What time it was when Principal Antonia arrived, the students hadn't the slightest clue. All they knew was that Mr. Edwards was now missing and Antonia was staying for the rest of the trip. The students tried their best to avoid him.
(Y/n), however, now knew what Principal Antonia meant when he said that they'll meet an acquaintance of his. (Y/n) realized that Principal Antonia was a friend of the resort owner. She shivered as she sat at the table with her usual group, William on her right and Molly on her left. Erin was at the table, sitting with her boyfriend, looking quite shaken up. Not even her boyfriend knew why.
The table was oddly silent as they all ate, it was bothering them, but no one wanted to speak, there were ears listening after all. Soon though, (Y/n) and Erin got up to get more food. Usually their group would make comments on their weight but the silence stuck as they made their way to the counter.
Suddenly, (Y/n) stopped Erin halfway. Erin's fear filled gaze still stuck to her features. (Y/n), however, looked worried. Neither girl realized they caught a few older men's attention.
"Is everything ok Erin? You can tell me." (Y/n) said, the words bringing slight comfort to Erin as she lowered her head slightly. Slowly, Erin glanced around before looking back at (Y/n).
"M-Mr. Edwards came and got me last night. Then the owner came and lead him away... I heard him scream but all I could do was run. Now Mr. Edwards is gone... I can only assume he's dead." Erin sobbed silently. "I just want to get out of here."
(Y/n) gave Erin a hug, which the girl gladly returned. Anyone who didn't know them could only assume they were friends. (Y/n) decided now was the best time as ever to speak to tell Erin about her plan.
"Meet me in my room tonight. Molly and Tom will be there too." Erin nodded before they both went to the counter together, getting more food and talking about some stupid joke Erin's boyfriend made to lighten the mood. Of course, there was still the silent fear drawing in on them, but they did their best to ignore it.
As the two of them headed back to the table, the principal himself approached the two girls. He had a glare on his features and he looked ready to kill the two.
"You two. Follow me. Now." Fear sunk into the women as they set their trays down before slowly following the principal. Both girls very aware of the blonde older man following close behind them and aware of the two older men's... history, per say.
(Y/n) began to think her prayers, praying for the worst to not happen. Erin was sobbing as she followed, her fear already clawing her from the inside out. Suddenly, (Y/n) realized that they were headed toward the hall, where the rooms were and stopped dead in her tracks, making Erin stop as well and pulling her away from what felt like a walk to death row.
"Where are we going?" (Y/n) demanded, protective arms wrapped around Erin. Perhaps it was just maternal as to why she was being so protective of the fearful woman, but that didn't matter. Their lives were both potentially in danger.
"My office." Richard stated to the women, though his eyes and a bulge in his pants communicated otherwise.
"Your office is back there. And you haven't any reason to bring us to your office anyway." (Y/n) challenged, backing up, forcing Erin to as well. Principal Antonia glared at them.
"You've stolen something—"
"And what proof do you have of that?!" When the men fell silent, that was enough to prove that they were just trying to get them alone with them. "That's what I thought."
(Y/n) gently pushed Erin to head back in the direction they came from before (Y/n) was abruptly put into a headlock by Principal Antonia. Richard grabbed Erin and dragged her, for she didn't fight much. Her vision was starting to go black as she slowly lost oxygen. (Y/n) struggled hard against Principal Antonia and even tried screaming, but neither worked. When she finally fainted, the last thing she saw was a glimpse of a red tie.
When (Y/n) awoke she found herself in her room with a headache. She couldn't remember anything that happened, though a weight beside her told her she wasn't alone. A soft humming from a male voice was filling the room with a gentle tune, though laced with light static. It almost made (Y/n) want to close her eyes and go back to sleep.
However, that's not what happened. Instead, her heart raced in fear as she squinted her eyes shut, breathing heavily and trembling. She wasn't cold, nor sweaty, so she knew she wasn't naked or even raped; but she also wasn't alone. A gentle hand brushed cold fingers across her warm skin, caressing her cheek, bringing warmth to the chilling skin.
"A bad dream?" The person muttered, their voice deep. He wrapped himself around (Y/n), head burrowed in her neck. She tensed as she felt cold skin press against her own, though knowing it was a face, the fear of getting bitten filled her.
(Y/n) felt warm tears prick her eyes, fearing the worst, unsure of the future. The only thing she could do now was try to make a run for it. She shifted slightly and slowly, trying to make it seem like she was still asleep, but when the person just pulled her closer, she knew she'd just have to fight.
When she opened her eyes, she laid face to face with a faceless man in a suit. Ignoring that and focusing on escape, (Y/n) quickly struggled out of his grasp and kicked him when he tried to grab her again. She quickly escaped the bed and ran for the door only to be grabbed at the ankle. (Y/n) kicked and crawled, trying to get it off as the creature slowly approached.
"Leave me alone!" (Y/n) cried as she pried the tendril off her ankle and ran out the door. She almost screamed when she saw Molly and Tom sitting on a bloody couch with their guts spilling out and Tom's head turnt backwards.
