Chapter 4: Sicilian Women

After the ceremony, the reception began. Everyone went towards the reception venue and settled on the chairs and tables. Everything around was decorated with dusty blue and white colour.

Anna gazed around in amazement looking at the beautifully decorated reception venue. She smiled brightly before drifting to her gaze to her husband who was already looking down at her.

"Dusty blue is kind of becoming my favourite colour," Anna said with a smile.

"This has always been my favourite colour," Leo said softly cupping her cheek between his fingers. "What's your favourite colour?"

"Green," Anna answered under her chuckle while Leo regarded her with so much love in his eyes.

"There they are," Vernon voiced and strolled towards them along with the boys, while the bridesmaids approach them from the other side.

"Congratulations to both of you." Vernon smiled widely and hugged them both. Then he looked at Anna and cupped both her cheeks, "You look so beautiful, Princess," Vernon drawled and smiled widely.

"Beautiful than Jasmine?" Anna teased making him rolled his eyes over while the others laughed at him. Jasmine flushed beside Anna and nudged her with her elbow.

"You should have grabbed the bouquet when I threw it up," Anna said looking at Jasmine with a teasing look before turning to Fiona, "But I'm glad that Fiona caught it. Find a man soon and get married," She added under her chuckled.

"You don't need to find one when he is standing right here," Samuel said proudly and rested his arm over Joshua's shoulder. Joshua chuckled softly, giving him a weird look.

"Kids," Fiona rolled her eyes over and chuckled softly.

"Hello, 1, 2, mic testing," Michael tested over the mic grabbing everyone's attention to him. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. First of all, a big congratulation to the beautiful newlywed couple and wishing you peace, joy and happiness today and forever," He said genuinely. Anna and Leo smiled at him in appreciation.

"There, there now, would you both please relax and have a seat? The night is still young." Michael told in a mischief tone making everyone chuckled in amusement while Anna flushed. Leo held his hand out for her to which she readily accepted and they both made their way through the crowd towards the front seat.

After a brief moment, the family members started to give their congratulatory messages one after the other. Anna was welled with tears as she listened to each of their words.

"Tessa, my dear, it was such a blessing to have you as my sister. When you were born, I remember the time Vernon and I always compete to be the best brother for you." Joshua said reminiscing and chuckled softly. Vernon looked at his brother in complete amusement and laughed softly thinking back to that moment.

Anna watched him in awe and sniffled softly, tears gathering over her eyes. Though she doesn't remember about that moment—which is also nearly impossible for her to remember because she was just newborn that moment, she could feel how much her brothers have loved her from the moment she breathed into this world.

"Tessa," Joshua sighed contently looking at his sister. "It is hard to not have you in and around the house from now on but I'm so happy for you, my dear. You chose the right man to spend your life with." He said with a sincere smile and turned his gaze towards Leo. "Leo, did I tell you that I'm very happy to have you as my brother-in-law?" Joshua prodded amusedly. Leo chuckled at him before raising his glass towards him as appreciation.

"I knew you'd come rolling one day," Joshua jested. The ones who understood the meaning behind his words laughed audibly. "Just kidding, I'm glad you met my beloved sister. You always tell me that it is the fate that brought you both together, here I agree with you that it was fate working in both of your life. Both of you are a match made in heaven. You both are blessings to everyone around you, keep sharing the blessing. Happy married life to you both," Joshua concluded and raised his glass for cheers. Everyone with glass cheers back and regarded him.

After the congratulatory session was over, both the couple was called forward to commence the dance floor. And soon the soft musical piece began to play.

"Shall we, Mio coure?" Leo said courtly and extended his hand towards him. Anna smiled brightly before curtsying and accepting his hand.

They started to slow dance to the muse and lost in the moment. Leo pulled her closer by her waist and looked into her eyes.

"I can't wait to have you all for myself tonight," He whispered huskily near her ear, making her blush and smile shyly. Both of them were glued closely as they move to the muse.

"What are you going to do with tonight?" Anna asked softly before biting her bottom lip and stared at his lips.

"Now that you are officially mine, I'm going to give you immense pleasure tonight," He whispered darkly making her gasped softly. She blushed harder and let out a soft throat-clearing sound. She could feel her body erupting in excitement and felt a sensation forming up between her legs.

"I can't wait to feel that pleasure," Anna said in a bare whisper before keeping her arms over his back neck and pulling him into a kiss. Shortly, she pulled away and smiled slyly at him.

"I'll make sure that you enjoy every moment we have tonight," Leo smirked mischievously.

"I have enjoyed the first time we did," Anna admitted blatantly, running her finger over his perfectly handsome face.

"Oh, honey, this is going to be our wedding night and this is going to be very different from our first night," Leo said softly but his words were intense. He raised his hand and tugged a streak of hair behind her ear. "That night I was not in full control, I didn't want to hurt you."

"That night was the best moment in my life," Anna said shyly and smiled at him.

"That night won't be the best after tonight," He smirked devilishly making her bit her lips again. "You should stop doing that, Anastasia." He stated lowly as he intensely looked down at her lips.

"Aww—I see you are affected," Anna said playfully and intentionally bit her bottom lips again.

"You know how to get naughty, honey," Leo smirked jerking an eyebrow at her.

"I learned it from you," Anna said proudly and smiled cheekily at him. Leo chuckled softly before spinning her around and holding her back into their former position.

"You should learn more," Leo said playfully and in a meanwhile, the music ends and soon a new music piece began.

