Ignis and Marina were back in Marina's apartment, as Ignis still in his wolf form, as he cupped her cheek with his paw, " Tell me...Princess...do you still love me, even though I'm like this?" he asked, as she looked at him with hopeful, but loving eyes, " Would you leave me because of what I truly am?" he asked

She shook her head no, and looked at him, " I'm not scared. Just because you look like this, doesn't matter to me, what matter's is the person I love. Because it's you." she told him, with loving eyes, as he kissed her softly, as they both layed down, as they kissed each other

'When my father was a child, and he still lived in the kingdom of Tenebrae, his parent's died when he was only 4, and with his younger sister, my Aunt Rela, they were taken in by there uncle who lived in Lucis, as the royal adviser for Grandfather Regis, who knew nothing about their ability. Apparently, growing up with both of them, they both had a lot of trouble fitting in at first and trying to control there wolf side.'

Marina woke up the next morning, slowly opening her eyes as her vision was fuzzy. She realized she wasn't wearing any clothes, but had a blanket covering her body after she sat up, and looked over and saw Ignis asleep, peacefully, back in his human form. She smiled softly, gently petting his hair, as he stirred.

"Princess...?" he muttered, opening his eyes, looking at her, as she smiled at him, " Good Morning Iggy..." she said, smiling at him, " Did you sleep well?" she asked him, and he nodded, and asked, " How are you faring?" he asked, worried a little if he hurt her or anything, and she said, " I'm fine Ignis....I'm ok." she said, kissing his cheek with a smile.

" I see.." he said with a small smile, holding her hand, and then asked, " Marina....we've know each other since we were kids...and we've gotten to know each other again this past year, and I think...last night let me realize I want to spend the rest of my life with you...." he sighed and got his jacket and got out a small box, after he wrapped the blanket around his waist and then got down on one knee and Marina was really surprised as she saw a ring within the box.

" Marina Lucis Caelum....will you be my wife, the light of my life, and be my mate..?" he asked her, as she covered her mouth, as tears fell down, as she said, " Yes." she said, with a smile, as he smiled, standing up, placing the ring on her finger. She smiled, hugging him, crying tears of happiness, as Ignis asked, worried, " Marina? Are you ok? I'm sorry, I should leav-"

" No, it's ok, I'm just crying because I'm happy Ignis....I'm very happy." she told him, smiling at him, as he calmed down, smiling at her as well

Later in the summer....

Marina had been feeling sick lately, throwing up a lot, and not really able to keep a calm stomach. She couldn't keep anything in her stomach. She sighed, as she walked towards the Citadel, wanting to see her family, since it had been awhile since she last visited.

When she got to the Citadel she saw Noctis and Agatha together, playing games and fooling around a bit " Hey you 2." she said with a smile.Agatha slapped Noct's shoulder and he groaned in defeat. "Hey sis! You want to watch me kick Noct's butt on Mario Kart?"

" Sure, sounds like fun.." she giggled, sitting down on the ground, as the twins started to play, Noctis noticed the ring on Marina's finger. "Ignis get you a new ring?" Noctis asked and Aggie paused the game. She looked at the ring too. " Well...." she told them the news, about how Ignis had proposed to her earlier that summer, making them surprised. Agatha fangirled screamed and Noct groaned, covering his ears. "OH MY GOSH!! OH MY GOSH!! OH MY GOSH!!" she ran off, "GLADIO!! GLADIO!! IT'S LITERALLY HAPPENING!!" Noctis sweat dropped, "Um, I think the whole castle's going to know now..." He nervously laughed, scratching my head.

She sighed and said, " I should have known...how have you been Noct? You ok?" She asked her little brother with a smile.

" Everything ok?"

Her stomach growled loudly, making her blush red, " S-Sorry..." She said, holding it, embarrassed her stomach growled loudly. "Eh, no problem." He smiled, "I'm actually hungry too."She sheepishly smiled and asked, " Wanna get some food then?" She asked him, hoping food would stay down in her stomach. After they ate some food, after a while, Noctis noticed Marina looked a little green, as her stomach was all queasy.

"Sis?" Noctis frowned and got a trash can for her. "Sis, what's wrong?"

