Killer's pov

Nightmare has been gone for a little while now. I'm getting worried, which is bad but good. Why? Because Nightmare took my emotions away for my "own good". Little does he know... I've been seeing someone to help me feel. His name is Color. When I'm with him... I feel something warm and fuzzy inside. Everything feels less... dark and empty when I'm with him.

Anyway, I decided to talk to Horror and Cross. Dust and Error also went missing... even the Star Sanses and a few others... last we saw them, it was when Error and Ink made a truce. They've been all been gone since then. What's going on...?

"So, what did you want to talk about Killer...?"

Cross said, snapping me out of my thoughts. Horror looked at me, munching on a corndog.

"You're aware that Nightmare, Error and Dust have been missing right...? Well... I had a thought. So, I felt Dream's presence in Nightmare's throne room. I heard yelling, then both of their presences vanished. I think... I think Dream captured him and turned him back into his passive form. As for Dust... I think him and Blueberry have something going on. Having said all that... what're we gonna do now? Only Nightmare and Error were able to AU hop. And Ink probably doesn't want Error to leave. None of us can AU hop. We're stuck here. And if Nightmare is now passive... that means he can't open portals..."

A thick silence fell across the room. Horror stopped eating his corndog.

"What are we supposed to do now...?"

Cross said quietly. Horror and Cross's eyelights went out.

"It's just us now..."

Horror whispered. Cross looked down at his lap and clenched his fists.

Then... I got an idea.

"Hold that thought. I know how we can find Nightmare, Error and Dust!"

I exclaimed. They both perked up.

"How?!"

Horror and Cross said at the same time.

I pulled out my phone and texted someone, ignoring my two teammates.

"Hello? I need to talk to you it's urgent"

I pressed send.

"Who is it?"

Horror asked me.

"Remember Color? From Othertale?"

Horror let out a dramatic gasp and put his hand over his chest, then gave me a shocked glare.

"You traitor!"

He said dramatically. I snickered. My phone buzzed, and I got a reply from Color.

"Killer are you okay? What's wrong?"

I typed back:

"Nightmare, Error and Dust are gone, and Horror, Cross and I are stuck here. We need to know if Nightmare and Dust are okay. (I don't think Ink has hurt Error...) I... hate to say this but... could you contact that stupid squid to come and get us? Please?"

I pressed send. It took a few seconds and he texted back.

"Yeah, I can do that. Just DON'T let Horror and Cross murder anyone okay?"

"Okay."

I turned off my phone.

"What'd he say?"

Cross asked me.

"I asked him if he could contact Ink to come and get us, and he agreed as long as the two of you don't kill anyone."

Horror groaned and Cross nodded. Horror opened up his mouth to say something, but I slapped my hand over his mouth, already knowing what he was going to ask. He wanted to make at least one headdog.

"Mmf!"

"Bad Horror."

I summoned a spray bottle and squirted him, to which he bit my hand and hissed, then scampered underneath the couch on all fours. Cross and I stared at Horror, completely used to his cat-like behaviour. Then, a portal opened and that ugly squid poked his head out of the portal.

"Are you ready to leave? You might not be able to come back again."

Horror gasped and ran upstairs, and so did Cross. I also ran up the stairs. There's one thing I need to bring. I ran into my room, and opened up a drawer. In it was a rainbow locket, with a picture of Color and I inside. I put it around my neck and went back downstairs. Cross was back with a Naruto poster, a box of Goldfish, a black Sharpie, some manga and another set of clothes. Soon Horror came down with a stuffed mouse in his mouth, his axe, a box of microwaveable corndogs, a sweater he stole from Lust, and a picture of Nightmare's gang smiling together.

"Are you ready now?"

Ink said slightly impatiently. We all nodded our heads, and Ink lead us through the portal. We stepped into... Ink's... house...?

"Wait here, I'm gonna text Dream."

Ink pulled out a phone and began tapping away at the screen.

(Wait... I just thought of something... how do skeletons text without skin?)

Then, Ink spoke to us.

"Dream has Nightmare, and Blue has Dust. They're all in Underswap. Mind if Error tags along with us?"

Me, Cross and Horror nodded quickly. Ink smiled.

"Great! I'll go get Error!"

Ink ran upstairs. I saw Horror sneaking towards the kitchen on all fours, and I grabbed him by the hood and sprayed him. He hissed at me and tried to bite, so I sprayed him again. He growled and gave up, then I set him down on his feet. Ink came down with Error, and Cross, Horror and I tackled him into a hug.

"WE MISSED YOU ERROR!"

All three of us said at the same time. He laughed and hugged us back.

"I mIsSed yOu gUyS tOo!"

"That ugly squid hasn't hurt you or done anything bad right?"

Cross said in a motherly tone.

"HEY!"

Ink shouted angrily.

"nOpE. wElL... hE dId sTeAl mY pEanUt bUtTer..."

"You're STILL salty about that Error? I said I was sorry!"

Ink said dramatically. Error snorted.

"yEs I Am sTiLl sAlTy aBouT tHaT anD wIlL cOntInuE tO bE uNtiL yOu gEt mE aNothEr jAr aNd kEeP yOur cRuStY fIngEr bOnEs oFf oF mY pEanUt bUtTer!"

Ink made a ;-; face and Cross, Horror and I stopped hugging Error to glare at Ink. Ink glared back. Horror bared his teeth and began growling. I pulled Horror back a bit. I knew he would want to try and bite Ink. Error then cleared his throat, grabbing our attention.

"iNk, dIdN'T yOu sAy sOmEtHinG aBouT vIsItIng tHe oThErs? iSn'T nIghTmArE aWakE bY nOw? YOu tOlD dReaM wE wErE cOmInG nOw rIgHt?"

Ink snapped out of the glaring contest.

"I did tell Dream, but he said Nightmare is still asleep. He said we can still come if we want."

"LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!"

Horror suddenly yelled, doing a weird dance.

"Okay okay we can go-!"

Ink said before being interrupted by Horror.

"YESSSSSSS I'M GONNA NOOGIE DUST SOOO HARD!!"

Horror shouted, clearly very excited to annoy Dust. Ink looked a little scared.

"dOn'T wOrRy INk, hE'S aLwaYs lIkE thIs. AfTer a wHilE, yOu gEt uSeD tO It."

Error told the squid. Ink shuddered, probably thinking about spending every day with Horror like Error, Cross, Dust, Nightmare and I have. Ink cut to the chase and made yet another portal, and jumped through it. We then landed in Underswap.
