"Hey, John B, we're gonna figure it out" Jay says "John B! John B!" Sarah says as she was running towards John B "John B! No!" Sarah says before some cop stops her "Stop! Don't touch her!" Kie says "It's okay" I tells Sarah "let's go, Sarah. Let's get out of here" Kie says before we left the court

"Is this a joke? Like, are we in hell or...?" Kie says as we hears comment on John Bs sentence saying he deserved that and justice had been served "I should never come home" Sarah says

"They're gonna kill him guys" Jay says "what if we'd clear John B's name in time?" I asks "how?" Jay asks "I don't know! I don't want to see John B dies" I says "I don't want to either!" Jay asks "I know I am freaking out!" I says

"Guys!" Kie snaps "sorry" I says "sorry for what you and your family have gone through. Thank god the system works" someone says to Ward making us look at them

"can you please shut up? Of course you think the system worked because it was made to protect you and people like you" Kie says "he'll have his day in court. A jury will decide" someone says

"He shouldn't even be in court! You should, 'cause you're a murderer. You have a lot of nerve showing up to court" Kie says "I know you're upset. I understand you're upset, okay?" Ward says

"Upset?" Kie quotes "he's got you all fooled-" Ward says "no I am not just upset!" Kie says as she was about to fight Ward but we all stops her, Thomas and Ward separate her from Ward as well "show some respect!" Ward says

"Muzzle your god damn dog" Jay says to Shoupe pointing at Thomas "get the fuck off her!" I says "why don't you take the kooks down for a change?" Jay says "you wanna get arrested? Get out. You need to go" Shoupe says

"This is bullshit" Kie says "I know" I says "come on. Look, it's not worth it" Sarah says "sorry. You shouldn't be going through this" Palm says to Ward

"It's not a coincidence that your daughter is sitting with us" Kie tells Ward, he looks at Kie, about to say something but Rose pulls him away and they all walks away

"I am gonna testify under oath. I was there. I just need to get a hold of my sister" Sarah says "sister?" Jay asks "Kie, do you have your phone?" Sarah asks "Wheezie is the only other person that knows Rafe wasn't home that day" Sarah says

"Wheezie?" Jay says "I don't know what else to do. I got us into this mess. I am gonna do my best to get us out" Sarah says "Wheezie? Yeah, that will work" Jay says "at least she's trying to think of something" I says

"Well she's right about one thing, we gotta do something. Our boy is a PO-dub righ now, okay? He's held captive by the enemy right now, maybe even scheduled for execution. Are we just gonna sit here?" Jay says

"What's the plan? Kidnap Shoupe?" Kie asks "maybe, like, that's not the worst idea actually" Jay says "oh it's not?" Kie asks "JJ, crazy plans won't help right now" I says "that's the worst idea you've ever heard" Pope says

"It's pretty bad" Sarah says from the living room "you know what? Just stay out of this" Jay tells her "okay, Pope, look, we've been doing everything your way, and how has that been working out?" Jay says "okay. Okay, so what's your plan? You gonna storm a jail, guns-blazing?" Pope asks

"Look, Pope, all I am trying to get you to understand is they got our boy, and are we gonna do here and do nothing? No! We're gonna go get his ass, we're gonna do something about it!" He says "JJ, we're not storming into jail. It's not happening" Pope says

"No, fine, man. Sit in your comfy chair. Do nothing" he says "you think we don't care about John B? You think we don't want him out? Or alive?" I asks

"Doesn't seem like you're willing to do whatever it take to get him out" he says "yeah because trying to break into jail won't keep him alive! It will just make things worse" I says

"You don't get it" he shakes his head "I want to get him out too, JJ" I says "it doesn't look like you're doing something to do it!" He says

"Because I don't know what to do, okay? I am scared" I says "he's my best friend, Haley. I can't let him die" he says

"I know!" I says "you wouldn't get it because you left us the second Rafe asked you too, but I can't just lose him like that. I am not like you" he says