She felt ill, and said, " I...I think I'm going t-" she was cut off when she ran off to the bathroom instead of using the trash can, as she threw up in the toilet, sick and making Noct worried. As she threw up, she felt someone hold her hair back, and looked over and saw Noctis holding her hair back for her. "I got you sis..." He frowned, worried about her. "Is your tummy giving you fits?"

She nodded, and flushed the toilet after she was done, Y-Yeah....this has been happening for a while...sorry I scared you.." she said.

"As long as you are okay..." Noct said, but was still worried." I'll be ok....promise.." she said, smiling a little and asked, " Is it ok if I spend the night here?" she asked him, after they got out of the bathroom. "Oh, sure. Here, I'll give you my bed for tonight." He said, "I have a good size bed for us to have enough room for square dancing so wanna sleep together?" He said innocently and smiled like a little kid.

" Sure, I don't mind." she said, smiling at him, and ruffling his hair with a giggle.

He pouted and tried to duck out of her hair ruffling. "Sis..." She giggled, and said, " Yep, same old Noct." she said with a laugh, managing to mess his hair up. " Oh, yeah I wanted to ask, is Iggy here today?" She asked him, curious a bit. "Little a while ago. You missed him, though." Noct told her and messed her hair up too with a smirk.

She pouted a bit, and asked, " I'm guessing he went home then?" She asked, trapping him with a headlock. Noct growled and his neck popped when he pulled away. He sighed in relief and hugged her, "Yeah. Sorry..."" It's ok. I was just wonderin-" " Noct, I forgot my phone here, have you seen it?" they heard Ignis voice, as they then saw Ignis by the door, and saw them, " Oh..am I interrupting?" he asked

"Sis isn't feeling up to traveling now so she's staying here with me and Aggie for the night." Noct said, "Oh, and you might want to know Aggie's most likely going to the castle to tell everyone about her her new big brother." He smiled looking at Ignis. He chuckled, and said, " Believe me, I've already heard." he said, " Can you stay?" Marina asked him, with hopeful eyes, and he said, " It would depend if that would be ok with Noctis and Agatha." he told her.

" You don't mind that I asked your sister to marry her...are you?" Ignis asked his friend. "I'm sure Aggie would mind. I don't." He said and stretched, tired. Aggie came down and plopped down face first into her bed. "Aggie, I'm snuggling with you tonight. And Iggy is sleeping with Sis." She groaned, annoyed she couldn't have peace and quiet for sleeping right now.Marina giggled a little, and said, " Get some sleep, both of you ok?" she said, seeing how tired they were

" I'll take her to my room, so you 2 can sleep, alright your highness's?" Ignis asked Agatha and Noctis, holding Marina's hand. After they fell asleep, Ignis brought Marina to his room, and she asked, " How was your day Iggy? Was it busy?" she asked him. "As usual, busy..." Ignis yawned and cuddled closely with her.

She smiled and said, " Sleepy?" She asked with a small giggle, messing with his hair a bit. " You want to go to bed Iggy?" She asked him, with a smile. "Please." He closed his eyes and laid his head down on her shoulder.

She giggled and kissed him, " Night Iggy."

" See you tomorrow morning.." she said, closing her eyes, falling asleep.

Later on in the night, Ignis woke up hearing throwing up noises, making him concerned. Ignis placed his glasses back on his face, and saw it was 4 in the morning, as he went to the bathroom and saw Marina over a toilet throwing up. Aggie held back her hair, crying tears. She was scared her sister was hurt. "Ignis..." "What's going on here?" Ignis asked nervous about what was happening.

Marina finished throwing up, and said, " I-I'm fine.." she said, her voice a bit raspy, as she flushed the toilet, trying to shrug it off. Aggie hugged her tightly, wrapping her arms around her neck, "Sis..." She was extremely worried, not caring about missing school. Usually she wants to go to school. "I don't to go to school if you're sick! You need to get some rest! I'll take care of you!" She took her older sister to her bed. She ran off to get medical stuff and Ignis came in, "Are you feeling okay?"

" I'm fine Ignis...." she said, standing up, " I just want to head home." she said, wanting to leave, to get back to her apartment." I'm ok, I promise." she told him, as she tried to leave the room, but he blocked her from leaving, worried about her. "Just taking precautions, you need to stay here." Ignis said, motioning towards the couch. "At least sit down for a bit and wait for Agatha to see if you're okay."

