After Jay left I didn't know where else to go, I didn't want to come home because I just want a break from everyone, so I ended up walking to Kyle, again

"You again?" He asks "come on, let me in" I says and he sigh "what now?" He ask as we sits on his bed "my boyfriend found my shit and he flashed them" I pulls out some cash I took from my mom a few days ago

"Haley, what's up with you?" He asks "huh?" I asks "you showed up yesterday at 4am at my house asking for drugs, and now again?" He asks

"You're a drug dealer, why do you care?" I asks "I don't know, I just do" he shrug "come on don't be an asshole" I says

"Fine" he says giving me more meth "thanks" I says handing him the money "isn't this the part where you supposed to leave?" He asks "I need a place to stay for tonight" I says

"What? You can't stay here" he says "don't be like that, you live without your parents what's the problem?" I asks before a little kid walks into the room

"Who is she?" The kid asks and I quickly put the meth in my pocket so he wouldn't see it "she's no one, she has to leave" Kyle says "shut up. No I don't, what's your name?" I asks the kid

"It's Chris" he says "my name is Haley" I shakes his hand "he's my brother" Kyle says "oh I didn't know you has a brother, how old are you Chris?" I asks "six" he answers, I smile at him

"Come on Haley" he says grabbing me as he takes me to the living room "what?" I asks "you should go, I gave to what you want, don't you have friends you can stay at?" He asks

"No" I answer, I watch him thinking about it "just for tonight" he says "thank you, thank you, thank you" I says hugging him "yeah no problem" he says

"Do you mind sleeping on the couch?" Kyle asks "not at all" I says "alright, I'll go get you blanket and a pillow" he says "thanks" I says before he hands it to me "wait Kyle" I says before he's about to walk away "what?" He asks

"Can I ask you something?" I asks "sure" he says "why are you a drug dealer? I mean you used to be really smart in class" I says "after my parents passed away I had to raise Chris by my own, and one of my friends asked me to help him sell some shit, I had to take the job" he explains

"Oh, shit" I says "now it's my turn" he says "for what?" I asks "now I ask you a question" he says "okay" I says "why are you doing drugs?" He asks

"It just... it seems like the solution for so many people and sort of a way out of reality and I kinda need it right now" I answer "is this because of your dad or the whole thing with John B?" He asks, I glare at him

"Don't tell me you also think John B was capable of murdering someone" I says "that's what they are saying in the news I mean... are they wrong?" He asks

"Yes! John B could never do that" I says "how could you know?" He asks "because I was there" I says "what?" He asks "I was there when Peterkin got shot, saw the whole thing" I adds

"why? how? I got so many questions right now" he says "I am here because I want to forget about that shit" I says

"Yeah, I am sorry, I was a bit insensitive" Kyle says "that's alright" I says "good night, Haley" he says "good night, and uh... thanks" I says, he smiles at me before walking away

"Haley?" I wake up hearing Kyles voice "what?" I rubs my eyes "uh, your phone has been ringing" he hands me my phone "shit" I looks at all of the missed calls from Jay, Kie, Pope and my mom

"I think it's time for you to leave" he says "yeah, probably" I ties my shoes "I'll see your around" he says "yeah, I'll see ya" I walks away

When I comes back home my mom was waiting on me "where have you been?" She asks "I was at Kie's" I lies "I called Kiara, she said she haven't seen you since you were at the police tent" she says

"Are you fucking high?" She asks "Leave me alone" I says walking away to my room "hey, no don't walk away from me when I am talking to you" she says as I lay down on my bed

"You can't just come back home high after two days I haven't seen you and lie straight to my face" she says "I don't have to tell you everything about my life" I says

"Oh, really?" she questions "can you please just give me a break!" I snaps "you don't own that shit, I don't get a break, why would you get one?" She asks

"Mom I literally don't have any powers to argue with you right now" I says "So, what is your plans? Keep sleeping all day? hang out being high with strangers?" She asks

"God, can you stop judging me for five seconds? Please?" I says "you know what? Good luck with this new attitude" she walks away

After she walk away I takes another pill before going to sleep

After about 2 hours I gets waken up by Jay again, but he wasn't alone this time "leave me alone" I says "nah, it's been enough time that you've been depressed and shit" Kie says

"We haven't seen you in days and you've been ignoring all of our calls and massages" Pope says "I just need some time to myself, is that too much?" I asks

