We were hanging out at the Chateau, John B told us Sarah broken up with him and me and Jay went to get some beer to cheer him up as him Pope and Kie were talking by the dock

I haven't told Jay I am using again and he didn't noticed, so I am trying to keep it up like that way.

"Hot potato, hot potato, hot potato two!" Jay says throwing the beer at John B, Kie and Pope "oh!" Pope says "impressive catch" I says laughing

"Oh! He shoots!" John B stands up and catches a beer that Jay throws at him "what are you guys doing down here? Having a good cry?" Jay asks "cry?" Pope asks as he shares a look with John B "cry? What are you talking about? We don't cry" John B says

"You know it's not your fault, right?" Kie says "you think she'll come around?" John B asks "yeah, dude. She's one of us" Kie says "yeah" I agrees

"Hmm. Sarah is a Pogue. She'll come around. Yep. You know, she'll come back to me, right. You know, I was just thinking about it, I am gonna do a backflip" John B says

"You're so full of shit" I says taking a sip from the beer "I won't do it?" He asks "you won't" Jay says "I wanna see you do it!" Pope challenges him "hold my beer that you already dropped" John B says before he does a backflip and we all cheers him up

"Yeah!!" We all says "that's my boy!" Jay says "woogity- woogity, baby!" John B says "John B!" Kie cheers

"Uh, guys... I am gonna head off" I says "what? Why?" Jay asks "my mom needs me home" I lies "yeah okay, I'll see you around" Kie says

My mom didn't need my at home, I was headed to some party Kyle told me he is throwing at his house

"Haley! I am glad you made it" Kyle says opening the door for me "couldn't miss it" I says

"So, this are my friends" he says as we sits next to his friends who is snorting lines. There were more people I couldn't recognise walking around the house and smoking weed

"I am Haley" I says "I am Jane, do you want some?" One of his friend offers "yeah, sure, what's that?" I says "Cocain" Jane answers before I snorts a line

"I am Liam and this is Chris" another one of Kyle's friend speaks "nice to meet you guys" I says

"How come we never seen you?" Liam asks "I don't really go to a lot of parties" I answers "don't worry you'd have a good time" Kyle says "no doubt" I says

"How do you know Kyle?" Chris asks "he's my dealer, but he's also a friend" I answers "cool" Jane says before I pulls up my meth

"Easy there" Liam says making me laughs "I haven't even started yet" I chuckles "oh, I like you" Jane smirks before the affect of the drug hits 

"I am just gonna lay down here for a bit" I lays on the couch "girl, you good?" Jane asks "I feel fucking amazing" I mumbles

When I wakes up I wake up in a random room with a huge hangover. and when I am trying to walk out the room I realise the door is unlocked, I starts to panic and bangs on the door aggressively

"Haley, chill" I hear Kyle's voice before he open the door "what the fuck man?" I asks "I am sorry for freaking you out, you just passed out last night so I put you in this room and I didn't want anyone to walk in, everyone was making out so I locked it" he explains

"You scared the shit out of me dude" I says "sorry about that" he rubs the back of his neck "thank you for being a good friend though" I says after I calms down "yeah, no problem" he say "was it that bad?" I asks "kinda, are you good through?" he asks "yeah, just hangover" I says before we hears knocks on the door "hold on" he says before he walks towards the door

"Not you again" I sees Barry "I am not here to fight with you Haley, chill. I need to have a word with Kyle" he says "what's up?" Kyle asks

"Rafe was supposed to sell for me, but he's out. I need you to take his share and sell it alright?" Barry says "you two having problems in your marriage?" I asks

"Very, funny, Haley. Very funny" Barry says "look, Barry. I think it's too much, I don't know if I can sell all of it in time" Kyle says

"What are you talking about? Of course you can" Barry says "Haley, you wanna try some?" He asks "no, I don't think she does" Kyle says

"Kyle was just about to get me meth, so... I am good" I says "uh, but there is a bonfire today, you can ask from someone else to sell it I don't think it will be a problem" I adds "good thinking, Haley. See? I like how you think" Barry points at me

"But Kyle, if I can't find someone to sell it today you'd sell it, I count on ya" Barry says before he leaves "what happened to Rafe?" I asks after he leaves "I don't know, but uh... thanks" he says

"Why are you selling drugs if you don't want to?" I asks "I don't have any other option Haley" he says before he walks to another room to get my meth

"Can I get a discount for saving your ass?" I asks "in your dreams" he says before I hands him money

"Thanks" I says "Haley" he says as I was about to leave "look, I saw a lot of people dying from od, and I don't want you to be one of them. So just take care of yourself alright?" He says

"Kyle... you don't even know me, why do you care?" I asks "I just... you don't like the other people who does drugs, you got something precious in you, something kind. And I just don't want to see it gets destroyed" he says, I nods