" Iggy, I'm fine, I promise. I need to head home." she said, trying to leave again, but he wouldn't let her still. " Princess, I can't let you do that. he said, worried about her. " Ignis Please.." she asked him in a soft voice. He looked at her worried and said, sighing, "...Alright...but at least let me walk you home." he said, giving in.

She put her jacket on and all the things she needed, and walked home with him, as he walked with her, wearing his coat, as it was getting close to winter. She was wondering why she had been sick and always craving something. She paused for a minute, remembering something.

She hadn't had her period for 2 months, and it clicked for her why she was throwing up and why she was always hungry. " Is something the matter?" Ignis asked her, seeing her stop in her tracks. She then looked up, and said, " I need to go the pharmacy." she said, in a serious tone. Ignis was confused, " The Pharmacy? Whatever for?" he asked, and she said, " I need to buy something." she told him

They got to a Pharmacy, as she quickly bought a test-a pregnancy test- without Ignis looking and rushed to the bathroom, as he saw her, going after her, but she locked the door just in case, he knocked on the door, worried, " Marina? Is everything ok?" he asked, concerned.

She didn't respond as she took the test, and took a shaky breath as she waited a couple of minutes, nervous as she heard Ignis keep knocking on the door, " Marina what's going on? Is everything ok?" he asked, worried, as he kept knocking.

After a couple of minutes, she picked the test up, taking a deep breath in, and looked at the test, as she saw a little plus on it. It only meant one thing. Positive. She smiled a little, as tears of happiness fell down her face, as she looked at the test. She then heard Ignis voice, and heard him say, " Marina! Are you ok?! If you don't respond, I'm knocking this door down!" he told her, and she said, " I'm fine! Just...give me a minute please.." she told him

"....Alright." he said, as she got up, as she placed the test into the box again, and came out, to see him worried about her, " Are you ok?" he asked, and she nodded with a smile, " I'm fine. Actually, I take that back, I'm very happy." she told him, making him a bit confused

" Your...happy? Whatever for?" he asked, puzzled. She smiled and told him, " I'll tell you when we get to the apartment, ok?" she told him, making him more confused on what was going on. They went back to her apartment, and the box fell out of her pocket, and Ignis picked it up, and his eyes widened, looking at the box, and opened it, and saw the test, and saw the little plus.

He looked up at her and asked in a whisper, " Are you..?" he asked, and she nodded with a smile, " Yeah...I'm pregnant Iggy..." she told him, as he smiled and ran to her, and hugged her happy, smiling and laughing, twirling her around a couple of times " This is amazing news! Were going to be parent's!" he said, excited and happy

She was surprised, but smiled, hugging him, giggling, excited as well.

Once the got inside of her apartment, Ignis kissed her, softly, and told her, " I'm truly blessed by the gods to have a family with you..." he said, leaning his forehead to her's. She smiled, happy, and she said, " I'm excited too Iggy.." she told him, and he said, " Are you hungry, are you craving anything?" he asked her, and she said, " I'm a little hungry..." she said sheepishly, as they then heard her stomach growl loudly, and he told her, " I'll be back then, I need to get some things...I'll be back in awhile, don't eat anything." he kissed her forehead and left.

She accidentally fell asleep for 3 hours, and heard Ignis voice, "-rina..Marina, wake up, I got you food." he told her, as she got up, rubbing her eyes, still half asleep, " Welcome home Igni-" she then saw his appearance, and saw him holding a dead quill with feathers in his hair and some scratch marks on his face, as she looked at him in shock and in surprise

He started to make some food, as she sat at the table, talking to him, " How did you find that bird?" she asked him, and he told her, " I went hunting of course, and I found this bird, and decided to bring it back." he told her. After awhile, he placed a bowl with a lid on the top, and slid the bowl to her.

She looked it curious as she lifted the lid, and saw a broth with some dumplings, with vegetables like carrots and green beans. " Go on ahead, try it, it's a new recipe." he told her, as her mouth watered a little, seeing the food.

She picked up her chopsticks and tied to pick up some of the noodles, but only got one noodle since the others were all slippery. She placed it into her mouth, and her eyes filled with stars, " This is so good!!" she said, trying to get some more, " Oh, hot!" she said, after she placed a dumpling into her mouth, as Ignis smiled at the scene, happy.

