Absolutely this night would be their night he would make sure of that Laksh sipped his drink .looking at entrance .Where are they? It's important they attend this party.

"Ragini .. tumne bulaya unhe .. ab tak kyu nahi aaye ?"he asked impatiently

"Haan Laksh ji hume bulaya .. woh kya hain na lagta dono .. busy the" Ragini giggled leaving Laksh more fumed . That's when they walked in Holding hands , glowing faces...Laksh turned his back for another drink Such a sore sight to watch .Though ragini noticed she didn't say word and went to meet them . As Sanskaar asked for laksh.. She pointed towards bar.

"Main abhi aaya"...Swara nodded in consent as Sanskaar made his way towards Laksh leaving Swara Ragini together . A friendly get together of all business associates and their families .. as Sanskaar and Laksh chatted around their business with others ,Swara ragini gelled with spouses of associates .. that's when she walked in .

Swara turned as some held her shoulder ... "Kavitha" Swara exclaimed quickly giving her a hug .. 'Kavita?' .. ragini wondered at familiarity of name .As swara introduced kavita to ragini she was quick to read her and it didn't give her good vibes .Ragini left to attend a call ,that's when

"Bhai .. Ye kavita kya kar rahi hai Swara ke saath". Laksh pointed to Sanskaar and watched with a sly smiled as he saw change in Sanskaar's expressions . All those bitter moments rushed back to Sanskaar , the video, bet ,his heart break..

He wanted to rush to them, but was held by one more associate who just walked in .After a minute Sanskaar eyes looked for them, both nowhere to be found. He felt a strange thug in his heart a sort of fear overtaking him . He went looking round for her...found them in a corner with a troubled expression Kavita looked at Sanskaar and excused herself.

Sanskaar rushed to Swara ."Sab theek hain na Swara ..U ok? aur Kavita kya kar rahi hain yaha par?"

"Kuch nahi Sanskaar woh bahut dino baad milena tho .."

Sanskaar still didn't sound convinced you sure ?.. dekho Swara mujhse kuch chupao mat ..please. Phir se..kuch..."

"Aisa kuch nahi hoga Sanskaar" Assuring him Swara took his hand into hers "Trust me .."

Sanskar looked at her for minute her eyes ..they shone with utmost honesty ... " I do Swara " He quickly dropped a kiss on forehead " I do" .he murmured again and they both joined party together...

Back at home ..

Swara .. pulled out their night dresses .Well party went well .. and the dance was just heavenly Their first dance but a best one though a bit embarrassing at how they were so lost in each other,didn't even realise when the song ended still continued to dance .Who would have known Sanskaar would be this romantic...she blushed at all those sweet nothings he whispered into her ears while dancing. the plans he had for them to night .She was still in her saree ..waiting for him to come in .Eager she looked at door .." Lagta hain kuch office ka call hoga .. aaj se na ghar aane ke baad Sanskaar ka phone bandh kar dungi.. It will just be our time ." .. she smiled to herself as she lit around scented candles in their room .

Nothing can go wrong now. Everything is going to be perfect ..she looked around ..Just a perfect setting .. for a night out .

Then he walked in .

"Kuch zaroori call tha ..itne dher ho gayaa."she walked up to him.. He looked straight into her eyes dark with fury ...Scared she stepped back.

"Kya tumne hamare lawyer se baat kiya" ...his voice was edgy and rough ..

"Sanskaar ..woh main" ...Swara tried to talk ..

"Just answer me damn it ...Did u talk to him about divorce and alimony.? Sirf Haan ya Naa "

Swara looked at him puzzled at him for a second ..She did but it was for kavita..she said she was in a troubled marriage , she seeked her help ..it was to just help her out but .." Haan kiya lekin..Sanskaar ..woh..."

