You'd imagine she'd get peace, but fate has a strong distaste to (Y/n)'s needs. The long cry of her door, begging to be oiled, disrupted the peace she once held so tightly. Her grip loosened as Molly yanked her out of her bed. (Y/n) released a long whine, her tired body only started to respond when she was halfway off the bed.

"Come on! We're going to the lake to do some swimming and stargazing." Molly whined, continuing to tug. (Y/n) huffed and got up, her body missing the warmth already.

"Do I need to bring—"

"No, we're going skinny dipping. Now come on!" Molly continued to tug. (Y/n) somehow managed to slip on her shoes before getting shoved out the door. Quickly, Tom came into view. With Tom there, (Y/n) knew that the others would be coming as well.

"Now just stay quiet. The lady at the front desk leaves in 5 minutes. We'll have to take the stairs and the emergency exit. I stole a key so we'll be able to get back in." Tom explained, quietly. Molly nodded and gave her a thumbs up to reassure her. Giving in, (Y/n) followed them through and out of the resort hotel.

Outside the group gathered together. Erin even had her boyfriend coming with them. However, to (Y/n)'s extreme displeasure, the Bonnie and Clyde of the school snuck out the fire escape beside them.

"You guys are going out too?" Evan asked, a wide smirk on his lips. Tiffany smirked back at him and nodded.

"Damn straight. Now let's get going before someone catches us out front." Tiffany said, starting to lead the way through the woods. As they walked, the boys were whispering about "pretty pussy" and "free cake". (Y/n) tried her best to ignore it, but she knew that even if she didn't want to strip, her clothes would be torn off her if she said no.

The walk was excruciatingly long for (Y/n)'s unavoidable damnation in the lake. Erin was clung to her boyfriends side, whispering in his ear. Molly and Tom were grabbing at each other, making soft pleads to each other that (Y/n) could barely make out.

Suddenly, a strong grasp on her ass made her gasp in surprise and turn on her heel quickly. (Y/n) lost the ground beneath her feet and slipped. Luckily, William caught her, despite having been the one to put her in this position.

"Ooooo~? What's going on here~?" Molly purred, finding the situation to look incriminating. (Y/n) quickly got on her feet and scooted away from William.

"Nothing's going on, I-I just slipped." (Y/n) half explained, knowing Molly wouldn't care that William had scared her after groping her without consent. Thankfully, Molly was quick to let it go with an eye roll and turned her focus back on Tom.

As the lake came into view a loud gasp was heard throughout the group. A growl left Molly and she rolled her eyes once more, before turning around and facing the group.

"We forgot towels!" Molly whined, stamping her foot, ready to through a tantrum. Tiffany laughed and rolled her eyes, patting Molly on the back.

"Don't worry, I'll run back and get some. You guys go ahead and get in!" Tiffany laughed before running back off down the trail. Molly seemed much more content and began to strip. The others were quick to follow and as they did so, (Y/n) realized something. Nobody had their phones. Just flashlights.

A wave of relief washed over (Y/n), though she wasn't safe, she wasn't getting blackmailed any time soon. Though it wouldn't surprise her if there was a nude of some kind of her on the internet somewhere. Her father wasn't a very good man after all.

After another deep breath, (Y/n) joined everyone, beginning to strip herself of her clothes. She stacked her clothes and shoes sloppily to the side and got in quickly before any of the guys could have too much of a look. On the other hand, Molly, Erin, and Maddy were showing off, parading around.

"Who wants a fireball?!" William called to the group. Everyone else still on shore while (Y/n) was in the water. She knew gators and crocodiles weren't ever in this area and the other night, she even did her research on animals in the area and wolves weren't even an animal you'd spot out here. It was mostly deers and snakes, wolves tend to avoid populated areas and picnic tables like the ones out here.

(Y/n) also wouldn't be lying when she said that skinny dipping was a wonderful feeling. It was comforting to be embraced by the warmth of lake. It was also more comforting knowing it was dark enough for no one to take any sneaky glimpses of her naked body. The moonlight was all she needed though to see her way in and out of the water though.

Splashing was soon to catch her attention. When (Y/n) turned, she found William swimming next to her, holding two small bottles: the fire balls he offered after she had already swam out. (Y/n) took one and muttered her thanks, though she didn't drink it.

"You swam pretty far out. Figured you'd be scared." William said, grabbing her shoulder and rubbing it. (Y/n) cringed and moved his hand away.