' While my father worked as my Uncle Noctis adviser, and as a mover to support my mom, she stayed at home, working from there as she was pregnant with me.She told her family, that she was expecting, and they were so happy for her and my father. They got married before it started to snow. At that time, my mom was 7 months pregnant with me.They both decided to not go to a hospital or get a midwife when I was going to be born. They both feared that I would be born looking like a pup rather then a human baby. They both were nervous, but they both would go threw it together. Then on a snowy night, as white fell from the sky...I was brought into this world.'

A tired Marina layed down next to a newborn infant-a healthy baby girl- sleeping next to her, holding Ignis finger with her tiny hand, as they both smiled at the sleeping girl, happy.

" I'm happy your both ok..." Ignis muttered in a soft tone of voice, holding Marina's hand with his free hand, as Marina weakly smiled, happy as well.

Marina and Ignis were walking in the park together at sunset, as Ignis had his 1 year old little girl-which they decided the name Marie was perfect for her- on his shoulder's. She looked a lot like Marina, but had Ignis dirty blond hair with his green eyes.

" Do you think Marie will be like you?" Marina asked him, as Marie was looking around, curious as she held onto Ignis hair, pulling it a bit. " I'm sure she'll be kind, and smart as well." Ignis chuckled, as he held Marina's hand, with a smile as Marie pulled on his hair more, as Marian nodded with a smile. " Mm-hmm!" she said, smiling as she placed a hand on her stomach, on her 6 month pregnant stomach, as they walked home.

' It was the following spring...that my little brother Riley was born on a rainy day....and that day was when our father suddenly disappeared.'

Marina was with almost 2 year old Marie and her newborn son, looking out the window, worried about were Ignis was. She had tried calling him many times, but she couldn't contact him " ...were did he get off too?" she asked, worried about him. She got a jacket on and used straps to hold her kids, Marie was in the back, while Riley was in front. Both of them were thankfully sleeping. She opened the door with her umbrella in hand, and saw groceries by the door, and saw Ignis wallet and glasses. " His wallet and glasses..?" she asked, confused.

She started to walk around on the places Ignis would walk around to clear his head, and asked people if they had seen him, but no news about were he was. She was walking over a bridge when she saw some people down by the river, as she heard people saying it was a dog taking care of...a familiar wolf, who wasn't moving or breathing. She remembered what Ignis had said before. ' I'll be back soon.Don't worry.' he told her.

Marina dropped her umbrella not caring about it for now, as she rushed over there, as people gave her odd looks, as she shouted, " Wait! That m-" " Don't come near it ma'am. It's already dead." a person with the trash crew told her. She teared up as she saw the men pick up Ignis's wolf body, and bring it near a trash compactor. They placed him into it as Marina fell to her knees crying as the trash compactor crushed Ignis body as people came near, putting a umbrella over her as Marina cried.

' My mother said we couldn't have a funeral...I don't know what my father was thinking. Maybe he was acting on an instinct to hunt for his food for his mate. Maybe he wanted to feed her something healthy and nutritious to my mother, who had just given birth..'

Marina opened her eyes and saw she was wearing her blue dress and saw Ignis, sadly smiling at her, and she smiled, " There you are! I was getting worried about you!" she said, as she started to come near, but saw him turn around, slowly turning into a wolf, " Hey...Ignis, were are you going?" she asked, confused, as he was starting to fade into the distance, " Wait...Ignis wait!" she begged, " PLEASE!!"

Marina woke up from her dream, after she got home, as she fell asleep on her desk, holding Ignis glasses and his license. She looked over, and saw her kids sleeping, tired.

' " Take good care of the kids for me Sea..please." My mother heard it...as if he were there saying it.'

She placed his license and glasses by some flowers he had placed by the window the day before, as she stared at it.

' I wonder how they'll turn out.' Marina remembered Ignis say, ' I want them to do work they love. Nurse, Teacher, Adviser, whatever...I know we have alot ahead of us...But I also know it'll all work out in the end.'

Marina remembered she promised Ignis to smile, even when times get rough, as she still cried, she smiled a little, wanting to keep her promise.

" Okay! Leave it to me Ignis...I'll raise them right!" she said, filled with determination, as the kids slept, not knowing what was going on.
