Club Searching (Jade/Salvaje)

Jade Chance did what she did whenever her mind wasn't able to handle herselves, sowing clothes. With the club fair starting and overhearing people walking through the halls, she ultimately figured out what creature she wanted to work on next for her clothing design, using the spider as her muse with multiple designs as she went to work on two of them. One for her, the other for Salvaje, hoping he would show up.

Ah, I can't believe I ran away from him, banging her head on the closet nearby. Wait, if I told him I was taking time out of the way to finish this, maybe we could actually talk! Let's take a chance, so eager she smacked herself in the face on accident.

Meanwhile, Salvaje Pagano was searching around for different clubs, all of which he was eager to sign up to, but as his father would tell him, time mattered. Ms. Jones helped guide him as a fellow newcomer, eager to learn as much as well.

"You were a model in France? What are you doing here then?"

"I was mostly sheltered for most of my time. Homeschool has taught me a lot, but there's so many experiences I want to try for once."

"I dunno kid, there's some things I wish no kids would ever have to go through."

"What do you mean?"

"Um," accepting she might have crossed a line. "Don't worry about it. Made any new friends?"

"Well there's someone who I went to school with over the summer that I've met, and I'm looking forward to seeing them earlier. I tried to talk to her earlier, but she kinda ran away."

Ah, young love, she figured. "Do you remember her name?"

"Jade Chance."

"Hmm, doesn't ring a bell." Sal mentioned she wanted to be a fashion designer.

"Oh, that's pretty cool. Wait here, I'll ask around!"

She went around, partly as an excuse to fraternity with different classmates, eventually developing an answer, being told she'd most likely be on the upper floors. The two parted ways while Luke was walking by, taking Shane's advice to heart to explore and casually converse with people. Though he had little success, no one was malicious. That was until he saw Luke, and changed course to follow him.

Salvaje quietly snuck into the room where Jade was working. She was already hard at work, weaving and constructing part of the shirts. There wasn't a reason why he would want to interrupt her, especially not with that passionate look on her face.

"Sal's gonna love this," spinning around so fast she didn't notice his arrival. "I can't wait for him to see it," clumsily slipping it out of her with a joyous cheer and landed straight on him.

"S-sa-sa-Sal?!"

She took a good look at his model round face that held his rosy tinker cheeks, light emerald green eyes, fair, skinned, and handsome, all the more for it. She had only conjured up what was essentially a half baked vest of black and orange he gelled with pretty quickly.

"I kinda like it. I'm sure I'll love it when you're done."

She would have fainted from his words, but the imaginary being in her head, she thought it was her conscious, pulled her up and told her to get back in the game. "Wow, I could kiss. I mean tip you for that."

"Nonsense, your brain is a creative palette." I just wish, "other people could see that."

"Your dad wants the best for you. I can't blame him," tip-toeing how she talked about his obvious discomfort, " for what he thinks."

"He's a stubborn old man who thinks he knows better even when he's wrong!" The young French male stopped himself from slapping the table. "Sometimes it feels like I'm just a little hamster held prisoner in the den of a serpent."

Jade gulped. How the heck do I respond to that? With humor, no I'm not funny. With honesty, cuz's damn right he is. The worst mom and dad do is ask when and why I come home late! Lady ladybug, mentally praying for the best possible outcome, please grant me the luck to get through this without screwing up. Amen!

"Well that serpent must be a cyborg because his den is loaded with more tech than the Musee des Arts et Metiers."

That got a chuckle out of him. "He could probably buy the building if he wanted too," until he realized who he was talking to."I shouldn't be complaining. And the boy who has everything he could've ever wanted. There's so many people that would love to be in my position."

She shook her head. "No one would ever want to feel miserable, no matter where, or who we're from. Everyone deserves happiness, even you."

"You mean that?"

Luke was right in front of the classroom. Whatever she said was the perfect time to be honest, but he could see her shivering after her bold choice of words. Jade leaned over to spot him.

Luke only gave her a nod, mouthing go for it, with a smile and a thumbs up.

This was her chance to get closer. "It was time to live up to her namesake."

"I," taking a breather. "I broke up with my boyfriend."

"Wait, what? How could anyone break up with you? Was it Luke?"

"It was...well it wasn't anything bad. We just thought it'd be best to call it quits. The spark wasn't there anymore," lowering her head. "And I kinda wanted to ask you something."

"There's something I've been meaning to tell you too. I actually just broke up with my girlfriend the other day. What are the odds?"

"You and Sakura broke up?"

"More like Sakura broke up with me," admitting that with little regrets. "I could've handled some things between us better, I admit."

Well, she argued there regarding her and Luke. "We can talk about it another time, if you're ready of course. There's something I've been meaning to ask you for a while."

"What is it?"

All she had to do was say three words she's been wanting to say for almost four years at this point. She had anticipated a moment like this, but finding out he was also recovering from breaking up with a partner left her rambling as usual about what to do.

"Model my clothes!"

Luke and Salvaje were initially lost until the former smiled and the latter grinned.

There you go.

"I'd love to. Can I join your club?"

"Sure, but are there going to be other people to join?"

"Well," seeing an influx of people walk in.

"Wait, Salvajo Pagano is here?"

"OMG, he's like the next Harry Styles."

A crowd of girls and certain others caused more commotion, forcing Sal to deal with the approaching crowd, separating him from Jade.

"Um, everyone, how about you sign up for Fashion Club, and I'd be happy to talk to you. Where's the sign up sheet?"

It got thrown to him. Luke gave them a peace sign wave before heading out.

A few people were attracted to Jade's clothing. Some were naturally confused, but others found it interesting, claiming they wanted to learn how to sow and make clothes.

"Sure! Glad to have you all on board!"
