Author's note: this chapter will be a little short. This will be the last chapter.

It's been two days since Hanna has been unconscious in the hospital. And Christian never left her bedside. He didn't care about his meetings, all he cares about is hoping that his girlfriend wakes up.

Christian had fallen asleep sitting aside Hanna, gently holding her hand.

Hanna stirs awake and gently squeezes Christian's hand. He tiredly wakes up and looks at her.

"Hanna?" Christian said, relieved.

"Hi." Hanna greeted him with a small smile.

Christian pecks a kiss on Hanna's knuckles. "Thank God, you're okay. I was so worried about you."

"Jack?" Hanna said.

"He's in jail and Taylor took the money back to the bank." Christian told her.

Christian and Hanna exchange looks at each other.

"Annalise? I'm so sorry." Christian apologized. "I'm sorry for all of this. Jack went after you to hurt me. Just like Leila. And Elena. I didn't want my past to come to you."

"Christian? This isn't your fault. None of this is." Hanna said. "I don't blame you for this."

"I blame myself." Christian said.

"You shouldn't." Hanna said. "You're a good person, Christian. You just had a complicated upbringing."

"I thought I lost you." Christian said to her with tears in his eyes. "I thought I lost you forever."

"You didn't. I'm right here. I'm okay." Hanna reassured him.

Christian and Hanna exchange small smiles at each other. He pecks another kiss on her knuckles.

Minutes after, Hanna has eaten some food. And Mrs. Grey has came to check on her.

"How are you feeling, Hanna?" Mrs. Grace Grey asked.

"I'm okay." Hanna replied. "Where did Christian go?"

"I convinced him to go. He cancelled his meetings." Mrs. Grey said. "Hanna? He really loves you with all of this heart. He would never let anyone close to him, until you came into his life."

"Christian is a good person. He's just very complicated. I know he's protecting me from his past. But I love him and he loves me too." Hanna said.

Mrs. Grey and Hanna exchange small smiles at each other.

That afternoon, After getting discharged from the hospital, Hanna slowly walks inside the living room and sees Christian cooking some food in the cooking pan.

{Hanna's Outfit}

"Are you cooking, Christian?" Hanna asked her boyfriend.

"Just some scrambled eggs and bacon." Christian said, putting the scrambled eggs and bacon on a plate. "For you."

Hanna sits at the kitchen countertop and eats her breakfast.

"My parents are having a formal party at their house this evening." Christian said.

"Okay." Hanna said. "You cancelled your meetings?"

"I did." Christian said. "I rescheduled them for next time."

"Okay. Do you want to go for a walk or something?" Hanna asked.

"Sure. I can use some fresh air." Christian replied.

Christian and Hanna are taking a stroll together, gently holding each other's hands.

They visit the café where she works and eats their food and drink their drinks.

As Christian and Hanna spends time together, he realizes how much he really and truly loves her. And almost losing her made he realize that life itself could end at any moment.

That evening, Christian and Hanna arrived at the Grey's house. Everyone is eating and drinking, mingling with each other with the caterers with their hors d'oeuvres.

{Hanna's Dress Outfit}

Hanna is looking out of the window, at the evening sky with her arms folded.

"Hanna?" Christian said.

Hanna looks at her boyfriend. "Hey, Christian."

"Your parents are here." Christian told her with a small smile.

Hanna looks at her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Coleman. She walks over to them and they share a hug.

"Mom? Dad? What are you guys doing here?" Hanna asked.

"Christian invited us to be here." Mrs. Coleman told her.

"He wanted our arrival to be a surprise for you." Mr. Coleman said.

"I'm happy you guys are here." Hanna said to her parents.

Christian gently taps his champagne glass, getting everyone's attention.

"Good evening, everyone. I hope you all are enjoying the party that my parents are hosting." Christian told everyone. "Recently, I had to deal with some troubling situation . . ." He trailed off, referring to Jack Hyde. ". . . but, however, things worked out pretty well. I realized that life itself is precious and should be cherished every moment."

Christian and Hanna exchange looks at each other.

"Hanna? Would you come up, please?" Christian asked.

Hanna slowly walks up next to Christian and they gently holds each other's hands.

"A minute ago, I almost lost this young woman and I meant what I said, every moment should be cherished." said Christian.

Christian and Hanna exchange small smiles at each other and he gently gets down on one knee, and gently takes out an engagement ring, causing everyone to gasps astonishingly.

"Christian?" Hanna said, surprised.

"Annalise Coleman? Will you marry me?" Christian asked her.

Hanna smiles at him. "Yes. I'll marry you."

Everyone applauds happily. Christian gently slides the engagement ring on Hanna's left hand ring finger. He gets up, shares a kiss and a hug.

Later that night, everyone went outside to watch the fireworks in the night sky.

Christian and Hanna exchange small smiles at each other and they share a kiss again and they look up at the fireworks in the sky.
