Once Written Cannot be Erased

Once upon a time, there are two friends, a pencil and a pen. They are happy in their

life because many children and adults use them. But as the days went by, the pencil

was no longer used and he just hid inside the box with the eraser and other school

supplies. He was very sad, because he used to always use for writing or even

drawing but now it is a pen that is used more often.

Pen spoke to him....

"That's life, when we're young, we use a pencil in school so we know that if we make a mistake we can erase it and replace it with a better one. But when we're old and we know things especially what's right and wrong, we use a pen so we know that when we make a mistake it can't be erased like when we were young. We can't erase our mistake but we can write a new one on the next page with a lesson learned from our mistake before."

Since then, the pencil has become aware of the reality of life.

Thanks to pen for explaining to pencil. Their friendship became stronger.
