We were all standing on the top of a train in Wilmington

"Well, there's like a thousand trains here" Kie says "we know it's car 750X on the track to Raleigh" Pope points out

"Yeah, so now we just gotta find it" Jay says "well, news flash. Weee not getting out of here unnoticed with a giant cross" Kie says

"We have to. We can nab it somewhere further in the country. Just gotta figure out how to stop the train" Pope says

"Yeah, that's easy" I sarcastically says "leave that to me" Jay says "how you gonna do that?" Cleo asks

"I got an uncle up in New Bern, right? When he got tipsy, he'd just throw an old chain across the tracks just for shits and giggles. And uh... that old little chain would stop all the train traffic in coastal Carolina" Jay says

"A chain?" Kie questions "he's actually right" Pope says "that's new" I says "there's a low-voltage current that runs across all rail tracks. Throw a chain on it, you close that circuit. It would read as another train. Crossing light come down. Science is actually pretty sound" Pope explains

"Science. I knew my science. In your face Hales" Jay says, I shakes my head with a chuckle "well, we don't have a chain" I says

"No, but I bet Topper dad has jumper cables in the truck. Would that work?" Sarah asks "yeah" Pope says

"What's going on, are we doing this?" We hear Topper says as he stands by his truck "all right, you all wait here. Me and Pope will go look for it and send a signal once we find it" Cleo says

"Do we actually have a plan right now?" Sarah asks "think we do" Jay says "and without John B" I says "that's impressive" Sarah says "let's not jinx it. Come on" Pope says "don't be a buzzkill, Pope" I says

"Nobody ever listen to me" Cleo says making me and Sarah laugh

Me, Kie and Jay were waiting to Pope's signal. After a while he puts on his flashlight signaling for us

"That's it. We're green" Kie says as we hear a train horn blaring "what's happening?" I asks "you hear that?" Jay asks, we hears a brakes hiss and a metal clanks

"Train is moving, train is moving" Jay says "shit, shit" Kie says as we all gets down of the train and walks towards Topper

"Hey, Sarah" Topper says "do you have jumper cables in there?" Sarah asks as she walks towards the truck "here I am involved in illegal activities" Topper says "he should be thankful for being involved in any activity" I mumbles

"Not that illegal" Sarah says "I am not even close to being okay with this" Topper says "okay" Sarah takes the jumper cables

"Jumper cables. What are we doing with this?" Topper freaks out "Topper, if you don't wanna go, it's fine. We'll take the truck" Sarah says

"The truck?" Topper asks "yeah" Sarah simply answers "hey, I just wanna make sure everyone here is okay with ending up in a federal prison" Topper says

"Uh, if it gets to that, yeah, I'll do it for Pope" Jay says, Topper exhales as me and Jay gets on our bikes, Kie gets to the seat behind me

"Let's go" I starts driving, Jay in his bike behind me and Topper in his truck with Sarah following us, driving after the train

"This should be far enough" Jay says as he parks his bike, I do as well and we starts running to the track but Jay falls down, but quickly gets back on his feet

"You good?" I asks "yeah, I am fine. At least you didn't laughed this time" he throws the jumper cables on the track

"All right? Oh god, you can hear it coming" Jay says as we hears the train "let's dry this sucker" Jay adds

"All right" Kie says "okay, now, all you have to do..." Jay says "do your trick" Kie says "is change the current" Jay adds

"Let's go, baby" Jay says "don't get electrocuted, please" Kie says "yeah, no promises with that" Jay says, I slightly hits him on his shoulder

"Three, two, one... and red" Jay says "moment of truth" Kie says as we all stares on the traffic lights while we hear train blaring in distance

"Come on, baby. Come on" Jay says "okay. That what he would do. That's literally what my- so then it's change red- oh my god" Jay starts to freak out

"Jay, calm down" I says "think, think, think. Okay, what if I blockaded the track? Maybe out like- a tree?" Jay says before I starts laughing

"Haley? You finally lost it?" Kie asks "the train touches both sides of the track, you didn't consented it to the other side, dumbass" I takes the jumper cables and connects it to the other side of the track

We all stands in front of the traffic lighter, and waits again "why isn't it working?" Jay asks "come on, come on" I says "please, we don't have a plan B" Kie says

"I tried my best!" I says before the lights turned red "Yes. Yes. Yes" Kie says before Jay gives me high five and pulls me into a hug "you're genius. I was gonna do that" Jay says

"No. It's all you" I says before we walks off the track "now we just waits" Jay says

"It's gonna work, it's gonna work" he adds "it will" I assures him before we notices the train slows down

"She's slowing down" Jay says "we got brakes, dude" Kie says "that's my boy!" I says

