Swordtember Day 14: Love
I swear this was too much fun.
Food, said to be the ultimate embodiment of love or hatred. It is said that the taste you get when you eat describes the feelings the chef has for you or cooking in general. A mother's love is one example. When it's done right, it can be a powerful energy provider.
This was my first attempt to make my own weapon. It genuinely wasn't meant to turn out this way. My original concept was to have a pitchfork or trident, but when I saw those ancient utensils on sale, I couldn't help myself. I bought them and worked hard to figure out how to integrate them. One main issue was choosing which one to make into a weapon. However, I realised halfway thanks to Tanya that I could use them interchangeably. Instead of choosing, why not just combine them? That and the discovery of the concept of Swiss Army knives, meant to be versatile, led to the creation of this new weapon, which I dubbed Coquensibet, using the Latin roots of Cook, Utensils, and love.
This weapon may not look like much. I get it. But when your back is up against a wall, this thing really comes in handy by providing an element of surprise. Each part has its own magic too. The spoon can act as a shield that absorbs all attacks, be it physical or magical. The fork turns into a spear that can penetrate through anything, even rocks. The butter knife becomes a sword that is always sharp, never dull, and can cut through mist. The jam knife can blind the opponents with a thick mist. And finally the fruit toothpick allows you to ground any electricity in the air to the ground. Of course, all these functions can't be used at the same time, and it takes time to switch between the two. Still, it's a pretty good first attempt. I like it.
