It is no fun, to wake up and find
a floor covered in fields of the mind.

Especially in a dark filled room,
where a light is needed to see through the gloom. 

One might say evasive action is needed, 
in order to come out having succeeded.

So, proceed with caution through the maze
and try not to fall into a daze.

Watch where you step!
For you don't want to misstep.

Ouch! I fall to the floor 
having almost made it to the door.

I'm crying out of pain and not out of joy,