She covered her mouth as the tears continued drowning her vision. When (Y/n) turned to run once more, she found the creature, standing tall in her room. Terrified, she turned and went to find somewhere to hide or even a weapon.
Before she could get out of reach, a tendril spiraled around her and trapped her body in a firm hold. A cry left her as she sobbed aloud. (Y/n) soon gave in, sobbing and waiting for pain.
"J-just make it quick..." she muttered, squeezing her eyes tight and waiting for death. Instead, she felt her body being moved before being lowered onto a soft surface. When (Y/n) opened her eyes, she found herself on her bed and the creature staring down at her. "Wh-what do you want...?"
"I want you." The creature simply replied, making (Y/n) tense. In a moment of discomfort and fear, (Y/n) pulled the blanket over her body, not wanting the thing to touch her in any inappropriate way. This action made the creature scoff. "Not like that."
(Y/n) stared at the creature and had to bite her hand to stop her from screaming when he approached her. Long and slow movements toward her. Her breathing quickened as she scooted away. A tendril shot out and wrapped around her ankle, another grabbing one of her wrists.
"Ms. (L/n) you have a wonderful scent and a wonderful body. I've also been told that you have a wonderful mind. You've become an addition in the short time I've watched you. I want you. And when I want something, I get it." The creature said, caressing her cheek.
(Y/n) tried to pull away, but soon gave up after finding she wouldn't be able to escape him. The tears, however, continued to race down her cheeks and sobs were still the only sounds escaping her lips.
"Now. Here's what's going to happen. You'll be here for another two days. First, however, you're going to run downstairs and report your two dead friends. Second, you're going to continue to be in these hysterics. Third, you will not speak a word of this encounter. Finally, at the end of the week, you will be returning with me to my home where you'll be staying for a long time." The creature explained, keeping her head tilted up at him using a long finger. "Understood?"
"Y-yes sir." (Y/n) stammered. The creature then placed a lipless kiss on her forehead.
"It is Slenderman, my dear. Slender for short."
(Y/n) sat in the lounge, balling her eyes out as she mourns the loss of two people she was friends with. Unfortunately, there was no police, apparently, there had been destruction on the road from the huge storm that had hit them the night before. Though (Y/n) knew nothing of a huge storm, she knew of the rain.
This was all a scheme: at least that's what she'd found out. The principal and the owner worked for the creature– Slenderman.
(Y/n) felt sick to her stomach as she was comforted by Mrs. Maverick. No one would ever know the trauma she'd been through. They'll all be dead by the time this trip was over after all. No one was leaving alive. Except for her.
Guilt built up in her chest, why she had to be the one to live was beyond her. She hated every moment of this, dreading the unimaginable. What this creature truly wants from her, she doesn't know. What life was now awaiting her, she didn't know either. Perhaps she'd just be a slave, and nothing beyond that.
Perhaps a part of her was ok with that though; it was just the life she had before after all. No, she could never be ok with that. People have died for her to end up his slave. If she was just there to clean and get yelled at, perhaps she'd feel ok about it. However, this thing wanted all of her and sounded very intent on continuing smelling her scent.
The feeling of being used was always one that brought (Y/n) great discomfort. Now, she'd feel it 24/7 and she wasn't even just being kidnapped off the street. Molly was dead, Tom was dead, and (Y/n) had reason to believe Tiffany and Mr. Edwards death had something to do with the creature as well.
For now, all (Y/n) could do was hide in Mrs. Mavericks arms, waiting for a solution. The only idea was to escape: but how?
The death of Molly and Tom was a shocking news to everyone. Though, Erin was the most surprised. (Y/n) had seemed so nice: how could she do this? Even William, who had told everyone he was dating (Y/n), was shocked. How could she do this to their group?
Perhaps she wasn't the one to kill the couple directly, but it still happened in her room when she was alone. (Y/n) could have an accomplice; and by the way Mr. White and Principal Antonia looked at her, they could only assume she was some whore getting dirty money off of horny older men.
The whole innocent dramatic cry only fueled their sorrow and anger. She was quite the actress. If she hadn't been such a poor friend to Molly, then they'd probably believe it. This was why she black mailed Molly: to kill her. Tom was probably just in the way.
The group sat at their table, talking about all their hatred toward the nobody who had joined their group. Words like she was too ugly, too much of a teacher's pet, too lame, too this, too that.
It wasn't long before William went off to the bathroom and Brian followed. William got into the nice bathroom and shut the door, locking it behind him. As soon as Brian heard him turn and begin to piss, he slid the note beneath the door and walked off to 'use another restroom'.
The sudden presence of a crumbled piece of paper caught William's attention after he turned to leave. Drying his hands, he knelt down to see if it was just some garbage or important. As he read the note, his heart sank and he quickly picked it up and rushed out of the bathroom, note in hand.
Arriving back at their table, William slammed the note down. Erin flinched and Erin's boyfriend was quick to raise his voice, upset that William scared his girlfriend.
"You have to read this." William demanded, shoving the crumbled page toward the loyal boyfriend. Erin leaned over and read the page as well. He cleared his throat before reading the note aloud.
