School has ended. What to do?
At least there is no homework due.
Go to the beach, hang out with friends,
or just stay home. Why must summer end?

At the beach there's sand and ocean,
Let's try not to cause a commotion.
Build a sandcastle or two
Maybe even relax or go swimming, too.

Hanging out with friends can get quite boring
If all you guys do is see who's snoring.
There's lots of activities to be had
Hanging out with friends can't all be bad.

If you choose to stay home instead of going out
Make sure you do something fun, like workout.
You can read, play games, or even sleep
As long as you remember to sweep.

Summer can be fun, that much is true.
So, let's make the most of it before we say adieu
Summers only here for a short time
Then we go back to it being school time.