"What does Rafe have to do with this?" I asks "you left, and you didn't care about us. I care about John B" he says

"That's not true, I do care" I holds my tears "I am gonna see what I can do. Make something happen, even if I have to do it by myself" he storms out

"He's just upset, he doesn't mean that-" Kie says "I need to go" I walks away as I shakes my head

"I haven't seen you in a while" Kyle says as I enters his house "yeah, uh I am just.. I am here for my meth" I says

"Yeah, yeah" he says getting it for me "thanks" I hands him the money "are you okay? You don't look so good" he says "I am fine" I sits down on his couch before he sits next to me

"I've heard about John B" he says "the whole island have" I takes a pill "are you sure you're okay?" He asks

"I am here because I want to forget about it, alright?" I asks "yeah, I get it" he says "there is some party this weekend at one of my friends, you wanna come?" He asks "I am not sure if I'd make it" I says

"Alright, but if you wanna come you're very welcome" he says "thanks" I says as I lays down

"Hey, uh... I know I am your drug dealer and all, but if you need to talk you can talk to me" he says "thank you, man. I appreciate it" I says

"Always" he says "I just need to lay down here for a few moments" I says "yeah, okay. Do your thing" he walks away as I notices a missed calls from my mom, she left a voice message too

"You understand the things that I've taught you. Not to drink alcohol, not to use drugs. Don't use that cocaine or marijuana. Because that stuff is highly addictive"

"When people become weed-heads they become sluggish, lazy, stupid and unconcerned. Sluggish, lazy, stupid and unconcerned. That's all marijuana does to you, okay?"

"This is mom. Unless you're taking it under doctor's, um, control. Then it's regulated
Do not smoke marijuana, do not consume alcohol"

"Haley" My mom says with a disappointment tone as I enters the house "mom, I really don't have the energy for another fight" I says

"There have been missing money in my wallet again" She says "well, you should probably look out for your money better" I says

"I forgave you for running away to Charleston without telling me and this is what I get?" She asks "fuck you, ma" I says "fuck you? Don't talk to me that way" she says before I rolls my eyes "are you high right now?" She asks

"No!" I lies "you're not using right now? Are you using?" She asks again "No, mom! I am not fucking high right now!" I snaps

"What happened to getting sober huh? Is this because of the whole John B thing?" She asks "what?" I asks "I saw it on the news, everyone did" she says

"it's not that big of a deal" I says "then tell me what that is that you're taking" she says "it's just math" I says "It's not very often and I don't do it much it's not that big of deal" I adds

"Haley, it is!" She says, I get quite "for how long?" She asks "just a couple of months" I says

"Why?" She asks "I don't know" I says shaking my head "Haley, why? Tell me, why?" She asks again "I don't know!" I says

"I thought we were close" she says "we were, until dad died and you started blaming for his death and treating me like I am no longer your daughter" I says "can you blame me?" She asks

"Look at us now! This isn't who you are!" She says "mom I-" I says with a broken voice "this is not who we are" she adds "you realised it too late" I says

"It's never too late" she shakes her head "it is!" I says "Look, I think you have a serious problem Haley, and it's needed to be taking care of" she says

"You didn't even care I was doing drugs not long too ago! What the fuck is this?" I says "I didn't know it went that far!" She says

"You think you have this under control? And I understand how scared you are" she says "I understand why I do things, okay? It doesn't make me any different" I says

"And you're just embarrassed because I am ruining your perfect reputation because, I was like... I was like this amazing thing like your special creation or something and you don't like who I am now" I says

"Who are you, Haley?" She asks "this is me ma, here. this is who I am!" I says frustrated "I still know you Haley, and this isn't who you are. You don't steal money from me, you don't yell or swear at me, you respects me" she says

"You yells at me too! What do you expects from? I have to earn your respect but you don't have to earn mine? What is that?" I asks "I am trying to be better, I am trying to understand you" she says

"Why didn't you try when I needed you?" I asks "because I was hurt too!" She says "look, I know I handled things bad but I wanna fix it, I wanna help you" she says

