Chapter 6 - Revealing
-Chapter 6-
~Tys POV-
...On the cheek, of course.
Just the same, I felt a warm, flushed feeling flood onto my cheeks, and I raised my hands, covering them embarrassingly.
He just chuckled at this, taking one of my hands away from my face and beginning to pull me in the other direction. A tingly feeling ran up my arm, and I could feel my blush increasing dramatically.
This was too many new emotions. Never truly knowing the world, I didn't understand anything that I was feeling. It was a warm, almost happy, and carefree. The only feeling I had been conditioned to grow up with was sadness ; I didn't believe there was anything else...
But here I was, my heart beating faster than normal, almost as if I had just been running. But I hadn't, so what was happening to me?
I don't understand this, I didn't understand anything, and I was getting more and more frightened...
"Ty?" Skys grip on my fingers tightened, and he halted in his place, turning to me with worry in his eyes. "Are you okay? You didn't answer my question."
-Skys POV-
Oh god, he's so cute. He stares up at me, wide, brown eyes seemingly suspended in time. He seems to be debating how to answer me, and explain what had happened.
I felt bad, to be honest. I already had a massive cruch on this boy, but it was based entirely on looks. However, he didn't show any signs of being a heartless jerks, and he was quite polite to me throughout the whole ordeal earlier, so it's possible he might actually be quite nice.
I pray to God that my parents don't chase him away. No, actually, I pray to god that he has no choice but to stay with me. That might sound bad mbut Im dying for a chance to know him better.
This is that chance.
"S-Sorry," he spoke finally, raising the hand that I wasn't holding and wiping away at his eyes. "I was lost in thought."
I grinned at his cuteness, and began walking once more, feeling Ty keep a steady rythme in times with my steps.
The rest of the trip was spent in silence, something I sensed Ty needed badly. Every once and a while, in his lost state of mind, his finger would clutch mine a little tighter, which I promptly returned in a loving squeeze.
"Here we are!" I finally cried, stopping short in front of our house. Ty stood right next to me, gazing up at our large, blue, two story house.
"Come on!" I cried happily, running and pulling him behind me with a stifled gasp.
I pushed open the wooden door impatiently, dying to get into my room so I could push him down and demand to know everything about him.
"MOM!" I cried, knowing she either wouldn't hear, or just wouldn't care. A lazy "Yeah?' Came from the living room, and I knew it would be the latter.
"I HAVE A FRIEND, HES GOING TO BE STAYING WITH US FOR A FEW DAYS!" I cried nonchelontly, kicking off my shoes and referencing for Ty to do with same with his old, mud covered ones.
"Yeah, yeah, fine." Came her response, and I grabbed Tys arm, once again dragging him forcefully. Up the stares we darted, into the long corddidor of our large house.
"Wow..." Ty mumbled, looking around him in wonder. You'd think he's never been in a house before.
A frown tugged at my face. He has...hasn't he?
"Hey, let's go into my room." I persuaded, nudging him into my door. He nodded quickly, following me into the large bedroom.
When we entered, I didn't give him any time to comment. I pushed him back, watching him fall onto my bed with a squeak, and sat next to him.
"Okay," I said, my expression hard as steal. "Tell me your story..."
His eyes widened, and he looked away from me, a few tears coming to the edges of his eyelids. No way, he's gonna cry...
"Hey," I whispered, a lot softer, turning his head towards me and gently wiping at the salty water. "I'm sorry. I'm just worried about you."
He took a deep breath, still staring at me with wide eyes, before opening his mouth to speak slowly. "I...I am...I am...Susan Ellis' son..."
Without even thinking, I launched my arms around him, pulling him close to my chest and cradling his head with my palm.
"Oh..." I whispered slowly, feeling him beginning to shake with sobs in my hold. "My god..."
I knew the story behind Susan Ellis and his disappearing son ; phill, everyone does. It's a national story, in which the son is kidnapped by his father at a young child, mane was never to be seen again.
And now, here he was, might in front of me, ME, of all people.
"Please..." Came his pleading voice. "Don't rat me out...they'll bring him back...I don't want to see him again..."
...him?
"Whose him?" I asked gently, pulling back so I could look at him, but still holding him, since I could see it brought obvious comfort to him. Well, this explains a lot. He didn't know how dangerous that man was. He didn't understand the police coming up to us. He ran once I asked his reasons.
"My father....he will truly kill me..." Truly, as in take out a gun and shoot him in the head.
I shuddered at the thought.
"Don't you worry," I reassured him, squeezing his body gently. "I'll make sure your life from now on, is as normal as it can possibly be."
Except, maybe, for a little bit of a gay crush on the side...that would be nice.
