Marinette- "Did you want to talk about anything specific?"

Adrien- "I'd like to know you better."

Plagg- "Can't they just get to the good stuff?"

Sabine- "MY SHIP!"

(Back to the present)

    For about fifteen minutes, all Marinette and Adrien did was talk and eat. It was beginning to bore two kwamii's to death. They're conversations ranged from fashion to Adrien's father and food. Suddenly Adrien said something that finally piqued their interest.

    "What about superheroes? Which one's your favorite?" He asked.

    "Fake or real?" Marinette asked back while eating a macaron.

    "Um, Real." he said.

    Marinette took a deep breath. She knew so many heroes, ones that Master Fu told her about and ones Adrien would probably never know. "Well that's a hard choice." 'Because I know who most of them are.' "But I would have to say..." 'Alya's your best friend, Nino too. Aspic is Adrein, but Marinette shouldn't even know about him.' "...Chat Noir." she finalized.

    Adrein's eyes flitted to her face and he blushed, quickly hiding it with a croissant.

    "What about you." Mari asked back innocently as Adrien was 'choking' on his croissant.

    "Ladybug." He said with no hesitation and he looked at Marinette but she wasn't looking back.

    "That's the thing. You didn't hesitate. There are other hero's you know. How come everyone just loves ladybug. Every one of them should be equal, I have my own reasons for favoring Chat Noir." She said slightly, raising her voice.

    "So do I. About Ladybug I mean."Adrien said while looking directly at Marinette, but he was curious. "But what are yours."

She was a bit taken aback from this and decided to be careful or he'd know who she was (HE ALREADY DOES! Blueberry.) "Well, I've run into him a few times..." Mari started.

Before Adrein knew... what he knew, he would have thought she was talking about Evilstrater, Glaciater, or that time she told him she was in love with him. But now he knew better, a lot better. He knew those were all covere in order to hide her identity and still defeat the akuma, except for glaciater, he was still confused and a bit upset by that one.

"... Even though he's a bit of a showoff and is so annoying with all those puns-" 'That hurt' Adrien thought to himself as she continued, "I know how incredibly kind, selfless, courageous, caring, and what a HUGE romantic he can be." they both chuckled and Mari sighed in content.

They both sat in silence for a while contemplating, well... each other. "Marinette?" Adrein said to catch her attention.

"Yes?" she said, turning to make eye contact with him.

"I have something to tell you..." he said, which made both kwami's perch up and Marinette's heart beat erratically. "I kno-"

"AKUMA! RUN!" This was heard among screams from the park surrounding them. All four jolted up to an upright position with looks of surprise and disappointment.

Without a word they both ran in opposite directions off into the trees and brush. Tikki and Plagg looked at each other in annoyance and sorrow at leaving each other before going to join their owners.

Adrein and Marinette stopped at the clearing part of the park and their eyes narrowed and their faces got red.

"I LEFT ADRIEN/MARINETTE FOR MISTER PIGEON!!!!" they both shouted angrily.

Yes. Pigeons roamed paris in thick flocks which can only mean one thing. Mr. Ramier has been akumatized for the 28th time.

"Achoo! Why" Adrien complained looking at Plagg beside him. He only folded his arms and grunted angrily "Don't look at me!Let's just get this over with."

"Plagg claws out!"

"Tikki? Do you have any idea what he was going to say?" Marinette asked the kwami litteraly hovering over her shoulder.

"I might have an idea. Lets just transform." Tikki said exasperatedly and Mari nodded her head.

"Tikki, spots on."

Both heroes grudgingly holsted themselves up onto the Paris rooftops to, as Plagg said, "get it over with". Chat quickly spotted Ladybug and lept over to join her.

"Achoo! Do you think Hawky knows about my allergy and is doing this purely to annoy me... Achoo!" Chat said with an obvious stuffy nose and clear annoyance.

"I do pity you chat noir but I have a date to get back to." Ladybug said as she scanned for Mr pigeon and quickly spotted him in front of notre dam.

His cat ears perked up and a goofy smile grew on his face. 'She considered that a date!? YES! YES! Score for team Chat Noir! Now I just have to tell her. But... as myself. That's the deal I made with Plagg. Ok, go.' He set a determined smirk on his face and followed his lady.

The fight lasted all but thirty seconds.  As the pigeons went back to... wherever pigeons came from, Chat took a sigh of relief as his nose cleared and he took a refreshing breath.

"So... a date!" Chat smirked smugly at his beloved partner. She sighed and strapped her yoyo around her waist.

"Well, I think it was a date. However, neither of us classified it as a date. I don't even know why I called it that." Ladybug said and chat's ears wilted a smidge because he was also a bit confused.

"Well, do you like him?" Chat asked hopefully.

Ladybug smiled lovingly into the distance before seeing chat's kitten eyes and blushing furiously. "I- uh- Curiosity killed the cat!" she got out and chat wiggled his eyebrows.

"You know what I'm going to say to that."

The flustered ladybug, which chat found absolutely adorable, crossed her arms, "then- I- Plead the fifth!"

Chat's head cocked to the side and straightened from his position of leaning on his pole as he looked at Ladybug befuddled. "You know we're in France right?"

"Well, the Author's American." Everyone pauses and looks at me while I'm in my pajamas on my bed with my laptop. My face pales and I laugh nervously.

Ok, I'm on it. Just keep going. I make a sweeping motion with my hands signaling for them to continue as I get up with more flex tape.

The Miraculous beep and both chat and ladybug look at eachother. "I've got to go chat. See you soon." then she yo-yo's back to the park.

Chat wistfully watches her and sighed as he can't protest. "Sooner than you think Maribug."

He goes to an ally nearby the park and detransforms pulling out cheese immediately. "Here you go Plagg."

The black cat kwami groaned and quickly gulped down the stinky camembert. "Come on kid. You were this close." he made his paws a millimeter away. "Why'd you run away? You could have told her then!"

Adrien scratched the nip of his neck with his hand and thought about his mistake before shrugging his shoulders. "Trial and error, Plagg."

Rolling his eyes he muttered, "Yeah, and next time you'll say 'third times the charm'."

"Ready to go?" Cinnamon roll said, opening his shirt.

Plagg nodded and flew in before Adrien full out sprinted back into the park to try and find Marinette.

He found her red faced and sitting on a bench on the edge of the park. A red blob sat in her lap then saw Adrien and pretended to hide but only moved to glare at Adrien.

He faltered at that but kept going and sat down next to Mari. They both sat in silence for a while before...

    "Adrien-"

    "Marinette-"