"I don't want your fucking help, don't you understand that? Jesus Christ! Then what is wrong with you then? What the hell is wrong with you?" I yells walking to my room

"Oh so I am the problem?" She yells "you're the one who's doing it! You're the one who's causing it! And you're the only one who can stop it!" She adds before I locks my room

"Hi guy" I says entering the Chateau "where the hell have you been yesterday?" Kie asks "what happened?" I asks

"JJ happened" she answers "I was trying to save my best friend!" Jay says "guys- hold on, what happened?" I asks

"His plan to break into jail didn't work" Pope says "what? What did you do?" I asks "at least I tried doing something" he says

"you're blaming me for not breaking into jail with you?" I asks "I am not blaming you for that but maybe answering to our calls was a good start" he says

"Guys, can you like, not fight for once?" Kie says "whatever" Jay says before he puts some wax on his board

"That's a lot of wax on your board. Put too wax, it's gonna be slippery" Pope says "are you telling me how to wax my board?" Jay asks "Just saying that's a lot of wax" Pope says

"No, no, no, no. You're telling me how to wax my board. Are you kidding?" Jay says "that's a colossal waste of wax" Pope says "guys, really?" Kie says before we hears a car honking

"Did you hear that?" Jay asks before we keeps hearing car honks and we turns around seeing the Twinkie "hold on. Am I dreaming?" Jay asks "are you serious?" Kie says "oh my god" I says with a smile "guess who's out of the clink, boy!" John B says

"No freaking way man!" Pope says before we all hugs him "my boy is out of the can!" Jay says "we missed you" Kie says "I missed you guys too" he says "who'd you do it? You bust out?" Jay asks

"Uh, they dropped the charges" he answers "that's great" I says "so you're telling me I did all that work for nothing?" Jay says

"Oh, the most elaborate escape plan of all time?" Pope mocks "Foolproof" Kie says teasing him "yeah, it was, actually" Jay says

"Wait, where's Sarah?" John B asks looking around "No, no, no. Where... where... where's Sarah?" He asks "she went to go meet Wheezie last night, she didn't come back" Kie answers "Wait, what?" I asks "yeah" Pope says

"So Sarah just dips and doesn't call?" John B asks as we all were sitting by the dock "yeah, man. She just left her bag. Didn't tell anybody" Pope says

"Okay, dude. I... I... I really think Ward got to her. I mean the dude tried to have me killed in jail" John B says "what?" Kie asks "yeah, he sent somebody to the prison who yoked me up and almost killed me" John B says

"Are you serious?" I asks, what the fuck happened while I was getting high? I thought to myself "yes" John B says "do we know who this dude was?" Jay asks "No, I have no idea" John B answers

"Dude, I just swear to god, one day I am gonna kill that some of a bitch" John B says "it's okay" Kie says "No, Kie, it's not okay. We gotta find Sarah" John B says

"No, literally, it's okay. She's right there" Kie says pointing behind us before we all turns around seeing Sarah on a boat with Topper "John B?" Sarah says

"John B!" She says "oh it's worse than Ward" I asks "Haley" Kie says "what?" I asks before I gets a glare from her

"Hi" John B says as he hugs Sarah "hey" she says laughing "oh my god. I am so glad you're okay" John B says "I didn't know if I'd see you again" Sarah says

"What happened?" She asks pulling out of the hug "they dropped all the charges" he answers "what?" She asks with a smile "yeah, no, yeah, I am a free man" he says

"That's amazing" Sarah says before they hugs again "I know. It's great. But... but listen Sarah, they're coming after Rafe" John B says

"Good. He's completely unhinged. He jumped me last night" she says "what?" I asks "that's why I didn't come back" She explains

"Yeah, man. Rafe has lost his mind. Literally almost drowned his own sister. Thankfully I got there... got there just in time" Topper says

"Yeah. He did" Sarah says "why are you still here?" I asks Topper "always been such a pleasant person Haley" he says with a forced smile and I roll my eyes

