Do we need to take you to see Recovery Girl?" Uraraka fretted over you worriedly. You hadn't spoken to the bubbly brunette yet but she was super kind and already considered you a friend, she held no fear towards you. "Oh oops I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ochako Uraraka!" She smiled brightly towards you waiting expectantly for your answer, she would help you if needed.
"It's just the drawback of my quirk. Making solidified light like I did uses heat, converting my internal body temperature into light. Thats what my suit does to help combat the cold."
"Man that's so harsh. How are you not shivering?"
"I've been colder."
"That's so manly!" The next battle trial started and you slipped away to watch from the back, leaning against the wall besides Bakugou who still looked completely and utterly dejected. You noticed how his jaw was tense and finally came out to ask him what you'd been wondering since meeting the explosive blonde.
"Hey Bakugou."
"Fuck off wings, I ain't talkin' to you."
"You just said something to me... isn't that talking to me?" You tilted your head to the side slightly. You understood the 'fuck off' part perfectly having used it yourself but him saying he isn't talking to you when he was talking to you seemed like an oxymoron.
"Are you fuckin' dumb, shut the hell up." He looked at you through narrowed eyes trying to figure out what you were playing at. To his surprise, and annoyance, you looked so peaceful and earnest trying to figure out his meaning. It was stupidly cute. You didn't look down on him even when he thought you should be, you were undeniably strong and it pissed him off. Deku always looked down on him, but you weren't. You also weren't praising him and inflating his ego, you seemed to see him as just another person and Bakugou was trying to figure out whether that pissed him off more or made him feel good. After a moment of silence watching the battle trials, you spoke once more.
"Your quirk is really strong, you could probably beat most of the people in this class with it but you lose your cool way too fast. You also show your moves before you make them, hide the way you're going to attack more. You should have learned this as an assassin already." Bakugou was listening to your good advice, even if he was pretending not to until the final sentence resonated with him.
"Haah, I ain't some shitty murderer like you! I'm gonna fuckin' be the number 1 hero not some half-assed killer." He glared harder at you, baring his teeth like some kind of animal. You blinked in surprise, Bakugou really wasn't another 'bad kid' on the path of reformation by becoming a hero.
"Oh. I kinda just assumed that because you always talked about killing and how Midoriya was scared of you that you were at UA the same way I am." You shrugged listlessly and kept your eyes trained on the explosive-totally not villainous teen-waiting for him to talk. His overdramatic reactions were amusing and it seemed that his bad mood slightly mellowed out into anger as he focused on talking (insulting) you.
"Well I ain't so don't fucking assume shit like that." Bakugou huffed and turned away from you, watching the battle trial intently with furrowed brows and a tense scowl. His fists clenched to the point of his knuckles turning bright white the longer he watched his classmates battle it out. Your wing brushed against the exposed bicep of his arm and he finally realized you were still next to him for no fucking reason. When he tells people to fuck off they do so he assumed you did as well. "Why are you still here?"
"I'm bored so I'm sitting with you." You studied his reactions, Bakugou was an anomaly an angsty teen and you were determined to figure out his reactions. You wanted to be friends, at least you thought you did. He was funny and strong, he'd be a good person to spar with.
"I don't wanna to be friends with an extra like you dammit, go hang out with dunce face or shitty hair or something." He growled out, getting more aggravated with how you never seemed to flinch at his words.
"Ok thats fine, even if we're not friends I want to spar with you some time." You waved at him and got up to leave, the smile on your face seemed to glow and his eyes took over your form in almost a trance. You were gorgeous and it was annoying. He looked away and his mood dropped once more watching you leave your hair swaying with each silent and elegant step you took towards your friends.
"Yeah, yeah whatever wings." He huffed out, his mind darkening once more when he thought of your advice and how he lost to shitty Deku. Hell you, Dunce Face, and the Icy hot bastard were all so fucking strong it felt like all the praise he received as child was fucking worthless if he wasn't able to beat all of you into the ground. You being cute couldn't get in the way of that, there were lots of cute girls and none of them stopped him so you weren't going to either.
A/N: Did you like it???? I hope so! Thank you for reading and I hope you star this chapter!