"Bas .. yahi sun na tha ..sunliya ..jab lawyer mujh se phone karke kaha ...I didn't believe him .. kya kaha tumne party main ... Trust me ?.. hain na ! and I did ..I did swara ..lekin kuch log kabhi bdalathe nahi ..na unki fitrat"

"Sanskaar tum kya keh rahe ho ..meri baat tho suno ..woh kavita ..." Swara desperately tried to make him listen but he was not ready

"Phir kavita ...hamesha kavita .. jab bhi hamare saath kuch galat hota waha kavita hoti aur uske saath tum ..kyu Swara ..phir se?.. ..I was fool to let you play with my feelings again .. kya jaroorat thi ye sab natak karne ki ..If all you wanted was a divorce ..Damn it ..you could have asked me ..I would have thrown it on your face ..Zabardasti rishte jodne ka mujhe koi shauk nahi hai Swara...Wait wait! He paused giving a thought "Now I get it ..Then I was not good enough for you ..so you left me and now just for sake of money ..aur dekho hamesha ki tarah main pagal bangaya tumhare pyar main aur ye .. he took out a silver band from his pocket ."I was dreaming of gifting it you tonight"..His eyes flashed with pain as he said " Tumhe pata bhi hain ..I got this for our first valentine's day ..the day you tramped by heart and left me to suffer. Naa ek call ,naa ek msg aur main tumhara intezaar karta raha kitne din kitne mahine aur woh sab tumhara jhoota pyaar ke liye ..Dekho" he held up ring ..It has our names ..Swara ..Sanskaar ..and now .. I don't think we need it.". He threw it with a force as his rage melted into tears .

Swara looked horrified at accusations being hurled upon her and the pain in his voice .What's wrong with him .. how could he even think She would want to go away from him when all she wanted was to be with him ..Why doesn't he listen to her and she dropped him messages, called him ..he didn't want her, he wanted to break up with her.. What does he mean by that ...Did he think it was a pretense all her love for him ..it was fake .. all that happened with them .. all those moments they shared ,even before party ... tears rolled down her cheeks...

"Sanskaar tum mujhe galat samj rahi ho ..ek baar meri." she tried again .

"Exactly swara galt hi tha main .The act of love you put up its ..I almost gave into it waise bhi I don't think i can expect anything from you" There was clear mock and sarcasm in his voice "

"Kya kehna chahti ho tum?" ..she questioned dreading

"Sun na chahithi ho toh suno..yehi ...you slept with me for sake of stupid bet..and whatever happened between them some time back wouldn't have been tough for you to act as well kyunki .." ...he felt sting of slap on his face ..

Time stood still between them as they faced each other broken ..

"Shut up Sanskaar ..Just shut up..." Her voice echoed in their room .. "Kyunki main sunarah hoon that doesn't mean you can accuse me of anything . Haan main baat kiya tha lawyer se ..lekin hamare liye nahi ,kavita ke liye..aur haan bet lagaya tha maine .. Lekin tab woh mera bachpana tha aur uss galati ka ehsaas hain mujhe, tumhare dard ka bhi ..Iss liye main chup thi .Lekin aaj jo tumne kaha .. woh bahut galat hain, tum galat ho ...you are wrong Mr Sanskaar Maheswari ..aur kya kaha tumne ?" She grabbed his collar

"How did you even dare to talk so cheap about our moment..It was a sacred moment for me what we shared that day .I slept with you because I loved u damn it..I LOVED YOU ...I LOVED YOU.. she slapped him again and again ,grabbed back his collar .." uss waqt bhi kiya tha ..aaj bhi karti hoon aur shayad hamesha karti rahungi..I love u Sanskaar .I really do ." Tears streamed out of her eyes .Leaving his collar she wiped them off... "but u know what Sanskaar .."She stepped back reaching her suitcase "I can't stay in a place where I would have to give proof of my love every now and then "..still wiping off tears that didn't seem to stop she threw her clothes into case .. "Mujhe jo kehna tha maine keh diya.." He stood still and watched her leave

Before she left swara turned back at door "Maine message kiya tha Sanskaar , hazaar calls kiye the maine but u wanted to break up with me ..yahi message kiya tha na tumne ki tum mere shala tak dekhna nahi chathe and its over between us .Maine calls kiya the Sanskaar ."

And she left ...Sanskaar stood at same spot trying to process all he heard. And there was one more shadow which lingered for a while .

Next day ..

Swara silently sobbed in her room , her head burrowed into pillow .. that's what he thought of her .. how could he even .. his word rang in her ears piercing her heart but one line echoed again and again "Phir kavita ...hamesha kavita .. jab bhi hamare saath kuch galat hota waha kavita hoti aur uske saath tum .." He was right . Her mind started reeling in .she never gave it thought of who made that video.. Only she and kavita knew of bet clearly and that day .she totally ignored how kavita was playing around with her phone during convo .. God how could she can be so stupid , Sanskaar saw only a part of it .There was more to it and now again Kavita approaching her ..asking not to share her details with lawyer till they met him in person and asking to hide it from Sanskaar .. then call from lawyer .Was it a laid out plan .What did sanskaar mean by he didn't get any messages ..how could that be possible?

