Characters

So in the last page I talked about some of the universes involved in my imagination. Now, as promised, it's time for the characters, and if you read the Author's note, that means I'm close to telling the offbeat stories that make me talk to myself constantly and laugh uncontrollably in public and sometimes even cry to myself about how truly horrible some characters' lives are in their perspective.

I am lonely.

Anyway, on to the characters! These versions are from my Under my wings universe. Starting with, who else....

Raven: Having spent almost 10 years away from the other titans, Raven has grown rather passive-aggressive towards the world. Not like she wasn't already. When Nightmare showed up to test Raven, she took it as threatening. When he agrees to let Raven have a break from him if she agrees to go through different worlds, staying in them for at least a week each, Raven never figured she'd meet some of the most important people in her life. Though they admittedly couldn't compare to the Titans.... Then after a second time going through worlds, she found out that BB was actually staying in the tower. She also met Shadowglade, who seemed determined to protect Raven. After the Nightmares stopped their terror, it was revealed to Raven that Shadowglade is the blood related brother to her. Somehow Trigon didn't know about him and was taken to Earth so Trigon wouldn't know. Since then, Raven goes through thick and thin with them, and anyone who she feels can understand her. She would rather die then admit it, especially after everyone always asking her about it, but even after all this time she still has a crush on BB. If anything, its only grown stronger...

Beast Boy: It had been years since he's seen Raven, so after Raven decided to move back in the tower with him and Shadowglade, a new friend of his, BB was excited greatly. After all the things they've been through, why wouldn't he? He's a bit of a fan of many video-games, something him and Cyborg both share even after all the time that has past. He says he's ok, but in actuality he's extremely depressed about all the bad things he went through; his parents dying, his adopted mom getting murdered, his adopted dad rarely speaking to him, and then the whole thing with Terra... It just always gets him down. And he knows Raven knows it. That's why he always confides in her. Something she told him once, he can't forget it. "No matter how bad your own life has been, remember this: I've been through worse."

Shadowglade: After growing up in a family this close to tearing apart, he grew hostile towards the world. Especially since he was adopted. And home-schooled. He isn't sure if his adopted parents wanted him to know or not, but he kept the letter and the picture from his birth mother, and always hoped for that day the letter promised when his mother would "explain everything." His adopted brothers were already in college in Tokyo, so Shadowglade had only one true friend... an imaginary friend... who turned out to be his demon half. He can't help but feel guilty for his sister, Raven, having to deal with Nightmare, because it was him that told Nightmare about her. Even after telling Raven he's her brother(and he did a blood test to be sure), he still hasn't told Raven everything...

Nightmare: This demonic animatronic dream monster hybrid always holds his own in a conflict. He has been around for many years in human time, but for the last 30 something years he has been seen in his animatronic body. He created the other Nightmares when a child died leaving his plushies behind. He felt pity for them, so he gave them their monstrous forms to exact revenge. After he met Shadowglade and heard of his searching for his sister who was a demonic human hybrid like him, Nightmare wished to help him, since demon hybrids of that nature are rare. He also figured Raven's demon half would become uncontrollable if she didn't find inner peace with it. Shadowglade was lucky to have found peace with his unintentionally, before finding out he was part demon. He was rough with the final fight, in which he won, but after listening to Raven constantly showing her hatred toward him, he started being more willing to company her on whatever "idiotic predicaments" she gets involved in as a way to build some good karma. Nightmare is also in a sort-of relationship with Nightmare Chica(their both animatronics, they can't actually... you know...).

Joshua: Oh, who would want to forget about him? If you judged him just on his voice and prissy attitude, you would. Then again, he kinda has to be prissy. He is the Composer of Shibuya's Reaper's game after all. When Nightmare started taking Raven to different worlds, the first was actually Shibuya, Joshua's home. That's why Nightmare told Raven to stay in each world for at least a week before leaving, because he thought she would automatically be put in the Reaper's game due to her demonic status, though this wasn't so. It wasn't till the second time Raven was forced through worlds that Joshua became an important individual in her eyes. Though he refused to help her in battle, it was only because he knew Raven could handle it. He understood that Raven has been through much more than most probably should have, he's had his fair share of trouble. He actually gets emotional over the idea of losing a friend. He himself doesn't know it, but he is actually something known as a Special Being, which are beings categorized with Deities and Nymphs, and are thought to be the strongest between the three. Their power is unmatched by anyone categorized below them. In fact, there's a rumor amongst angels that there was a war between Special Beings and Semi-gods that was so chaotic, God himself had to come and stop the fighting. Joshua is one of Raven's best friends outside of her world, to the extent that she actually harbored a slight crush on him... Until he accidentally heard her say so.

Springtrap: When Raven first moved back to San Francisco, she had to get some kind of job outside of being a crime fighter, she happened upon the job of a substitute night guard... At none other than Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. Upon seeing the animatronics are, to an extent, alive, she felt these might be a rather nice change of pace... Until she met Springtrap. He's been around longer then most animatronics, so he knows how crazy people can be outside the establishment. He's one of three animatronics that remembers what Vincent's father did to them and the souls of the children he killed. Especially since Springtrap himself became the final resting place for him. Springtrap has a tendency to refer to everyone by some nickname, so when he met Raven, he started calling her "crow" only seconds after learning her name. This doesn't mean he doesn't call them by their real names when he feels he needs to be serious. He also doesn't realize Raven is a celebrity, and why blame him? He lives in an establishment with a reputation for kids going missing back in the 80's. What celebrity in their right mind would come here? Fortunately for the animatronics, Raven has no idea about their horrid past... yet.

Marshadow: A small, innocent pokemon Raven took in after seeing Pikachu and his friends become hostile towards him. You see, Marshadow was trying to stop that kid in the 2018 pokemon movie from taking Ash's place in Ho-oh's battle... Only for his powers to go out of control. Raven had no idea of this till much later, and even after she found out, she still held Marshadow dear. She can't help but see Marshadow as a little baby thing. I mean, how can you take Marshadow seriously with that adorable face of his? He's actually much stronger than you think. He will punch you in your face if he feels Raven is threatened. It's unknown to Raven or anyone else, but Marshadow is actually an orphan, so while Raven sees him as a baby, Marshadow sees her as a loving mother and will do anything for her.

Jeff: You know him. The creepypasta? Fortunately for us, Slendy and the other creepypastas managed to help Jeff get in his right mind. The last time his insanity made him do anything, you know, illegal, was when he was in San Francisco... And attempted to hurt Raven, but the police showed up before he did anything serious. He ended up getting caught, and tazed. Miraculously for him, Raven managed to buy him some time to recover from police abuse. Jeff confided in her about why he was like this; him and his brother were bullied and Jeff was trying to defend him. Only for his brother to take the blame for him. Jeff was beaten up, burned alive, and was in surgery for lord knows how long, being given medication that, in large doses, could cause psychological complications. And he was only 13 at the time. Raven showed Jeff sympathy and mercy by purposely letting Jeff escape. That was the last time they saw each other until Nightmare made Raven, on her second time going through worlds, go to the Monster Realm, where the creepypastas live, with a newly rescued Marshadow. Since Jeff washed that smile off and cleaned himself up, Raven didn't recognize him at first. It was also revealed after Raven returned from her second world hop that Jeff was friends with the animatronics. Except Springtrap of course. Jeff also managed to convince Jane that he truly did turn a new leaf.

So, those are some of the more important and common characters in my life. As you see, I think of each character from an emotional stand point, or at least I try to. There are definitely more interesting characters I could go on about, but I won't bore you. So, hopefully, my next page will be the first story. Till next page, peace!
