Part 14

At the outskirts of the village:

Khushi, Karan, Payal and NK along with the driver are waiting from the past half an hour for the car to arrive to pickup them.

Khushi is leaning on the car and observing the old palace.. She is feeling an unknown attraction towards the palace.. Payal is checking something in her mobile while NK and Karan strolling around observing surroundings.

"Jiji.. Let's go there" said Khushi.

"Where ?"asked Payal without lifting her head from the mobile.

" Into that old palace" said Khushi..

Payal looked up from her mobile without any surprise on her face.. She knew her sister will ask this as she observed Khushi was some what curious about that palace.

"No. We can't" said Payal.

"Please jiji" said Khushi in a requesting tone.

Payal didn't raised her head from her mobile.. Khushi understood her jiji's answer and started towards NK.

"Dare you if you call NK to pull your adventurous stunt" said Payal with a strict tone.

"I Just want to see what is there in that palace" said Khushi..

"NO need for that.." said Payal looking up at Khushi.

Khushi pouted but Payal didn't budge.. Khushi stood there with a grumpy face.

Just then the car came to take them..

"Let's go" said Karan..

The trio agreed and got into the car..

Khushi turned to have a glance at palace.. Her eyes grew wide when she found a woman with red lehenga and jewellary standing at one of the corridor window looking towards her.. She can't see the woman's face clearly. Her long hair is covering her face.

Khushi's heart stilled seeing it..

"Stop the car" shouted Khushi..

The car stopped with a jerk hearing her shout..

"What happened Khushi ?"asked Karan

"Jiji.. See, there is a woman in that palace" shouted Khushi..

"What!!" said the trio.

"Haan.. I have seen her" said Khushi and got down from the car before anyone can stop her.

Karan, Payal, NK and the driver too got down from the car. They saw towards the palace but found none.

"Khushi.. There was no one" said Payal..

Khushi saw at that direction but to her surprise she didn't find anyone..

"But I saw her now" said Khushi with a surprised tone.

"You are day dreaming" said NK.

"No, I am not.. I saw a woman standing there" said Khushi with a frustration.

"Madamji.. No one resides there.. It was an old palace of Raizadas.. It was closed from many decades" said the driver..

"But I.." Khushi was going to say something but Karan placed his hand on her shoulder, "Khushi.. Seems like you are over thinking and too interested in the palace.. So, you are hallucinating the things"

"Haan Khushi.. Bhai is right.. Let's go now" said Payal..

Payal took her by shoulder and led her into the car.. Others also got into the car. Khushi sat there confused..

The car soon reached Sheesh Mahal.. Hearing the car sound, Garima rushed out of the house surprising others.

Seeing four of them coming out of the car, Garima rushed to them..

"Are you all ok ?"asked Garima..

The trio nodded their heads as Ok while Khushi was still lost in her thoughts about the palace..

"Khushi!!" Garima called her and Khushi came out of her thoughts..

"Are you OK ?"asked Garima.

"Haan Amma.. I am fine" said Khushi..

"Let's go" said Karan.. They all left into the house leaving a worried Garima behind.

Shashi introduced Khushi and NK to Raizadas who welcomed them warmly..

After the pleasantries by Raizadas, Dadi said, "Shashi Beta.. We have arranged your stay in second floor.. The servants will lead you to respective rooms.."

Manorama scoffed hearing it.. She thought Guptas are going to stay in outhouse but Dadi and Anjali changed the plan overnight and decided to arrange the stay of Guptas in Sheesh Mahal itself..

"Ok Devyaniji" said Shashi..

Devyani ordered the servants to take the luggage of Guptas and keep in their respective rooms.

Just then, a servant came into the hall and informed, " Malkin.. Police have arrived"

"Police!!" said Devyani and looked at Anjali..

Even others were also confused as Police never arrived to Sheesh Mahal..

"Call them in" said Anjali. The servant went out to call Police.

Soon, the inspector arrived inside the house along with two male constables and a lady constable. He looked somewhat confused and awkward.. But he has to do his duty not to face wrath from commissioner.

"What happened Sir ??Why are you here ?"asked Abhinav.

"We are here to arrest Ms. Khushi Gupta and Mr. Nandkishore Mishra" said the Inspector..

Guptas eyes grew wide with shock while Raizadas frowned hearing it..

"Why Inspector ?"asked Karan coming out initial shock.

" We got a complaint on them" said Inspector.

"Who gave the complaint ?"asked Payal.

"ASR's manager.. These two tried to degrade the image of ASR.. So, ASR's manager gave us complaint on the behalf of him" said the inspector.

Everyone in the hall were shocked..

"ASR.. You mean Arnav Singh Raizada ??" asked Karan.

Inspector nodded his head.. Raizadas and Guptas were confused.

"But Inspector, we have never met ASR.. We don't know him personally and we didn't even saw him until now.. Then, why would we do that ?" asked Khushi.

"Yeah.. Khushi and NK never met ASR not they have seen him" said Karan..

"One minute" Anjali butted in between.. She turned to Inspector, " What did ASR's manager actually said ?"

"You!!" came a voice from behind and everyone turned to look at Arnav Singh Raizada who is standing at a distance throwing daggers at Khushi.

Khushi was shocked to see Arnav there..

"YOU!!" said Khushi, "What are you doing here ?"

Arnav strode towards her neglecting others, "Standing in my house, you have guts to ask who am I ?"

"This is not your house.. This is Raizada's house" said Khushi..

Everyone are looking at them confused and surprised.

"And I am Arnav Singh Raizada, the owner of this house" said Arnav in his ASR style with ASR tune running in the background.

Khushi's eyes grew wide hearing it.. Now, she understood the whole situation why police came..

"You are Arnav Singh Raizada??"asked Khushi with a frightened voice while Arnav is looking at her like an eagle ready to pounce on his prey..