"Yes if you spend that time being high" Jay says before I glare at him as Kie and Pope stare at me "it's just weed" I says "liar" Jay says

"Fuck off" I says "Haley?" Kie asks "thank you so much JJ, seriously" I says "you missed John B and Sarahs funereal because you've been too busy being high?" Pope says

"And Peterkin's" Kie adds "you just had to tell them?" I looks at Jay "hey don't blame me, you're the one who didn't talk to us for days, what was I supposed to do? Your mom was freaking out yesterday, we are worried about you" Jay answers

"Worried about me? All you guys do is judging me" I says "because it doesn't feel like I know who I am talking to anymore" Kie says

"You think I wanna be like this? you all standing here judging me like you know what I am going through" I snaps

"We do know what you're going through" Pope says "no you don't. I can't eat, I cant sleep. I can't stop thinking about my father or my mom who is blaming me for his death"

"I can't stop thinking about the way I could've save Peterkin or how I couldn't save our friends. I can't think about the fact that they didn't deserve to die. And the only time, the only single time when I am at peace is when I am high" I says with teary eyes

"So you don't get to judge me for finding peace" I adds "I just... I don't understand what it has to do with drugs. We're all going through somethings and maybe your shit is tougher but it's no excuse to take drugs" Kie says

"You don't get it, you would never get it" I sigh "you're right, I don't. You know what? We have been trying to understand you but it's just impossible" she says

"I just thought of all people... you would understand" I looks at Kie "me? Why would I understand using drugs?" She asks "because you used to just get me, without judging" I says

"Well I am sorry that I don't understand why you are so sad that the person who killed big John is dead" she spits "because this person used to be my dad!" I says

"I know he was a terrible person but I just can't erase him as my father, I tried to but I can't! Okay?" I says "so don't blame me for not feeling sorry that he's dead" she says

"The only thing I needed from you was to be my friend" I says "guess we both failed at that one" she says before she leaves

"I am sorry Haley" Pope says before following Kiara, I share a last look with Jay before he leaves as well

JJ's POV

I didn't want to leave, but I felt like I have to fix everything with Kie and Haley. After we left we went to Kie's house

"What was that?" I asks Kie "what do you mean?" She asks "you didn't have to talk to her like this" I says "are you seriously taking her side?" She asks "yes!" I says

"what's the problem with how I talked to her?" She asks "you could have been more understanding" I explains "more understanding? Our friend is doing drugs! And you're trying to excuse that shit?" She says

"No I am not- come on Pope help me on this" I looks at Pope for help, he shrugs me off "tell me something, do you excuse everyone who is doing drugs?" She asks

"What's that supposed to mean?" I says, getting pissed "do you excuse Rafe action now?" She says "oh so now we're comparing Haley to a murder?" I asks "Kie you're going too far" Pope says

"Now you're getting involved?" I says "yes! I don't want you guys to fight" Pope says "seriously Kiara? Rafe?" I asks with disbelief

"You know how she suffered from their relationship, how could you say that?" I asks "because she know how that effect someone and she still does it!" She says

"No, you are not going to involved Rafe in this" Pope says "Rafe was doing it for fun, Rafe is just a spoiled kook while your friend is in pain! If you can't see the differences I really don't know who you are" I says

"Haley is your friend and she needs us" I adds "she doesn't even want to help herself!" Kie argues "so we're just supposed to give up on her?" I asks

"We can't do anything else" she says "what happened to you? You are such a good friend but when Haley needs us the most you just gonna bail?" I says "because it's out of our control! JJ, drugs is real shit, it's not just weed. I don't want to be around someone who's doing it" she says

"What would Sarah think about this? Huh? What would John B?" I asks "You know what? We're trying to deal with that shit as well! We are hurting as well, we've lost our friends as well" she starts

"You don't see any of us getting stoned to forget about our problems when it gets a little rough" she says "see that? That's the reason she didn't want me to tell you, you can't think about anyone but yourself!" I snap

"Because I put myself first that means I don't care about anyone else?" She asks "you can't see how much your friend is suffering" I says

"I think we should just leave her alone until she gets back to herself" Kie says "and hope she won't kill herself by then?" Pope asks

