The rest of the world was black and white,
But we were in screaming colors.

"It's done."
I heard her voice, it sounded relieved, and when I looked up and pushed my brother back to a safe distance from the edge, Nora Wellington stood there at the edge of the building, high above ground, looking at her feet.
"My job is done." She said blankly as she leaned back and let herself fall off the tower.
I watched her, shocked, angry and sulking. She really did commit suicide, her life goal really was just taking his life.
I didn't let the thought of her bother me as I fell onto my knees and dropped the gun on the ground. Peter was also on his knees, hands over his bloody left chest, breathing heavily.
"Peter..." I crawled over to him. He couldn't breathe, like his throat was locked shut. I then realized that it was blood blocking his breathing.
I reached him just in time and took him in my arms. More drops of silent tears rolled down my face and no words were able to explain my feelings.
I shot him.
He's dying because of me.
Peter closed his eyes like it hurts just to breathe or move. He opened it once again to look at me.
"I'm sorry." He said.
"What are you even talking about-- this is-- all on me-- I shot--" I struggled to speak, but he shushed me by smiling sadly.
"Never.. blame this on yourself. If you love me, never do it." As he begged, he reached his shaking hand to my cheeks. "I'm sorry for leaving you, again. I'm so sorry."
"Don't talk like that, you called for backup , they'll be here soon, and you'll be fine." I told him, giving myself some hope.
"There's a bullet in my heart. If I were a normal human, I would be dead right now, so just listen to me." He said, he stared into my eyes. "I'm not gonna make it."
"Don't-- please, don't--"
"You know... That day that I woke up from the coma, I felt nothing and I was so tired. I just wanted everything to end. Tony told me to hold on to something, but I had nothing, until I saw you." He smiled, then coughed up more blood.
"..."
"And I wanted you to be happy, I wanted you to be safe. So I'm so, so sorry for every time that I was willing to die or give away my life for you, including now."
"You did nothing wrong... We don't deserve this. We deserve years and years together. You'll be the king and I'll be right next to you as your queen." My tears wouldn't stop flowing, and I let it drop.
"I'm sorry, I have to leave you. Promise me you won't forget me, okay?" He asked.
I couldn't reply, not because I would forget him, but because I couldn't accept the fact that he was really going. But he was in pain, and so cold. His lips were shaking and I could see the color slowly fading from his skin.
"Forever. You have a place in my heart forever."
He smiled softly and placed his fingers on the curve of my cheeks. He stared into my eyes, for this was the last time he would get to do so.
"Oh... God. Seeing you like this makes me sad. I wish I could stay."
"So don't leave."
"I don't wanna go." He muttered.
"Don't go." I cried, I would never get to hold him again, I would never be able to kiss him, the one that I loved, and the one that loved me when no one did.
"This is for the best. I have no worries now... You are a Stark, you will be just fine. My friends, my family will take a good care of you when I'm gone." His voice gets softer and softer, he couldn't even focus on anything now.
I looked up at Jason who was lying on the ground with tears in his eyes and an expression filled with guilt, there was nothing we could do to save him. So I used my fingers to brush his hair off his face, my tears dropped onto the side of his cheeks.
"I love you." I told him. "And it will stay the same until I see you on the other side."
"I love you too. The most. More than anything." He replied, then he reached his limit and closed his eyes.
I could feel his slow breathing when I bent over to kiss him softly on the lips. I stayed as long as I could, never wanting to let go, blinded to the truth that this was our last kiss. The cold breeze of the rooftop hit us. What they said was true, the higher you are the colder it gets. I sat there freezing, with Peter Parker in my arms, my lips on his, begging for more time than what we got.
When I split our lips apart his breath was gone.

3 years later
"(Y/n). May Parker is outside, do you want me to bring her in now?"
Charlotte, my personal assistant asked with her sweet voice. I nodded as a reply and clicked send an my business email. I sighed and stretched my tired body after a long day of working.
The door opened as May Parker walked into the room smiling brightly as she hugged me. "Hi, are you ready?"
"I'm dying to get out of this tower." I told her, then bent over to grab my coat on the chair. It's was snowing outside.
We left the building in my Maserati, Jon was the driver, and headed to my father's mansion nearby. Today is the avenger's reunion, most of the people we knew were coming. It took us a little while to get there because of the traffic but we arrived.
I jumped right onto Thor as soon as I saw him, it's been years since we last met. "How have you been?" He asked.
"Well. You know? Busy. First couple of years of taking care of the company. Right, I haven't told you, I'm helping him run things."
"Your dad?"
Before I could answer, I got bumped to the side by Wanda and the others, everyone looked gorgeous. The last person to join the party was Tony Stark, aka my father. The first couple of months were kind of awkward, but now after three years we became really close.
We had some drinks and switched turns telling stories, Thor made us laugh by telling jokes and weird things asgardians once did, just to get saddened thinking of how his people are gone.
"Damn. I wish Peter were here." Thor said.
And everyone froze.
Including me. I went blank hearing that name. My throat closed and everything got colder.
"I'm sorry..." He said.
"God damn it, Thor." Clint sighed.
"Anyone want more of this drink?" Steve changed the subject, seeing me and Tony go mute.
I didn't know how sad I looked, but almost everyone snuck a glance at me worriedly, I tried to get the memories out of my mind, but I couldn't.
"I need to make a call with a client." I told Tony, we both knew I just needed some alone time.
One thing I also liked about this place was the rooftop above the fourth floor. You could see the glowing swimming pool, forest and sky. It's a great place to just think.
I let the wind mess up my hair and clothes, as I looked out at the view.
Gorgeous. He would love this place.
I wish he were here.
"Come back to me..." I whispered.
"I'm right here."
My eyes widened as I recognized the familiar sound. And just as soon as I turned around I was kissed.
"You miss me?" Peter Parker asked.
"Peter? I thought you couldn't make it back from your meeting in Milan?" I gasped, then hugged him tight.
"I canceled it." He drew his nose along my jaw line, forcing me to lay back on the railing. "I missed you so much." He whispered.
"I missed you too..." He tried to kiss me again, and yeah, I'd love to be kissed and all but I was still confused. "Did you say hi to the others yet?"
"No. I climbed up."
"Wow, how extra." I chuckled.
"C'mon, give me a mouth to mouth." He begged like a child but I teased by pushing him away every time he leaned in.
"No. It's not like you're dying or anything, I'm not gonna give you resuscitation like that day on the rooftop. God. I still get nightmares that you didn't make it. You heart stopped, you know?"
"But I made it."
"With a giant bullet hole in your left chest, yeah. If Tony hasn't arrived in time with his new friend Doctor Strange, you would've been dead---"
He shut me up. Again. With a kiss.
The touch of his lips brought my senses to life, and I forgot to keep my guard up and just got lost in him. For how long... I don't know, but he noticed that I was running out of air and backed off so that I could take in a breath.
"I'll never leave again. I promise-- no. I swear." He muttered. And I couldn't help but grin.
He was a million shades of colors to me, sometime so blue, sometimes everything was black and white, sometimes he painted me golden. And I realized just in time that even if it was all complicated to understand, he was colorful.
Thanks to dear, Charlene, who really did change her whole personality and became the better person for Jason, for tricking me so that I ended up inside Parker's tower that day.
Thanks to my dear father, Tony Stark, and the others, who supported the both of us, and would soon find a way to wake my mother up.
Thanks to dear, Peter Parker, who believed in and loved me. Thanks to his heart that wanted to stay. If he didn't wanna go, he didn't have to go. And I would hold onto him.
"I love you. Mr Parker." I said.
"I love you more Mrs Parker." He said.