"Thank you for your concern, I'll be good" I says before I walks away. I still have a huge hangover and my stomach were hurting as fuck, I think it was a bit too much last night

"Haley?" My mom asks as I walks toward my room, ignoring her "Haley, hey, talk to me" she says as I throw myself at my bed "I just needs to sleep" I says

"Where have you been?" She asks "I just need to sleep, alright?" I says "what have you been doing?" She asks "I just want to sleep, leave me alone" I mumbles once again, she sigh and leaves the room

"Guys, this is from Denmark's diary" Pope speaks "August 15th, set sail from Port-au-Prince on calm seas. Came upon the Spanish ship San Jose on fire. Came upon the Spanish ship San Jose on fire. The entire deck was a flame. And we could hear the screams of men trapped below"

"The Spanish captain cared about only one thing, his valuable cargo, the Cross of Santo Domingo. And countless bars of gold. Once the cargo was on board, we went to help the crew, but captain Limbrey ordered us to pull bayonets. And not to let any of the Spanish crew on the board. He robbed them and left him to die" he reads

"That's depressing" I says "so it didn't go down off Bermuda" Jay says "and it was a Limbrey stealing shit again" Kie says "this diary proves that both the gold and the Cross of Santo Domingo were on the Royal Merchant" Pope says

"Why didn't we find it in the well then? I mean, if Denmark was able to get this, like, bedazzled cross off of the Merchant to shore, why didn't he just hide it with the gold?" Jay asks "because it was too big" John B realises

"You're right" Pope says "he had to hide it someplace else" Pope says "where?" Kie asks "right before he was hung, Denmark said he's buried the treasure at the foot of the angel" Pope says

"I thought this was about the key" Jay says "right. So what's the connection?" Kie asks "what does the Key even opens?" I asks

"The path to the tomb begins in the island room" Pope says "but what is the island room?" I asks "you know what helps me figure shit out?" Jay says as he stands up "oh boy. Here we go" John B says

"Smoking beers and drinking weed. The ideas just pour out of me. If we just sit here and try to figure this out. We're gonna get no where. But if we're gonna get creative and go to this bonfire tonight, maybe we get somewhere" Jay says

"Well, I just got disowned by my parents, and I am officially member of the I-have-nothing-to-lose club" Kie says "Haley?" Jay asks looking at me "if there's weed, I am in" I says

"Pope?" Jay asks "we're so close" Pope says "Look, look, think about how much you could think if you just have your brain a rest" Jay says "okay, fine" Pope says "okay, great!" Jay says

We arrives at the bonfire and we separate, John B was with Jay and Kie was with Pope so I was kind of alone, so I decided to grab some drink

"Haley?" A familiar voice appears "Jane?" I looks around seeing her "are you okay? You know, since last night?" She asks "oh, yeah, yeah. I am alright" I assures her

"What are you doing here by yourself?" She asks "my friends and I got separated" I answers "well, Kyle is also here, you wanna hang out with us?" She asks "yeah, sure. Where is Liam and Chris?" I asks as we walks towards Kyle

"We just sees them at parties but we're not that close to them" she says, I nod "Haley" Kyle smiles "Kyle" I replies

"I am glad you're here" he says "thank you, you got anything for me?" I asks "I only left with Cocain, sorry" he says "that'll do it" I says

"Are you sure?" He asks "yeah" I says "alright" he pulls out a bag of Cocain "thanks man" I hands him cash

"Haley!" Jay walks towards me after I spent a while hanging out with Kyle and Jane, I just have been snorting a bit of Cocain and drinking beers with them

"Jay!" I laughs "I see you're having fun" he says "yeah, uh aren't you with John B?" I asks "he is with some girl now" he says, I nods

"I am Kyle and this is Jane" Kyle shakes Jays hand "how do you know each other?" Jay asks "uh-" Kyle says and I interrupts him "we just met here" I lies "oh, right" Jay nods

"What's that?" I asks hearing shouts "I think John B is in trouble" he says before he rans off, I wants to follow him but everything starts to spinning around

"Haley! Haley!" Jay says slapping my face "what? What happened?" I asks "I think you passed out, but we gotta go come on" he helps me stand up "you should seriously stop passing out" Kyle says, Jay looks at me confused as I glares at Kyle

"I mean like... passing out once is already too much you know" Kyle says "we don't have time for this, we gotta leave" Jay says before we walks away

"Haley! Where have you been all night?" Kie asks "I was just hanging out with some friends" I rubs my eyes "okay well John B and Tooper had a fight and you were doing what? Exactly?" Kie asks

