and my dog stretched the leash
she made you trip, but you caught yourself

then you looked at me, and I did the same
wow your eyes we're so pretty
i was lost in them, until you spoke

your pup likes to play games, huh?

i giggled, starting to feel nervous

yeah, she is a tough one

but you interjected

it's alright; she is adorable

and then you bent down
and rubbed her head
she smiled and jumped

i watched a smile form on your face
i saw the happiness,
it was cute

would you like to hang out sometime?

you suddenly asked
and I think my heart skipped a beat
but I agreed
and we exchanged numbers

before we parted,
you gave my dog one last head rub

i giggled again and you stood up
you looked at me for a moment
then smiled

you began to walk
and then wave goodbye
i did the same
