Ok, everybody has probably heard the big news about the new Smash Bros game for Switch. Everyone has their own opinion about who's going to be in it. Even me. Though some of my ideas are not quite like everyone else's ideas. So, here we go!

Character 1: Ridley(Metriod)
Ok, it's what everyone wants, I know. But I think Ridley has a good chance of being in the game. Think about it; he doesn't appear at all in the first Smash game, he makes a brief appearance in a cutscene in Melee, he becomes a boss twice in the Subspace Emissary story mode of Brawl, then in the Wii U version of Smash Bros he appears in the Pyrosphere stage as a KO-able CPU. Not to mention fans have been begging for Ridley to be a playable character in Smash for ages now. That and someone made a mod of a mod for Brawl where you can play as Ridley. The only problem with Ridley I can see is "what is Ridley's final smash going to be?" Everyone says it could be his Meta Ridley form, but think about it, Meta Ridley is a cyborg version of Ridley, how is he just going to instantly turn into Meta Ridley? And don't get started on how Yoshi can just sprout wings and breathe fireballs all of a sudden. Or how Bowser can become Godzilla or how flipping Little Mac can become a boxing Hulk or whatever. I think it's going to be something like Ridley calling in an air strike from his space pirate crew to murder everyone. He is the captain, you know.

Character 2: Metal Sonic
Everyone wants Shadow to be in Smash. Either that or Silver. Or Knuckles. I heard one guy say Tails should be in Smash. Flipping.Tails. Really? What about Metal Sonic, ah? Don't say that thing would just be a clone of Sonic because Metal Sonic has he's unique moveset, you know. He can copy others moves like Kirby. He shoots lasers. He's got rocket boosters or whatever. He has a flipping impenetrable sheid ability. YouTube series Deathbattle had him face off against Zero from Megaman X, and sure he lost, but that was Zero, the robot equivalent of Cloud Strife, for crying out loud! He held his own against Zero long enough to be a worthy opponent, not to mention in the Deathbattle episode with Eggman vs. Dr.Wily, Metal Sonic won and killed both those madmen, plus Bass! And I think it's obvious what his final smash would be: turning into that giant robot monster thing and shoot a giant laser death beam across the stage. Seriously, I wouldn't mind Shadow or Silver, but Metal Sonic needs some redemption and some love for being a bad a** boss for Sonic as many times as he has.

Character 3: NiGHTS
If you either read my trivia book or your this much of a game freak (pun intended😅), then you know who this is. NiGHTS is for SEGA, just like Sonic. NiGHTS is a dream creature thing, so there's room to be creative about her attacks. Or him, if you see NiGHTS as a boy. Or it, if you see NiGHTS as a genderless being or being both genders. As for her final smash, I can see her summoning her brother Reala and basically do what Latias and Latios do in Smash Bros 4. If she doesn't work out as a playable character, her and Reala can be summons and still work.

Character 4: Bubsy the bobcat
Ok, ok, I know no game freaks out there sees any legit reason for Bubsy to be a popular character, let alone a fighter. Let me explain myself for...5 minutes, at least.
So you have some of the biggest names in gaming in Smash Bros; Mario for Nintendo, Sonic for SEGA, Megaman for Capcom, Pac-Man for Namco. Back in the time of the Great Game War between Mario and Sonic, everyone was trying to make the next mascot. Bubsy was one of those. And he actually made quite the reputation back then. He could jump on enemies like Mario, he could run fast like Sonic, and could even glide like Knuckles could YEARS LATER after Bubsy was a thing. Bubsy's game was also one of the first games to include fall damage as a thing. He came close to getting his own cartoon, but only went as far as the pilot episode. He also was one of the best 3D platforming games of his time, alongside Mario. In a time when older games like Bubsy's are making comebacks, and that whole thing about Bubsy possibly being in Sonic Forces(which was actually the only reason I was interested in Sonic Forces because of the possibility of Bubsy being a playable character, only to have that dream crushed), it would be a fitting tribute to this goofball bobcat. I could see he's moveset being kinda cartoonish like Sonic's and Duckhunt's. I don't know about what a final smash could be for Bubsy, but hey, most final smashes usually are either totally original or totally obvious. Either way, I'd pay to play as Bubsy the bobcat in Smash Bros if he makes the roster. What could possibly go wrong?(😆)

Character 5: Zero (Megaman X)
Like I said earlier, Zero is basically the robot equivalent of Cloud Strife. What more do we need?

Character 6: Bass (Megaman)
If Zero somehow doesn't get in on the action, then Bass has to. Sorry Protoman, but I doubt you have enough power to topple the other fighters. Bass wouldn't have all the same abilities as Megaman. He's got his own powers to choose from. Not to mention he's like an all around awesome anti-hero. For Bass's final smash, he could merge with his robot wolf Treble and basically Mega Charazard X the place, or shoot down charged shots like in the games.(Perfect time to use this thing->😎)

Character 7: King K. Rool (i think that's how you spell it.)
Everyone wants King K. Rool from Donkey Kong in Smash, and after looking into him some, I kinda agree. He's a big gator with almost as many gadgets as Inspector Gadget himself. He would work alot like Bowser, a big lug. If you think I'm crazy, tell that to everyone who put King K. Rool on their top 10 lists or made entire videos just for this guy. Besides, I don't think anything can top Bubsy as a crazy character of choice.

Character 8: Ashley(WarioWare)
After I heard someone suggest Ashley as a fighter, that little girl just got a whole lot more interesting. She's a, um, witch? Sorceress? A magic user, you know. She's already a summon in Smash Bros 4, why not a cooky fighter? I've never played any of the WarioWare games, but after listening to Ashley's theme song in Smash Bros 4, she became the only reason for even taking any kind of notice to Wario. She uses magic, so whatever she does in WarioWare could work for Smash. As for a final smash, Ashley might do something like what Peach does: puts some kind of spell on everyone while healing herself. 🎵You better be afraid of the great Ashley🎵

Character 9: Ray(Mighty no.9)
I know every game freak out there wants to forget Mighty no.9 after what a disappointment it turned out to be. Look, if you ask me, Mightyno9 is just as good a game as any, it was just a bit rushed, and the gameplay, admittedly, sucked. Or was too hard for some people to play. But didn't Megaman start as a hard to beat game, not to mention Cuphead? But hear me out, Ray would be a great addition to Smash. She's got the guts. She's got the uniqueness. She's got those claws. She got the powers. She even has a legitimate dash ability instead of just barrel rolling and jumping out of the way like most fighters. For a final smash, she could either do what Mega Lucario does and activate her Berserk Mode and go on a rampage, or Ray could still activate her Berserk Mode but then shoot her mouth laser breath death beam(try saying that 5 times fast) or whatever it's supposed to be called. I don't see Ray as the type to miss an opportunity to build a better gaming karma than be in Smash Bros Switch.