"Having a good time? Is that allowed in a party?" I asks, upset "are you high?" Jay asks "No, I am just drunk. I am still allowed to get drunk, aren't I?" I says as we were on our way to the Chateau

"You're obviously not just drunk!" Jay says "you obviously don't know shit!" I snaps "Guys, keep your voices down" Pope says before we arrives at the chateau

"Look, I don't know what happened between you two but chill out and talk about this later" John B speaks

"We need to talk" Jay grabs me inside as we arrives at the Chateau "wow, so serious" I says "Haley" we enters the Chateau living room as the others were talking outside

"What? Can't a girl have some fun?" I asks "you told me you only met those people at the party" he speaks "and?" I asks "and one of them said you passed away another time!" He says

"He was just confused, it's not that big of a deal. You know what you should? You should relax a little bit" I says "Haley you're obviously lying to me, constantly lying" he says "I am not lying!" I says

"I met this Kyle dude at another party where you were passed out, you lied about knowing him since the party" he says "I was confused" I says

"How do you expect me to believe you after the summer?" He asks "that's not fair!" I says "how is that not fair? I was there for you the entire time! I was by your side, but I can't help you if you're lying to me" he says

"For the last time, I don't need your help!" I says "look at you! Look at you right now! You want to tell me you're not high?" He says, I gets quite "I can't keep doing this, Haley" He sighs

"I knew it! I knew that you taking weed is not going to end up good" he says "Jay-" I sighs

"I can't even have a normal conversations with you anymore, I miss you" he says "so maybe we shouldn't be having this conversation at all" I says "maybe we shouldn't have this relationship at all" he says  I feel tears in my eyes "yeah, maybe" I says

"Guys!" John B calls us and Jay walks away, after a few seconds I wipes my tears and walks up to them as well "is everything okay?" Kie asks "we don't have time for this, someone's out there" JJ says

"How do y'all doing?" Renfiled appears "you gotta be kidding me" JJ says "lovely evening we're having" he says walking towards us

"Look, I, uh... I don't hold a grudge with any of y'all, all right? But this can go hard or this can go easy. You know what I am here for. Let me give you a little demonstration. You see that swing right there?" He asks pointing at a swing

"I got the best bow hunters. In the army rangers with me, hidden" he says "fucking psycho" I says before he whistles and a bow were fire next to us "now, they're out there. They'll stick you just as soon as I say so" he says before whistling another time, and again, a bow was fire next to us

"We clear? Now I am not going to give you a countdown or any bullshit like that. I am just gonna whistle" He says standing in front of Pope "No" Pope softly says "oh" Redfield says

"This key belongs to my family" Pope adds "I am losing my patience with you, Pope" Redfield says as he was about to whistle, but Pope gave hands him the key before he had the chance to

"Did the right thing, kid. Knowing when you don't have a choice is an under appreciated talent. You be safe" Redfield says "easy there" he says walking passed JJ who seems stressed "y'all have a good night" he says before walking away

"I am so sick of this shit" Pope says before walking away

"Hey" Kie sits next to me on a hammock outside the chateau everyone were already asleep in a different spots inside the chateau, but I staid outside

"Hi" I faces her "what's up with you and JJ?" She asks "I think we broke up" I answers looking down "what?" She asks "mhm" I mumbles

"You guys were so good together... I don't understand" she says "I guess we're just... different" I simply says "too different? Are you kidding me? You're like the same person" she says

"It's just complicated" I says "so just try to solve whatever that is, I know you both too well to tell you that you're the best thing that happened for each other. He makes you so happy and you makes him so happy" she says "just leave it" I says

"I just don't get it" she adds "people change, Kie" I says "look, I am sure whatever is going on with you guys, it will be alright. You guys will solve it at the end" she says and I shakes my head

"Don't- don't say that. Don't say things you can't know" I says "but I can, you're JJ and Haley, you're like... perfect together" she says "Kie... I am sorry. I just can't do it" I stands up "can't do what? Haley, please. Talk to me" she says

"You're pushing everyone that's trying to help you away, maybe that's why he broke up with you. It's impossible to help you" she says

"You wanna go there? Seriously?" I asks "yeah!" She says "you guys think you're trying to help me all the time, but I don't need a god damn saving, I was your little fun project at the summer but that's over now" I says

"You were never a project to us" she says "I was! The whole summer you were trying to fix me. But you can't fix something that is already broken, you can't!" I says walking away to the bathroom

I sigh before I pulls out the Cocain I have left and snorts it.

A/n: this chapter was kinda heavy, I feel like so many things have happened

I've been really active the past week but the next chapters will be released less often because I am trying to write more of Haley's story so it does take a while for me to write each chapter

But I felt so sad writing this one, I feel like JJ knew something was up with Haley the past few ones but he only realised in this one and it was such a painful chapter to write.