"Uh, well, I guess I owe you one, Topper, don't I?" John B says "it's all good. I mean, somebody has to rescue your girlfriend, right?" Topper says

"Uh, that's funny because she's not my girlfriend, right?" John B says looking at Sarah

"Uh... well, what is she then?" Topper asks with a chuckle "tell him" John B tells Sarah "I am, I am with him" Sarah says making all of us confused

"Gotcha" Topper says with a laugh  "you're with him. Okay, yeah. I just, needed a little clarity there. You guys clearly on that?" Topper says looking at us "I think it's clear you gotta go now" Jay says "yeah" I agrees

"Think I'll head out. It's about that time" Topper says "Topper. Thank you" Sarah says hugging Topper "of course, I am just glad you're okay" Topper says before he finally leaves

"What's up with you?" Jay asks as he sees me lying on some couch at the Chateau, everyone was in a different spot at the Chateau and we were just chilling "nothing" I says before he sits next to me taking a sip from his beer

"You have been like... sleepy all day. Are you sure you're all right?" he asks "yeah, yeah, never been better. with John B and Sarah around it's normal again" I says

"I am so glad you said that" he says with a smile "yeah" I says "uh, where have you been yesterday? We called you couple of times" he asks "I was asleep, sorry" I says "oh alright, I am sorry for having a short fuse lately, I feel like I am getting pissed about everything " he says

"No, it's okay. I know it's been a hard on you" I says "thanks, and I am glad your doing better by the way" he says

"Mhm" I smiles at him "hold on" he says as his phone rings "who is that?" I asks "Guffy" he shrugs before he answers

"We're coming" Jay says before he hangs up as his facial expression gets worried "what's going on?" I asks as he runs towards Pope and I follows him

"Pope, I just got a called from Guffy, something happened to your pops" Jay says "what?" Pope asks before they runs off and me and Kie sharers a concern look

"John B! Sarah! Come on" Kie yells before we follows them

"Let me know if I am hurting you" Sarah says as she was disinfecting a cut on Heywards head "you're doing just fine" Heyward says 

"Okay" she says as she finishes "thank you honey" Heyward says "Pop, what happened?" Pope asks "oh, I should've known better. He came in just as I was about to lock up. Caught me by surprise" Heyward says

"Once he had me down, he put me his knee in my chest, and he asked me about that... that... that key from that... that drawing you showed me. And in case you're wondering, I ain't tell him nothing. Now did you track it down?" Heyward asks before Pope pulls a key out of his pocket and hands it to Heyward

"I found it in Mee-maw's old apartment above the pharmacy just like you said" Pope says "shit, boy, you should've gave this to me. I wouldn't have had to take a beating" Heyward says

"What is the big deal anyways? It ain't worth anything. Why they want it so bad?" Heyward asks "I don't know. First, I get this letter telling me that I need to go to Charleston and then I meet a rich lady who wants me to give her a key that I don't even know was in my family" Pope says

"None of it make any sense" Kie says "well, don't y'all just sit here whining about it. Figure it out!" Heyward says "No. I am just gonna give the key to that lady. It's not worth-" Pope says but gets interrupted

"No, no, no. Did I raise you to back down from a fight, boy?" Heyward says "No, sir" Pope says shaking his head "well, all right" Heyward says

"Now, I... I didn't think about it before. I admit that. But now... now?" He says pointing on his bruises he got from the man "I am interested" he says

"Well, did they say why they wanted it?" He asks "something about an old cross. I think it might be some kind of a lost treasure" Pope says "You know who you should talk to? You great-grandmother, Mee-maw" Heyward says

A/n: I am sorry I it seems like I am torturing Haley I just want to keep her storyline realistic

And the few chapters of her at the summer coping with John B and Sarah's 'death' was really important to understand her character and her storyline right now, it will get more complicated soon

In this chapter, I feel like Haley's mom, Sonia, realises her mistakes and tries to makes up for it, not too successfully though