"I'm not scared. I did my research on this area anyway. The only thing we'll find is a snake, but the waters a little too cold for them now, not to mention this lake doesn't host anything they'd feed off of." (Y/n) explained, trying to bore him off. Unfortunately, anything she seemed to do was a turn on for him.

"You should tell me more while you're floating on your back. While you're talking, I'll have you moaning as I eat you out~." William purred, moving his hand down, but (Y/n) was quick to kick away from him.

"Can you stop it?! I'm not interested in you!" She growled at the persistent kid. William growled and grabbed (Y/n), pushing her down, trying to scare her. Fortunately, it worked, but not in the way William wanted it to. He wanted her to submit to him, instead she went further down and swam off to join the other's company.

The breeze made Tiffany feel as if her pace had quickened. She had grabbed the towels successfully without getting caught, now all that was left was to get back to the group. Tiffany listened to the hoots of owls and the chirping of bugs. She scoffed at the annoying sounds and stomped on the next insect in her sight.

Tiffany lifted her foot to find the guts and crippled body of a grasshopper, twitching. She rolled her eyes and with one more step, she twisted her heel before continuing on her path. Tiffany wasn't one for nature, finding it all annoying and gross. She much preferred the city and clean spaces.

Unfortunately for her though, her mother wanted her to go on this trip and discover her calling in nature. But the only thing that called for her while she was outside was the building she came out of. The only thing Tiffany has enjoyed was the view, nothing more or nothing less. She missed her fiancé, but she always talked about moving out here so Tiffany wanted to give it a try.

Tiffany wasn't any nicer than Molly though, and perhaps she was worse. In fact, Tiffany had pretended to spill her drink onto (Y/n) at dinner, just to get her to leave.

"That Brian guy was way too nice to a freak like her..." she muttered under her breath. And being this jealous person of (Y/n), she only grabbed towels for everyone except (Y/n). "If (Y/n) wants a towel, she'll get one of the boys after they've rubbed their dick on it."

Tiffany was quite happy with herself. Perhaps her acts here would finally scare (Y/n) away from her fiancé. Though (Y/n) and her fiancé are nerdy friends, Tiffany was in the same classes as them and would be more than happy to intimidate (Y/n) away. Maybe she was jealous, but Tiffany just didn't like (Y/n): she was way too boring, but Molly did have (Y/n) do her work for her.

She rolled her eyes. That's the only reason (Y/n) was here, she blackmailed Molly into letting her come. If (Y/n) hadn't come, her fiancé surely would've been invited and gosh did Tiffany want some good pussy. Course, she didn't want to cheat, she wouldn't think for a second of using one of the others as a replacement. In fact, Molly was appalled by lesbians and only knows Tiffany's fiancé as her second best friend. But Tiffany loved Molly nonetheless.

The wind seemed to change and discomfort settled quickly into Tiffany's flesh. She hated nature and the abrupt staticky silence was not helping. Her pace quickened as the wind seemed to blow faster. There was only trees in her line of vision, no path. Tiffany had made a wrong turn somewhere and she hadn't noticed.

"Shit..." Tiffany muttered, turning around, searching for the path. When she couldn't find one, she just rolled her eyes and continued forth, toward the direction of the moon. A noise seemed to follow her and she began to wonder what kind of insect could make that sound.

The sound was staticky and it was long before it was hurting her ears, giving her a headache. Tiffany groaned and continued her quick pace, though the sound of a twig snapping caught her by surprise. When she turned around, her eyes wide in fear, she saw nothing.

Tiffany shook her head, but when she turned back around, the fear returned. There in front of her stood a tall man, possibly ten feet tall. This man held a silent stare with a lack of facial features. He wore a black suit, with a white dress shirt, and a blood red tie pulling it all together.

She sucked in a sharp breath and turnt back around to make a run for it. Though when she started running, she almost slipped whilst turning on her heel once more. There was someone else. A man in a mustard yellow hoodie with a black masking that held a red frowned face.

Today was the first time in Tiffany's life she'd felt true fear. Sure, she'd fought a few people and her parents had jokingly scared her, but now she was in the middle of nowhere with two potential attackers. Either could easily do what they pleased with her. However, what they wanted to do with her wasn't answered yet.

A sense of deja vu abruptly hit Tiffany as a stone path came into view. Where she remembered this path from, she couldn't tell, but she could only hope it would lead her to her friends. Heck, even now she'd be plenty happy to run into (Y/n).

The run up the trail felt heavy on her limbs, her body starting to ache. Perhaps she wasn't in the greatest shape, but a simple straight forward run should have no effect on her. Tiffany found the whole situation strange and terrifying. If the yellow hooded man wasn't blocking the direction she had came, maybe she could've run back and warned the staff of the danger.