We were about to walk towards the train but Jay stops us "Hales, Kie, back up. Back up" Jay says, I sees a security car drives towards us and panics

"Shhh" Kie says as we back up "shit" Jay says "no, no, no. That's not part of the plan" Kie says

A couple of man came out of the car, one walked towards the train and we lost sight of him

"What is going on here?" We hears a man says "what is this bullshit?" Another on said

We sees them taking out the jumper cables out of the track and takes it with them "that can't be good" I whispers before the traffic lights turns green again

"They had enough time, right?" Kie asks "I hope so" I says

"The train is starting" Jay says "we gotta go get them" Kie says "there's goes the plan. We gotta go help them, come in" Jay says before we starts running towards the train

"Oh!" Jay grunts as he drops off his wallet "we don't have time!" I says as I gets on my bike

"Shit. All right" he pants "hey, you dropped your..." Kie reaches to Jay's wallet "why do you have this?" Kie asks

"Why do he has his wallet?" I asks, confused "if I am gonna be accused of being a thief, might as well get something out of it" Jay says

"Have you lost your mind?" I connects the dots "you're just giving them ammunition" Kie says A man"ammunition for what, Kie? They're already against me, so who cares?" Jay says

"They didn't have a reason. Tour giving them a reason" Kie says "you know what? We don't have time for this? Get on" Jay says

"Get on the bike, Kie" Jay says before we hears a police cars driving near by us "that's Top" Jay points out "and that's the cross. Get on!" He adds as we sees Topper's truck driving with the cross behind it

Kie gets on and we both starts driving after Topper's truck, a police cars behind us "JJ!" Kie says as the police car gets closer to us

"I know, I know" Jay says "JJ, what the fuck are you doing?" I yells as he drives next to Topper truck

"Top, keep going straight!" Jay yells "ya'll be careful, all right?" Topper says "JJ!" I yells "get ready to jump" I hear Jay tells Kie

"What? Have you lost your mind?" Kie asks "probably! Get ready to jump" he repeats "what the fuck?" I questions

"Come on, come on, I've got you" Pope offers Kie his hands "Kie, what are you doing?" I asks as Pope helps Kie gets into the truck

"Haley, keep going after Topper!" Jay yells "no way!" I says "do it, I'll lose them for you!" He says "I am not leaving you!" I says "I trust you" I adds as we shares a look

"Then try and keep up!" He makes me laugh. He drives on one wheel before he stops, I stops after him, he picks up a rock

"Oh, god. Why have I trusted you" I says "let's dance" he says "oh god" I sighs as he revives his engine, we starts driving to the cops car. He throws the rock at their window and we keep driving

"They're not giving up easily" I says as the police turns around the car and keeps chasing us "we're not either" he says

The cops got closer to me so I takes a sharp turn with the motorcycles, delaying the cops. Jay in front of me

"What are you doing?" I asks "do you trust me?" He asks "haven't I proven that?" I says "then take the other pass, trust me!" He says

"I don't want to separate" I says "Hales, trust me" he says "now!" He adds, I takes the other pass, the police keeps driving after Jay while I meet with Topper truck and gets closer to them

"What is he doing?" Pope asks "I don't know!" I says as he drives to the overpass, I think I shouldn't have separated with him

The police was still after him before we sees his motorcycle get thrown from the overpass and smashed. I parks my motorcycle and gasps as I runs to parts of his motorcycle

"Jayj? Jayj? Where is he?" Kie says as I sits down holding part of his motorcycle and put my hands on my hand "no, no, no, no" I says on repeats as I starts crying

"I wish I could says I do that on purpose, but that was the gnarliest power slide I've ever done" Jay appears from behind us as I stands up

"Never trusting you, never again" I walks towards Jay and pulls me into a tight hug "shit, were you crying?" He holds my head and wipes my tears "asshole" I slightly pushes him, making him chuckle

"You're alive! Dude" Pope hugs him "I know I am surprised too" Jay says

"Dude, that was gnarly" Topper says "dude, that was trucking" Jay says as Sarah walks roasts him and hits him "oh, Jesus. Oh god" Jay says

"We really though you did it this time, Jayj" Sarah hugs him "the pleasantries are nice, but we should get out of here" Pope says

"You good?" I asks Jay "yeah, I am sorry for freaking you guys out" he says "I am just glad you're okay" I says

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's roll" Topper says as Kie walks towards Jay "don't... don't ever do that again" Kie shakes her head

"Hey! Hey you kids, don't move" a policeman says "go!" Jay says as they rushes to Topper truck, I get on my bike "stay right there!" He says again as we start driving

Anyways, I've been writing this book for a few days and I finished yesterday so I am gonna continue writing the book from the point I paused