"He's right, you don't want to help? That's fine but I am not letting my girl die. I am sick of hearing you telling us we should leave her alone because it's obviously not what she needs right now" I stands up "I am with JJ" Pope says before he follows me

"Where are you going?" Kie asks "to help our fucking friend" I answer "wait" Kie stands "what?" I asks "I'll go with you" she says

"No, you're not doing us a favour, you're not  going if you're going to say some fucked up unhelping shit" I says "yeah, and she's probably still mad at you so you should stay" Pope stay

"Okay, but update me" she says "oh now you care about her" I rollls my eyes before walking away

"So... where are we going?" Pope asks me "I hope she's still in her house, I don't really know what she's doing this past weeks by herself" I answers

"Yeah, we probably should've check up on her sooner" Pope says "but instead we listen to Kie, saying we should let her be alone" I says shaking my head as we were on our way to Hales house

"I don't know what's wrong with her lately, she has been off" Pope says "she might be going through something as well, but she shouldn't talk to Haley like that" I says

"I know, I'll talk to her" Pope says before we arrives at Hale's house, we knocks a couple of times before, Sonia answers the door

"Hey, JJ, Pope, what are you doing here?" She asks "we are just looking for Haley, is she here?" I asks "no, sorry" she replies

"Well, where is she?" Pope asks "uh, I don't really know what's going on with her lately, but she has been at a lot of parties recently, I am pretty sure she is in one right now" she says shrugging

"Thanks" I says before we walks away "Haley hates parties" Pope says  "I Know, this is so not her" I says "so... what are we gonna do now?" Pope asks

"She won't answer my phone, but maybe Kie could help" I calls Kie

"JJ?" Kie picks up the phone "do you know if there any kook party that is going on right now?" I asks

"What? A kook party?" She asks confused "come on" I says "uh, yeah I think there is one, why?" She asks

"Send. me the location" I says "JJ, what is going on?" She asks "she's not home, Sonia said she might be at a party" I explains

"I am sending the location" she says "thanks" I hangs up

Me and Pope were walking to the party's location, when we walked in we saw a a regular kook party, it was really loud and I just know Haley would hate that kind of party

"Have you seen Haley?" I asks some guys I recognise "nah, sorry" they all answer "maybe she's just not here" Pope suggest after we asked a lot of peoples

"You guys looking for Haley?" Someone I can't recognise comes up to us "yeah, how do you know her?" I asks "I am Kyle, a friend" he says "where is she?" I asks "I don't know, I think I saw her going upstairs" he says

"Keep looking for her here, I am going to search upstairs" I looks at Pope, he nods before I walk upstairs to search for her

I opens some doors and saw people making out, but before I quit I opens the last door and see some stranger making out with her as she's passed away

"Get the fuck away from her" I shouts before I get him the fuck away from her and punch him a few times. I help her get up and I carry her "what happened?" Pope asks as he sees me holding her, she was still passed away

"Come on" I tells Pope before we left, heading to Kie's, we snicks in and put Haley in Kie's guest room "guys what the fuck?" Kie asks "sh!" I shush her as we went to Kie's bedroom because I didn't want to wake Haley up

"JJ?" Kiara asks "it's way worse than we thought" I says "what? What do you mean?" Pope asks "I took this from her pocket" I hands them the meth I found on her jacket

"There could me more, I don't know..." I says "I'll go flash these" Kid says "what happened upstairs?" Pope asks, I shake my head

"I can't protect her" I breaks down before Kiara walks in "what happened?" Kie asks "she was passed away and someone probably took advantage of it and.." I says

"Wait, what? Who?" Pope asks "I don't know, I couldn't recognise him" I wipes my tears "have she woke up?" Kie asks "No" I answers "I'll snick into her house and search for more drugs" she says

"You guys stay here and be with her if she wakes up" she adds "what changed?" I asks "Sarah would want me to protect her" she shrugs, I nods at her before she walks away

"Do you think she will remember what happened?" Pope asks "I don't know, I hope not. She was passed out" I answers

"If you're tired you can go home, I'll wait on her and Kie will give me some company soon" I says "no, it's fine. I wanna be with her when she'll wake up" he says "thanks Pope" I says

A/n: in a few chapters I'll be back to the outer banks original plot, I'll continue the plot of the second season, I just think those kind of chapters is important to know more about Haley's character

I'll keep writing this own plot for couple more chapters before I'll be back to the outer banks plot
