Part 22

Payal found the air in the car getting more thicker.. She found both Anjali and Devyani in a state of disappointment and anxiety.. It seems like they are worrying too much about something..

They were fine until she went aside to talk over the phone.. She saw an elder woman talking with them when she came back.. She felt negative vibes seeing that woman. Who is that woman ?? What relation does she have with Raizadas ?? What did she talk with Devyani and Anjali that stressed them ??

Payal finally sighed with her thoughts.. She needs to inform this to Akash..

Devyani, on the other hand is soo stressed hearing Subadhra's words.. Did she really lost in Subadra's hands ?? Does she have to handover Sheesh Mahal to Subadhra and Shyam ?? No NO.. That can't happen.. If the village goes into the hands of those two evil persons, then nothing good will happen to people in the village.. Hey Devimayya , Show me a way to convince Chote for marriage.. Do something maa.. Devyani prayed to her beloved goddess in her heart.. She was soo lost in her thoughts that she didn't observe reaching Sheesh Mahal..

When Anjali shook her by shoulder, Devyani came out of her thoughts..

"We reached Nani" said Anjali..

Devyani looked around her surroundings and got down from the car.. She started towards the entrance when she felt her legs felt heavy and sudden weakness hit her.. Even before she could realize what's happening with her, she fell down to the floor.

Anjali and Payal who saw Devyani fell down were horrified and came next to her immediately. Anjali took Devyani's head into her lap..

"Dadi" Anjali patted Devyani's cheeks but she din't respond.

"Chotte, Akash, Abhinavji" Anjali called out loudly enough for the people in the house to hear.

Hearing Anjali's voice, everyone in the house came out of the house.. They were panicked seeing Devyani in Anjali's lap..

"Dadi"

"Amma"

"Sasumaa"

"Dadiji"

All of them came near Devyani..

"Di!! What happened ??"asked Akash.

"Don't know Akash. Dadi fell down suddenly" said Anjali crying..

"Akash!! Let's take Dadi to the room" said Arnav..

Soon Dadi was moved into her room.. Abhinav sent everyone out of the room and treated Dadi..

Whole family including Guptas were waiting out of the room.. After nearly fifteen minutes, Abhinav came out of the room.

"Abhinavji" Anjali and other rushed towards him..

"How is Dadi ?? What happened to her ??"asked Anjali..

Even others too bombarded Abhinav with their set of questions..

"Relax everyone.. Dadiji is fine for now..I have injected her and she won't wake up for another hour" said Abhinav

"What happened to her all of sudden ?"asked Arnav.

Abhinav sighed and said, "She is taking a lot of stress these days.. Two days back too when I checked her BP, it was very high.. I advised her not to take any kind of stress. Today, it seems she has taken more stress than before..So, her BP raised and she fell down"

"Can we see her ??"asked Anjali.

"Not now Anjali. I have given her sedatives.. She won't wake up for another two hours" said Abhinav, " Meet her after she gains conscious"

"Ok.. I will stay with Dadi until then" said Anjali.

"No need Di.. I will stay with Dadi.. You go" said Arnav.

'But Chote.." Anjali was going to say something but Arnav stopped her. "Di.. Believe me.. I will be here.. Jiju came just now from hospital.."

Anjali sighed and nodded her head..

"Call us as soon as Amma gains conscious" said Manohar.

Arnav nodded his head and everyone left from there.

Arnav sat down at the sofa near to the bed watching his Dadi.. He knew who brought Dadi to this stage. It's him.. Dadi was worried about his rejection to second marriage.. It is because of him Dadi is in this condition..

Arnav sat there thinking for the next two hours..

In Gupta's room:

Garima is sitting on the bed worried while Shashi is chitchatting with Khushi.. Payal was also lost in her own thoughts..

Khushi observed Garima to be silent.. She signaled her father to look at Garima..

"Garima!!" called Shashi.

Garima looked at him.. Even Payal's attention shifted to the trio

"What happened ?? You are looking worried" asked Shashi.

"Nothing Shashiji" said Garima.

"Now.. Don't lie to me.. By looking at your face, I can clearly say something is bothering you.. What is it ??"asked Shashi.

"I am thinking about Devyaniji's health.. She was fine until morning.. What if something happens to her ?? What if anyone blames Payal for it ??" asked Garima with a worried tone.

"Why would anyone blame jiji Amma ??"asked Khushi confused.

"You don't know Khushi.. This society will blame a girl if any bad happens in the house" said Garima..

"But we are not like that aunty" came Anjali's voice from behind.. The four members turned towards Anjali..

Anjali entered the room and came near Garima, " We are not such a narrow minded people to blame a girl for something that happens in the house.. Payal has nothing to do with Dadi's illness.. Trust me no one in this house think like that"

"Are you happy now ?? Anjali Bitiya, herself cleared your doubt" asked Shashi..

Garima nodded her head..

"It's time for dinner.. Let's go" said Anjali..

"Did Devyaniji got conscious ??"asked Shashi.

" No Uncle.. Not yet." Said Anjali.

"Then.. How can we eat ?"asked Garima, "Let her gain conscious"

"Aunty.. Even if Dadi gains conscious, Abhinavji instructed to give her only Khichdi and not to stress her.. So, Dadi will be in her room only.. Also, it may take another hour for Dadi to wake up.. So, you all have dinner first" said Anjali.

Shashi agreed and everyone went to have dinner.

In Subadhra's house:

"Radha" Subadhra shouted for her daughter in law..

Radha who was in the kitchen came running near her mother in law.

"Go.. Go and make some Kheer.. I am happy today" said Subadhra.

"Why Dadi ??What happened ??"came there Shyam.

Subadhra explained what happened in the temple and how she frightened Devyani..

"You should have seen her face Shyam.. She is breaking from inside but sill put up a brave face.. and the most important news I got is Devyani collapsed as soon as she reached home.. Which means that my words had bad effect on her.. Devyani's resolve is breaking slowly.. That is what I want and waiting for" said Subadhra..

Radha sighed hearing it.. She was really disgusted to be DIL to this vile woman..

After an hour:

Devyani opened her eyes slowly and looked around the surroundings.. She remembered what happened and how she ended up here.. She saw Arnav sitting on the sofa adjacent to her. She tried to get up but felt too weak to do it.

Arnav saw his Dadi conscious and rushed to her side immediately.

"Dadi.. How are you feeling ??"asked Arnav.

Devyani nodded her head indicating she is fine..

"I will call others" said Arnav and called Anjali through his mobile.

Soon, whole Raizada Clan along with Guptas arrived into Devyani's room.. In this meanwhile, Arnav helped his Dadi to sit on the bed..

Abhinav checked Devyani's Blood pressure and pulse.. He sighed in relief..

"Abhinav beta.. How is Amma ??"asked Manohar.

"There is nothing to worry uncle.. Dadi's Bp is in control.. But she is still weak." Said Abhinav then turning to Anjali, "Bring the Khichdi you made and give her meds.. Let her rest for tonight"

"Ok. I will stay with Dadi tonight" said Anjali.

"No Di.. I will stay with Dadi" said Arnav.

"No Bhai.. I will stay with Dadi.. You too take rest" said Akash..

"Anjali, Akash.. Let Chote stay with me tonight.. I have something to talk with him. Bring Chote's dinner too" said Devyani..

Anjali and Akash nodded their heads while Arnav just prayed that Dadi doesn't talk about his marriage again.