"Oye, brother, give us the chance to dance with our lovely sister-in-law," Alesso said in a playful tone and came beside them. Leo rolled his eyes over before placing a kiss on Anna's cheek.

"I'll be with the boys." He tells her. "I want my wife beside me soon," he added amusedly looking at Alesso before strolling away.

Leo went and joined Joshua on the table. He was sitting alone watching the couples dancing on the dance floor to the slow music. Leo grinned at him before sitting on the chair beside him.

"Ah—both the BFF seemed to be madly in love with your sisters," Joshua drawled amusedly looking and Vernon and Samuel who were dancing with Jasmine and Sarah.

"Well, my sisters are of real beauty," Leo told proudly and glanced around to find Fiona. He saw her sitting in a table along with Severina and Avery. And watches as Antonio and Francis escort their wives to the dance floor, leaving her alone.

"You should ask her for a dance," Leo suggested in a sincere tone. Joshua creased his brows and looked at him. Then Leo gestured his head towards where Fiona was seated alone.

"What are you trying to do here?" Joshua asked suspiciously after glancing at Fiona.

"Nothing, I randomly said. She deserved a dance from in-laws." Leo stated as a matter of fact. "It's our family tradition to exchange dance with the in-laws during informal session." He added amusedly.

"Your family is all about tradition, especially your mother," Joshua said under her chuckle.

"She's a pure Sicilian lady," Leo implied proudly.

"So was my mother," Joshua sighed sadly but then he quickly masked his emotion and smiled at him. "And Sicilian women are very loyal but dangerous." He drawled amusedly.

"So is my wife," Leo chuckled softly.

"I should follow the tradition or your Sicilian mother will come and lecture me the hell out of it if she doesn't see me dancing with any of my in-laws," Joshua jested in the process of standing up from his seat. Leo laughed heartily before swatting his hand in the air. Joshua shook his head before making his way towards Fiona.

"Hey, Fiona, wanna dance with me?" Joshua said casually tilting his head towards the dance floor.

"Is this how you always ask a lady for a dance?" Fiona asked lazily looking up to him.

"I'm sorry but I've never asked any lady for a dance before," Joshua told as he nodded his head in thought.

"What!" Fiona exclaimed under her chuckle. "Do you even know how to couple dance then?" She asked him amusedly.

"Wanna try me?" Joshua jerked an eyebrow. Fiona rolled her eyes over and laughed softly.

"You should first learn how to ask a lady for a dance like a gentleman," Fiona chirped.

"Sicilian lady," He muttered quietly and shook his head slightly. "Would you like to have a dance with me, m' lady?" he curved down and asked courtly, extending his hand out to her.

"I knew there's a real gentleman hidden within you," Fiona said amusedly before keeping her hand upon his. Joshua felt her softness within his palm and involuntarily his thumb rubbed over her wrist, feeling her pulse. Then his eyes unconsciously ran to her body and noticed how soft her white skin looks.

"You don't know how to dance!" Fiona exclaimed tilting her head slightly. He tore his eyes away from her body to her face and noticed faint freckles over her nose.

"I know very well how to dance," Joshua stated before leading her to the dance floor. Fiona kept her hand over his sharp shoulder and flinched a little when his hand came around her waist. And they silently began to slow dance.

"Have you ever been in a relationship?" Fiona asked randomly trying to bring out a conversation.

"Once," Joshua answered before spinning her around. "What about you? Have you ever been to one?" He asked simply.

"Yes. I did." Fiona answered looking up to him.

"You did. So you are no more in a relationship!" Joshua prodded raising his brows.

"My ex cheated me five years ago—a week after you took Anna away." She told softly.

"Well, then I have to say that you did the right thing breaking up with him." Joshua smiled.

"What the reason behind yours?" Fiona asked, hiding her curiosity from her voice and expression.

"Well, it was my mistake." Joshua shrugged off and waltzed smoothly along with her. "She asked for it so I accepted it."

"What mistake?" Fiona couldn't hide her curiosity this time.

"I think it's best if you don't know it," Joshua said before spinning her around again.

Leo watched them from his place and smiled. Kazimir had joined him some moments ago. He turned his gaze towards Anna who was now dancing with Roberto. He narrowed her eyes at them when they shared laughed among them. He looked away from them and spotted Alesso and his cousins at one corner, sharing talks among them.

"Where's Nicolo, Dino?" Leo asked.

"They're inside, playing video games with your son," Kazimir answered making him laughed softly. "But I guess, they already abandoned the game," he added in a while and gestured to his front. Leo turned his gaze towards it and saw them. Val grinned widely on seeing him and ran towards him.

"Come here, my boy," Leo said and lifted Val on his lap.

"I'm going to dance with Anna," Nicolo told and walked away while Dino took a seat by the table.

"I'm next in line," Dino tells after him.

"After you, Dino," Kazimir cooed making Leo snapped at him. "It's a must to have a dance with the most beautiful bride in the world." He said and wiggled his brows teasingly.

"I guess I'm not having my wife beside me anytime soon," Leo muttered bitterly under his breath.

"Be patience, buddy. You have all night to be with her." Kazimir said with a mischief smile before pouring himself a drink. He drank in one go and placed he empty glass on the table before leaning closer to Leo. "Is this going to be your first?" he asked and smirked.

"No," Leo prompted in delight.

"Leo," he turned to see that familiar voice and frowned slightly.

"Ballerina,"
