My Life as a Zebra
The wind rushes through my mane
As I gallop across the plain.
Oh, how I love the wind so
It seems to follow me wherever I go.
Nothing pleases me more,
Than being amoungset those I adore.
Frolicking through the tall grass,
The others let me pass.
A Zebra's life is unusually hard,
We must constantly be on our guard,
We know not what lurks near the pond,
Ready to pounce on us from beyond.
I like to travel up to the mountain,
To watch the water go down like a fountain.
It flows into our watering hole,
Filling up like a giant bowl.
A Zebra's life is not without frolic and fun,
Staying out and soaking up the sun,
We live our lives in the great outdoors,
And everything we need is supplied to us,
From the Earth Mother's lode.