"ᕼE TOOK ᕼEᖇ. ᕼE TOOK ᗰY GIᖇᒪᖴᖇIEᑎᗪ. ᗰY ᗷEᔕT ᖴᖇIEᑎᗪ Iᔕ ᑎOᗯ OᑌT TᕼEᖇE TᗩKIᑎG TᕼE ᔕᗩᗰE ᑭᗩGEᔕ ᔕᕼE ᗪIᗪ. I'ᐯE ᖴOᑌᑎᗪ ᗩ ᗯᗩY TO ᔕᑌᗰᗰOᑎ TᕼIᔕ ᑕᖇEᗩTᑌᖇE. ᑕOᒪᒪEᑕT ᕼIᔕ ᑭᗩGEᔕ ᗩᑎᗪ ᗷEG ᖴOᖇ YOᑌᖇ ᖴᖇIEᑎᗪᔕ ᒪIᖴE. ᑎOᗯ I ᗰᑌᔕT GO. Iᖴ YOᑌ'ᖇE ᖇEᗩᗪIᑎG TᕼIᔕ, I ᔕᑌᑕᑕEEᗪEᗪ."
The group exchanged glances, silence filling the table. Then, they nodded and turned toward (Y/n). They knew what they must do.
"Erin. You're in charge of bringing (Y/n) to the campfire, we are going page searching." William said sternly before they split up to go to their rooms.
(Y/n) was still sitting on the couch when night had came. She ended up talking to Brian for a few hours before he got shooed away by the principal. When principal Antonia sat beside her, she was automatically tense.
Looking around, she knew automatically that she was alone. With him. When his hand gripped her thigh, fear stabbed her in the heart. She knew what could happen and she'd have no escape.
"It was a shame what happened to Tom and Molly. They were both wonderful from what I hear. A waste of potential Molly was, she could've at least lived up to her name and get her pay on the side of the road." (Y/n) felt disgust crawl up her spine as she struggled to hold back a gag of disgust for the man. "You're both beautiful. It's a shame he's killed one and claimed the other."
"Wouldn't he be upset you're touching me?" (Y/n) replied, not wanting anymore contact from this creepy older man. Especially one she knew the intentions of. The man just rolled her eyes and slipped his hand down between her thighs. "Stop."
"I don't think I—"
"Excuse me, Principal Antonia, but I need to talk to (Y/n)." Erin said to the man, messing with her hand, clearly remembering her first encounter with him. The principal grumbled and nodded before walking off to the office. As soon as he disappeared behind that wooden door, (Y/n) sighed in relief.
"Thank you, Erin, I thought he'd never leave me alone." Erin gave her a fake smile, and for a moment she felt guilty. (Y/n) was nothing but nice to her, and just like she once did, (Y/n) needed her help. But she knew Molly longer, and she wasn't sure who to trust.
"Come on, everyone wants to try and leave before any of the adults get back." Erin made up, taking (Y/n)'s wrist. (Y/n) eagerly complied, that's when Erin realized she was scared. Of what? Or who? She didn't know. But the guilt inside of her was growing and she was beginning to feel uncomfortable with this idea William had.
It probably took 5 minutes before they were in the middle of the woods and the group was there. (Y/n) seemed paranoid, glancing around, clearly looking for somebody or something. While she had her head turned away, Erin's boyfriend knocked her out and William caught her body.
"She's heavier than I thought she'd be." William grunted as he dragged her over to stump and began to rid of her clothing while Erin began to spread out the pages around (Y/n)'s unconscious body.
That's when William began to chant and Erin's heart sank. Why were they doing this to her? Erin couldn't remember as the guy's chants grew louder and louder. Her heart beat quickened and tears filled her eyes.
"G-guys are we sure—?!" Erin stopped talking as a tall man appeared in front of her. She releases a cry before falling back. The creature stared at them, resentment surrounding it. Her heart pounded as she turned her head, seeking help from her boyfriend and William.
"We want our friends back." William demanded of the creature. The thing tilted it's head as long black tendrils protruded out of its back. Erin's hear sunk to her stomach as she stated up in fear of what the creature would do. "We give you the girl in trade."
A black tendril wrapped suddenly around William's waist and Erin quickly crawled back and her boyfriend gently grasped her arms, ready to pull her up as she watched William get brought closer to the creature. Then, a bone chilling rip was heard and a mouth appeared on the creatures face before large teeth were revealed and about to sink into William—
Erin woke up in a cold sweat. Her boyfriend quick to wrap his arms around her drowsily. He grumbled comfort into her shoulder as he began to drift off once more. Erin was tense as she felt her body, wondering if she was dead— if William was dead.
As soon as her boyfriend fell back asleep, she left her room and made her way down the hall. Wanting to see if this had truly just been a dream. Her heart racing as she approached the exit.
When the door came to view and she confirmed no one was around, she released a sigh of relief before sucking in another fearful breath for confidence. As soon as she tried to tug open the door, her heart sank...
The door didn't open; they were trapped.
