I pulled out a pair of thinly rimmed glasses and gazed curiously at the object.

"But I've already got glasses...." I mumbled, glancing strangely at Rangiku. She giggled and grabbed my hands, jerking me to my feet.

"Now you~~~~" she lead me to a closet. "Wait in here!" She shut the door and I put my ear too it, listening carefully. There were footsteps, though slight stumbling, whistles and a man's voice.

"Wait! Where are my glasses?" He exclaimed, sounding pretty mad.

The door swung open and before I could fall out, something hit me, knocking me on my back and causing all air to leave my lungs effective immediately. I gasped until I was able to breath normally again as whatever hit me slowly got off.

"Sorry, but you haven't by chance seen my glasses anywhere, have you?" A deep voice asked.

"A-Are these them?" I asked quietly, putting the glasses on his face. He blinked a couple of times as his eyes adjusted. When he looked at me, he looked away again. I didn't blame him. I didn't think I was all that attractive either.

"Yeah..." He mumbled, getting off of me. I sat up, pulling my knees to my chest and setting my chin on my arms, which were crossed over eachother on my knees. He sat in the same spot, three feet away from me.

"You know..." I said quietly, somewhat breaking the silence. "If you asked, they'd probably let you out early.... I know that's what I'd do... If I was stuck in here with myself.... Heck.... I don't even know what we're supposed to do."

I heard shuffling and something heavy and arm went across my shoulders, making me jump.

"I don't mind being in here with you in the least." He said, sitting beside me with his arm over my shoulders. "I'm Uryu."

"Claire..." I whispered, cheeks aflame. "So Uryu... Do you know what we're supposed to do?"

"Well, normally people kiss." He said. I blushed harder and tensed. "But we can stay like this if you want."

"You... You wouldn't mind?" I asked shyly. I saw his white teeth appear in a small smile.

"Of course not. I wouldn't dream of doing anything you weren't comfortable with."

I gave a small, nervous smile back.

"Thank you." I muttered softly. I decided to do something a little brave for once and stretched up, kissing his cheek lightly. "I appreciate it Uryu."

"A-Any time..." He said, his voice cracking slightly. Though he coughed to cover it, I still heard it.

I leaned into his side, setting my head on his shoulder as my bent legs tilted until my knees settled on his lap. My eyes slowly started closing as I listened to his breathing and started dozing off.

"Times up~~" the door opened and I was momentarily blinded from the sudden light.

"Oh my god they're cuddling!" Rangiku's voice squealed. I blushed and buried my face in Uryu's shoulder as he chuckled, rubbing circles in my back.
