Author's Note:

Hello everyone,

So on Tuesday the 26 of February was the finale of season 2 of The Gifted. I watched that episode so many times after it aired and I can't believe that Reed is dead, same with Reeva.

This will be the last chapter for this book for a while, maybe not I'm not fully a hundred percent sure yet, but when this chapter is up this book will be put on hold until further notice. Like when season 3 is on, I might put more chapters up if I do come up with more ideas, but this chapter will be it for now.

Lorna's POV

This stunt that Marcos pulled on me was wrong. Thankfully Reeva got their in time before Marcos got out of the parking garage. Dawn misses Marcos, I couldn't tell her what Reeva did to him. I'm not even sure what happened to him.

"Mommy when is dad coming home?" Dawn asks.

"In a few days honey. Daddy had to go on a special mission for Auntie Reeva."

"Hey Lorna, may I come in?" Esme asks knocking on the door.

"Auntie Esme." Dawn smiled walking towards her to give her a hug.

"Hi Dawn. How is my favorite little niece." Esme smiled.

"I'm good, I wonder what happened to my daddy though. I hope he's okay." Dawn smiled.

Esme looked at me as she and I both knew Dawn couldn't know what happened to Marcos. "Your daddy is okay, I dropped him off at his mission for Reeva."

"What's up Esme?"

"Well Reeva sent Lauren and Andrew to have sibling bonding day and she is with them to keep things unde control if something is to happen. She asked me to make sure training gets done while she's away. You ready for training. My sisters can look after Dawn while you train." Esme explains.

"What do you say Dawn. You want Aunties Sophie and Phoebe watch and play with you as I train."

"Can they play with me as I watch you train?" Dawn asks jumping up and down on the bed.

"Sure Dawn. We can watch your mommy train." Sophie and Phoebe say in unison.

Reeva's POV

I feel proud of myself. I manage to regain Lauren trust in me, the girls, the Inner Circle, and for our cause. All I had to do was let her and Andrew go bowling like they used to as kids and let them be themselves with no training or mission to worry about.

I left the Von Strucker siblings alone and went to go meet Bendict Ryan at the place he works. Luckily he and I have a history of being on the same side.

"Hello Bendict."

"Hello Reeva, what can I do for you and your mutant pals?" Bendict asked.

"As you know the underground sewers where the morlocks used to live is now taken care, I need you and your purifiers to stay out of the tunnels and turn off the computers systems at the Pentagon, the white house, and the sential Servives."

"No problem. How is the project with Fenris going? I heard the girl has become more afraid than before." Bendict softly smiling.

"Things are back under control now. The Diaz man screwed it up, but he far gone now."

"Really. Eclipse what did you do to him?" Bendict smirks.

"I don't like to go into much detail, but the next time anyone seems him which will be alive. He will be a whole new person that makes him seem like the old him, but it's not really him."

"Anything else I need to know Reeva?" Bendict asks.

"No, thank you for your time. Just remember our deal at the end of this war and mutant uprising." Bendict muttered.

Walking back to the bowling alley with a smirk on my lips. Andrew and Lauren were eating pizza as I walked into the bowling alley. I joined them and sat down in the open chair at their table.

"How was the first few games my friends."

"Lauren lost all the games so far, but she did use her powers to knock down the pins with her powers." Andrew laughed.

Lauren started to laugh herself high fiving Andrew as she knew he was right. It was nice to see them getting alone and laughing together.

"I'm glad you two are having fun. I thought since after everything that has been going on, this would be a nice break for you both. Now I want you too to enjoy the rest of the day together away from headquarters and relax. Don't worry about paying for anything it's all taken care of no matter where you guys go."

"Thank you Reeva. We deeply appreciate." Lauren smiled.

"Let's go Lauren there is a carnival not far from here." Andrew smiled leading Lauren outside with him to the carnival.

"Have fun you too."

Andrew's (Andy's) POV

With this one quick trip to the carnival with Lauren, the frost sisters are going to meet up with us and take Lauren and I to destroy the sentenil services headquarters, the petagon, and the white house.

All I have to do is get Lauren comfortable and win a few games for her, then the five of us will go destroy the government buildings.

"You do know you don't have to win all these games and get a price for me." Lauren jokes.

"See I knew I could get smile out of you."

"Oh shut up!" Lauren blushed punching my arm playfully.

"Seems like you two are having a good time." The frost sisters say in unison behind us.

Lauren and I turn around to see Esme and her sisters standing there. Another reason why the frost sisters were here because Lauren has been fighting against the Inner Circle like Marcos was and were here to prove mutant haters that their wrong a lion heart is noble and good, so is the Inner Circle.

The Frost Sisters have their eyes glow blue getting into Lauren's mind only.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Lauren asked falling to the ground.

"YES. I'D LIKE TO KNOW MYSELF. I'M A MUTANT HERE AS WELL, AND THESE TWO LOVELY KIDS WERE JUST STANDING HERE. NOW LET HER-"

"Chill sir. We know these two mutants." Esme explained.

Lauren looks up at me in anger and disgust. "Andy why are they doing this?"

"I'll explain on the way Lauren. Promise not to fight this. We have a mission to do and it involves both of us."

Esme and her sisters eyes Glow even more and I watch Lauren stand up and off we went to the Sentinel Services Headquarters.

Lauren's POV

Walking down in the tunnels where the morlocks used to live. I continued to keep fighting against the Frost Sisters mind control on me. It's becoming harder to fight back, but I know if I don't try to cooperate they might hurt Andy because of me.

"Stop resisting it Lauren. Your only going to make it worse on yourself." Sophie briefly said in my head.