Swara wiped her tears... Well she knew where to get her answers.

Sanskaar sat in study room .recalling words of swara . her eyes , her voice as they cracked with pain ..her fury ...and .. her last words ..about calls and messages .. ..he raked his hair in frustration as his heart wants to believe swara but his mind was not letting him . She did accept the bet part ,talking to lawyer as well but something was a miss... . his sim was lost the old number wasn't it? ..he didn't even bother about the same .. but

A knock on door .. Rgaini walked in "Aap se kuch baat karni thi snaskaar"

"Iss waqt nahi ragini ..main.."Sanskaar dismissed her off but shocked as she said "Swara chali gayi na?"

"Tum kaise ?"

Ragini moved around room "Sanskaar aap ne ye suna hoga ..Half the truth is often a whole lie..I think it's time for you know whole truth...Ye dekhiye " .Confused at her statement Sanskaar took phone from her hand clicked play button .

His eyes widened in shock as the same video played again...he looked at ragini

"Haan woh mere bilkul layak nahi hain .. It was Swara's voice " ya phir ye kahu ki main uska layak nahi hoon ... I don't deserve him. I didn't even think twice before placing a bet that I would be playing with someone's feelings.. That too someone like sanskaar jo itna acha hain , jo bina koi shart ki itna pyaar karta hain ..he deserves someone who will love him like the way he does .. not someone like me ..Main ..." her voice choked with pain

"Hey Swara .. tum itna emotional kyu ho rahi ho? ..Kahi tumhe sach main" Kavita questioned

"I don't know kavita ..she lifted her eyes facing the video .."Pata nahi kab ..lekin ..Mujhe sanskaar se pyaar hogaya hain. I really really love him. Jab woh meri taraf dekhta hain tho mujhe ehsaas hota hain ki main khoobsurat ho .. woh mujhe hasaata hain ..Mujhe taklif hoti hain tho uski aankhon main aasu aate hain ..aur .. jab woh hasta hain tho mann karta hain bas usko dekhti hoon reh jaavu .. uski woh dimple Sach main pata nahi kavita ... agar sanskaar mere saath rahega hamesha toh .. I will be the luckiest one .I love him kavita ..I love sanskaar ..lekin darti hoon ki jab usse ...

"Tum uski tension mat lo" kavita assured her .. ye baat kabhi nahi pata chalegi usse .. sirf hamare beech rahegi."

"Nahi kavita sanskaar bahut sensitive hain ..Main nahi chhathi ki usse kahi aur se ..swara expressed her concern

"Don't Worry Swara ..Trust me ..and she trusted her..

Sanksaar lowered the phone with tears in his eyes..She loved him , then and now as well ..and he was stupid, but next minute deadly fury took over him .. that kavita .. his instinct had been right...Uss kavita ko tho but first he needs to talk to swara .As he rushed out of room .. ragini stopped him

"Aap humse ye nahi pooche ki ye video kaha se mili ?..

Sanskaar looked at her puzzled ..and her next words shook him "Laksh ki phone se ...aur ye bhi ..she handover him over a pouch with a sim.. "Ye wahi sim hain jo main swara ko aap ko msg kiya.. Lekin laksh ne unhe kabhi aap tak pahuch ne nahi diya.."

Ragini told him how she caught him talking over to kavita few times , and how kavita was blackmailing him about leaking the full video to sanskaar ..That day in party when swara were sanskar were dancing .she followed laksh who excused himself and met kavita , that's when he heard their convo about some lawyer and ...Laksh mention about his sim too .

Somehow she managed to get them both last night as laksh drunk celebrating their break up and gave in few details in semi conscious state .

Sasnkaar stumbled backwards .. of all, his cousin whom is considered more than brother his lucky ..."Lekin Kyu ragini?"

A slap resounded in hall of MM ..