However, Tiffany was now running from two strange men (she assumed the person in the hood was also a male) and she had no idea where she was. The static was getting louder though, and her fear was making her cry. But then a new sound graced the air. In any other situation perhaps she'd be happy to hear a new sound other than birds and bugs, but in any situation she'd never be happy to hear a gun shot.

Fortunately, she hadn't been hit by anything and she was still running straight forward. Tiffany was slowly starting to regret coming here, much preferring being snuggled up in her lover's arms. Though, no one in the right mind would want to be hunted down and potentially killed.

The heavier weigh of gravity and the deja vu was starting to come together to the tired racing mind of Tiffany. This was the hill that lead to the cliff over the lake. That's why it was harder to run up. Though this brought forth a grander problem. She was now stuck at the edge of a cliff with no where to go.

Tiffany stared off the edge, turning to see if there was anyone there. She wondered if there was a chance she could run off to the side and not get caught. Her thought was sliced through mid air unfortunately. The loud bang vibrating her brain as bee vision blurred and pain filled her body.

The hands covered the fresh wound and removed themselves, Tiffany's jaw trembling at the sight of blood. In her blurred vision she saw two figures appear, one yellow, one black with a blur of red and white. Something from the darker figure shot out and brought more pain to Tiffany's body.

The sound of gurgling was the last thing to grace her slowly deafening ears. Her bloody slowly crept past her lips and dripped down her chin. Her impaled body slipped delicately off of the black tendril from the being. Tiffany crumpled down helplessly before the weight of her carcass made her slip.

Her body fell, a chill burning away the last of her nerves. Tiffany's eyes closed as she embraced the darkness. At least now, she didn't feel pain and she couldn't cause anymore.

A loud splash caught the young adults by surprise. A more curious boy swam out to find the source of the loud splash. (Y/n) had finished her fireball with William as he had continued to pester her about it. Though, seeing as William was distracted with the racket caused by the splash, she got out of the water and used her hoodie to dry off, seeing as Tiffany hadn't brought back towels.

A sudden loud scream from Evan caught her attention. (Y/n) got dressed and saw the boy pulling something through the water. Her eyes widened when the thing was pulled close enough into view.

"Tiffany!"

The group paced around, panicked and just filled to the brim with terror. Molly and Erin were crying, the guys terrified, Maddy and (Y/n) just shocked. Everyone was just scared and no one knew what to do.

"I say we should just leave her. Someone will find her and we'll be Scott free as long as we stay quiet." William explained, his voice trying its best to not shake.

"Are you kidding me?! She's my best friend! I'm not going to leave her here!"

"She is dead Molly!" Evan screamed at the popular girl. "She's fucking dead and we're going to be next if we don't get out of this forest!"

(Y/n) took in a deep breath. She wanted to say that this incident felt familiar, but it wasn't. However, there needed to be a voice of reason here and everyone was way too scared to do that. Unfortunately, (Y/n) would have to be that voice of reason.

"They're both right," she started. "We should leave her, it was probably some hunting accident from a neighboring home. Unfortunately, if we said anything though we might get suspected of and tried for years on end. It is our best bet now to return to the resort and wait for someone else to find the body."

Molly let out a loud sob and held her face in her hands. Tom looked like he wanted to comfort her, but was too busy tried to hold back his vomit at the sight of Tiffany's carcass. Maddy was just nodding along to everything (Y/n) said, even after she stopped speaking. Erin and her boyfriend were just holding each other.

"She's right. Let's go back." Erin's boyfriend said loudly. It took a moment of convincing, but they soon were traveling back together to their rooms. Everyone was terrified and, to say the least, upset.

It was difficult for the group to go to sleep that night, the image of the impaled girl running through everyone's head. Even Tom and Molly who had sex every night barely made a peep that night. (Y/n) had sunk herself into the corner of the shower, just thinking.

The idea of a monster in these woods was once a childish, paranoid thought. But now someone was dead, and that hole in her chest was way too big to be a simple misfire.

The group wasn't the only one crying that night as Mr. Edwards laid back in the tub, crying and smoking. He had the feeling one of his students had died and in the morning he'd know right away. The night turned into the time of mourning and sleep almost alluded them.

Luckily, a monster put a sleeping fog into the vents of the resort. It wasn't long before everyone was passed out. Who this monster was, almost no one had a clue. But now, now was the night they'd all begin to live in fear.

But fear will not save them.
