Alexis sits in her science class, biting her lip trying not to groan at how the teacher's lips move. "Ms White Heart, What can you tell us about life science?" "Life science, it covers the characteristics of living things, plant and animal cell structures, the characteristics of unicellular and multi-cellular life, genetics, classification of organisms, the structure and function of human cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems, and the structure and function of plants." The teacher looks at Alexis, very impressed.

"Good job, I'll be expecting more from you. "Alexis nods and listens to her teacher. "Does anyone know what physical science is?" Alexis raises her hand. "Ms White Heart." "Physical science covers chemistry and physics, including physical and chemical changes, atoms and elements, mixtures and solutions, the periodic table, states of matter, motion, gravity, density and buoyancy, energy, heat, the properties of waves, and light." "I'm also guessing you know what Nature science is?" Alexis nods.

"The Science of Nature materials are supplemental, recommended for use alongside the Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth/Space Science courses. It will be included when parents register for any middle school science course. Nature of science teaches students how to safely and correctly use scientific equipment, take measurements, conduct experiments and investigations, collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, evaluate evidence, and present their work."

"Earth and Space Science Ms White Heart?" "Teachers teach students about Earth's structure, geologic processes, plate tectonics, oceans and the water cycle, Earth's atmosphere, weather and climate, our solar system, stars, and galaxies. Students also investigate how the motions of the sun, the moon, and Earth create days, seasons, years, eclipses, phases of the moon, and tides." The bell rings. "Alexis brought us to the end of class, hopefully, she can do it again sometime."

The class gets their books and leave. Miller meets up with her. "Hey, Alex!" "Miller!" "Heading home?" "Actually we have that after schools thing with Mr M" "Fuck, I forgot." "Miller, don't swear...." "Sorry, I know how you are with swearing."

"Brady, Anderson, David, this is Alexis, call her Alex." "What are we talking about today?' "Crushes." Alexis looks to her doodle book and writes down her crushes. "Alex, you'll go last since you're new." "Sabrina." "Chloe." "Jax." "Bella." They turn to Alexis." "I have t-two c-crushes." "Spill them." "Thomas and Derek." "You're Science and reading teacher?" "Y-Yeah."

Alexis nods. "We invited them today." They hear a knock. "Come in." Mr D opens the door and they walk in. "Alexis surprised to see you here." Alexis smiles and nods. "What we talking about?" "Crushes." "Well I like someone but it's forbidden." "How?" "It's a student." "She's really smart and knows everything in science, especially today."

Alexis puts her head down. "You okay?" "No." "Well, the meeting's over." "What time is it?" "5" They walk to the front doors and Anderson, Brady, Miller, and David leave. "Alexis, do you have a ride?" "No." "C'mon, Ms White Heart." Alexis follows Mr D to his car. "show me where you live and I'll bring you."

Alexis looks at Mr.D. "I don't live with anyone." "You live alone?" Alexis nods. "Stay at my place." "W-would that be g-going against t-teacher/student rules?" "No, I won't do anything to you." "O-okay, I'll s-stay at your place." Mr.D starts the car up and they drive off.

"So Alexis......" Alexis looks at Mr.D. "Mr.D, who do you live with?" "It's only me." "How many beds?" "1, I can sleep on the couch." "No, that's okay." Alexis looks out the window and tugs on her skirt. "You don't have to be nervous." Alexis gives him a halfhearted smile.

At the house

Alexis grabs her backpack and walks into his house. "You can set your backpack down by the door." Alexis sets her backpack down and looks around. She turns and bumps into her teacher. "Sorry." He smiles. "Can I try something?" Her heart starts racing and she nods. "Close your eyes." Alexis closes her eyes and feels a pair of lips against hers. she pulls away and her eyes are wide.

"Mr...." "Call me Derek." She feels her face getting red and looks away. "Was that your first kiss?" "y-yeah...." "I'm so sorry." "W-where the b-bathroom?" "Down the hall." Alexis walks to the bathroom and splashes cold water on her face."C-can I borrow s-some clothes?" "Sure." Derek grabs a T-shirt.

"This good?" Alexis nods and takes the shirt to the bathroom. She takes her shirt off and debates if she should take her bra off; nope. She puts the shirt on and its long enough so she takes her skirt off. She leaves the bathroom and heads to the bedroom. "Alexis?" Alexis freezes in place and goes over to Derek. "Y-yeah?" "Can you help me plan science for the week." "Sure." "Sit down and go over what I have planned and I'll tell you if I'll keep it or not." "ok."

Alexis sits down at his desk and they go over each thing. "That it?" "Yeah, that's it." "Alexis can you add to the list, talk about how chicken birth happens," Alexis adds it and closes his folder. "Now what?" Derek goes to his bed and pats the other side. "Come lay down with me." Alexis nervously walks over to the bed and lays down.

"You don't have to be nervous." "M-Mr D this is i-inappropriate" "What, a teacher sleeping next to a student?" "yeah." "Can we be a secret forbidden couple." "We're not dating." "Will you go out on a date with me?" "S-sure." Derek leans over her and kisses her. Alexis gives him a small smile. "Derek?" "Yes?" "Where'd we go for a date?" "The diner down the block." "The new one that opened?" "Yeah."

Alexis looks at her teacher and now sees him as her boyfriend. "Derek, we have to keep this away from everyone." "I won't help you with any work you get, that'd be unfair." "ok." Alexis lays down and covers herself up. "Alexis, live with me." "ok." They fall asleep.