"Maa" Laksh looked at Annapurna his mom who never said a word to him .." Mat kaho mujhe maa .. itni nafrat Laksh aur woh bhi usse bhai ke liye jo tumhare jaan chidakta hain .U didnt even think twice to destroy his life .. Tum mere bete nahi hosakti hain."

DP tured to Sanskaar "Sanskaar .. hame hamari bahu wapas chahiye ..aur laksh ka kya karna hain..hum baad main sochenge ."

Annapurna stepped up " Maaf kijiye lekin ..ab hum iske saath ek chat ke neeche nahi reh sakte ..ya tho ye rahega ya phir hum."

Laksh looked dumbstruck ...hatred in eyes of his mother from whom he was the world, he could take it no longer, that's when Ragini came forward ..' Mummy ji papa ji please Laksh ko maaf kar dijiye ."Laksh looked at his wife startled as she continued ..".hamare liye Laksh hamare sab kuch hain.. Maante hain unse galti huyi lekin .. unshe ehsaas hain ... hame ek mauka dijiye ..hum Laksh ko sambhalenge ..please .

Ragini his wife whom he never truly considered one stood up with him .. and he was so blinded by hatred towards his brother .. not to see the pain he caused all of them ..they say .You reap what you sow ..truly said all he did was to hate and left with , hatred in eyes of his parents , his brother . Only if had learned to love ..

"Dekha laksh tumne...itna sab karne ki baad bhi .. "

"Sanskaar ..I know I was wrong about placing bet but I realised we were wronged by people whom we considered our own . He found her ..at the same place , the place near their college where they confessed their heart out and joined as one . She stood watching the hut .. bit shabby after years but still it held those memories .

She didn't turn ..worried Sanskaar approached her .." Ye jagah yaad hain na sanskaar ..jab hum pehli baar.." she paused . ..Sanskaar's heart withered in pain at all those accusations he laid on her the most beautiful moment of their life , he termed it as part of deception

These stupid tears ..why can't they hold back ... "Phir se kaho? And don't u dare call him me dumbo" she hit him playfully wiping her tears off

He broke the hug .His finger gently wiped those tears off cupping her face. " Swara ..jab se pyaar ko jaana hain sirf tumse pyaar kiya ..sirf tumko chaha hai maine aur hamesha karunga aur aaj jo bhi hoon tumhari wajah se hoon.. Naam mat lo usko .. swara was back to firebrand avatar "I almost killed her ... do chaar thappad lagaya..aur chaar lagaya when she told she likes you ."

He loved when swara would get possessive about him ..not that he is not ..she just slapped her ..he would have killed then and there itself .

"Ab tum batavo .. ghar mein ..Hesitant she questioned .."woh maa , bade papa aur ..lakshya .. she paused .. she had no clue what would have happened .

"Jyada kuch nahi kiya .. just gave him a broken nose and a jaw as well" sanskaar replied casually

"Kya?" ..Swara looked aghast "Sanskaar woh tumhara bhai hain aur "

"Bhai hain iss liye jaan se chod diya . I would not spare anyone who would try to snatch you away from me Swara ..take my word for that...his fingers feathered her cheeks lightly , pulling her close "You are my life Swara..I love u ...

I love u too ...she parted her lips for him as they closed on hers for a soft tender kiss

Rain started pouring in . "I love this rain kya timing hain ek dum perfect" he murmured against her lips ...she smiled at his cheerful tone .

"Hmm ..waise Mr Maheshwari .I doubt you have some hidden motives while talking about rain," she murmured back

" Oh ..Yes I do Mrs.Maheswari ," he replied in husky tone .."just like yours .. of calling me to this .. err.. You know hamara "... He paused with a naughty grin . Swara's cheeks instantly warmed ... "aisa kuch nahi hain..ok .. she looked away embarrassed as memories of their love making rushed to her.

"Lekin mera tho irade bilkul sahi nahi hai"..he scooped her up in his arms ."Sanskaar kya kare ho.." swara protested... " Tumse pyaar.." she smiled at his reply hiding herself in his arms as he carried her into their love nest ."I promised we will pick up from where we left , Remember he whispered as he lowered her down to hay bed

And he kept up his promise as they made love soft gentle discovering each other after years, pouring in all their love ,wait ,yearning ,bearing their body and soul to each other ...they held each other close as her hand entwined his .. with a silver band on her finger their names engraved ..Swara Sanskaar ...forever .