"What kind of mission is this, that you are forcing me to do this? Isn't the whole point of us being at the Inner Circle is that we want to help mutants and give them freedom. How is this freedom when your forcing me to help you?"

"Lauren I'll explain this all to you later. Can you please do me a favor and help us with this mission." Andy pleaded.

"No Andy. I'm letting them use Fenris as an excuse to tear down three buildings even their they belong to mutant haters. You'll have to finish this so called mission without me."

Walking past them, I broke free from the frost sisters control, luckily for me I manage to get far.

"Andrew do it now." I heard The frost yell out loud.

Wondering what they meant by that, I felt a gust of wind hit me, and I flew back hitting the wall. Looking up I could see Andy coming towards me alone.

"Sorry Lauren, but I need you, and I can't do this alone." Andy sadden.

"So hurting your only sister is the only way to fix that?"

"I'm trying to say that if you help us with taking down the buildings. We can be Fenris like we'd talked about." Andy sighs putting out his hand for me to grab.

Accepting his hand to stand up. A small light appeared in our hands. I pulled my hand away quickly before any more damage could be done down here in the tunnels.

"Shall we go then?" The frost asks Andy and I.

"Lauren?" Andy asks me, offering to take my hand.

"I'm still fully against this, but yeah we can go." I take Andy hand gently enough that we don't activate Fenris.

The five of us head to sentinel services first like as planned, as we made it to the building, I looked at the building, and I started to have doubts about doing this even more.

"You know what your here for. Let's change the world." Sophie and Phoebe smirk.

I could feel and hear the frost sisters title their heads and have their eyes glow.

"Time to hold hands." The frost sisters say in unison.

Andy looks at me smiling and grabs my hand. Our hands start to glow brightly.

"That's it." Phoebe smirked.

"Just relax." Sophie smirked.

Andy and I rise our hands up in the air as our hands had light coming from it. The light from our hands went in front of us straight to the at building destroying it completely.

Andy and I let go of each other hands. Looking at Andy he smiled at me and hugged me.

"Well done. Take a little to rest, we'll head to the pentagon next, then meet Reeva at the white house." Esme explained briefly.

Heading back down to the tunnels, the five of us headed to the pentagon. I have a strange feeling that these three buildings were destroying is black mail showing the government, purifiers, sentinel services, trask industries what us mutants are made of in this world and there is nothing to get rid of us anytime soon.

"Okay you two. We're counting on the both of you that all of this counts towards the mutant homeland." Esme smiled.

As Andy and I head towards the steps in front of the pentagon. I took a deep breath and shaken took Andy's hand as he smiled at me proudly. "Don't worry Lauren, I'm here for you and won't let all these nervous get in your way of being happy."

Our hands glowed for the second time and all the light went towards the pentagon building and destroying it completely just like the first building.

Hearing all the screams coming from the building. I couldn't handle hearing the screams and run off backing away from Andy before he could stop me.

"Lauren! WAIT?" Andy yells.

A very strong high pitch scream came springing into my ears. "Where are you going Lauren?" Reeva voice asks me.

"Yes Lauren. Where are you going?" The frost sisters asks me in unison.

"I'm I can't continue with this madness."

"Reeva, Esme, Sophie, Phoebe let me talk to Lauren alone for a little bit." Andy calmly says trying to keep peace between us.

Reeva nods, leaving Andy and I alone. The frost look at me before leaving as well. Out of nowhere Marcos appeared between Andy and I, there was a portal behind him, that was still opened.

"Lauren, come with me. Clarice and John are on the other side of the portal." Marcos explains quickly.

Marcos jumps through the portal waiting for me, Andy looks at me with pleading eyes. "Andy come with us."

"I'm not going anywhere with Marcos especially after the stunt he pulled back at the headquarters. Lauren I don't want you to go. I can't lose you." Andy sighed sadly and softly.

"LAUREN, HURRY." Marcos yelled.

"I'M SORRY MARCOS I CAN'T KEEP THE PORTAL OPEN ANY LONGER." Clarice explains closing the portal, before I could step through it.

Andy pulled me close putting his arm around my arm guiding me towards Reeva and the frost sisters.

"Are you two ready now, we have the white house left, and then we have our homeland one step closer for us." Reeva smiled softly.

"I'm sure we are Reeva. Marcos had intervene once again." Andy sighed.

"Marcos is really getting on our last nerves." Sophie and Phoebe sighed rolling their eyes in annoyance.

"I know, but he's none of our concern we have one more building to take care for our cause. Let's go we can't waste anymore time than we already have with those mutant underground mutants intervening as usual." Reeva sighed guiding Andy, the frost sisters and I to the white house.

As we entered the white house, the frost sisters used their powers on the guards and had them bring us to the President of the United States main headquarters in the White House. I felt uneasy about being here since no one is going to survive if Andy and I combine our hands again.

"Hello Mr. President." Reeva smiled sweetly walking in before Andy and I.

"Who are you? And how did you get in here past security?" The president asked.

"I'm Reeva Payge, these two lovely behind me are Lauren and Andrew Von Strucker." Reeva politely says.

"Wait the same Von Strucker that killed 15 people in Atlanta?" The Preisdent asked.

"The same people yes." Andy answered his question.

"What can I help you with?" The president asked worriedly shaking and becoming nervous.

"I'm glad you asked we have the news here and we need you to tell the world about the mutant homeland, the mutant uprising, Fenris, me, Sententil Services headquarters being destroyed, the Pentagon being destroyed, and what happens if people don't do as we say and this whole building will be destroyed." Reeva explains briefly.

"Okay. Bring in the news people." The President gulped.

A portal opened up behind the President and two people came out of the portal. It was Wes, and Rebecca.

"Rebecca?" Andy asks in shock.

"Wes?"
