She really wanted to freak and throw her phone, after getting the text from Wanda. The plan was, for Wanda to meet Y/n at the lobby. However, upon seeing their teammate head towards the elevator, telling F.R.I.D.A.Y to head down to the lobby because Y/n was there, got the team moving, and calling out for Wanda to stay there. "If she's really interested, she'll come up and get you." Clint had told Wanda with a wink.

"A true gentlewoman comes to pick the lady up at the door. Meeting their family members." Steve tells, giving a small smile to Wanda.

"Besides, we need to talk with her." Natasha's eyes glimmer with mischief, a small smirk coming to her lips as she picks up one of her throwing knives.

"Text her Wanda, if she really likes you, she'll come get you." Steve reassures, giving her a sweet smile. With a sigh, the Scarlet Witch pulls out her phone, texting the woman she really likes.

After hitting send, she watches as the text gets read, then the three little bubbles pop up, showing the person's typing. However, it disappears, before reappearing, then disappearing again. It doesn't show up again, and Wanda's faith dissipates just a bit. However, when ten minutes pass and Y/n doesn't even reply or show up, she's completely heartbroken.

She knows it's neither Y/n or her family's fault, but Wanda can't help but be mad at both sides.

Ding!

Heads turn to the elevator that reveals a shy looking woman holding two bouquet of flowers. Her eyes wide and worried as she looks around the room. When Y/n spots Wanda, she gives the woman a shy wave and smile, then slowly steps out. "Hi." Y/n replies softly, smiling at the woman in front of her.

Wanda gives a giggle, "hi." She says just as softly.

"Hello!" Y/n jumps at Clint's voice, whirling around, and stepping in front of Wanda to protect her.

"Oh, hello." Y/n blushes, moving to the side of Wanda as she steps beside her.

"You must be Y/n. I'm Clint, and expert marksman. With different arrowheads. Some electrocute, others explode." He tells her, trying to scare her, and it does it's job. Y/n's eyes widening, her hand holding the flowers shaking a bit.

"Clint!" Wanda scolds, gently placing a comforting hand on Y/n's back.

"He is just being overprotective." She reassures.

"Miss Y/n, I'm-"

"Captain America. My nonna use to talk about you, I think she had a huge crush on you, my nonno hated you."

"Sad to say Tinker Bell, but, she's not afraid of you." Tony says, a smirk coming to his lips.

"You slept with my mom." Tony immediately shuts up, paling. Clint laughing loudly, as Steve smirks, Bucky chuckles and Natasha smirks.

"Y/n." The woman freezes, eyes widening as she stares at the woman in front of her.

"These are for you." She blurts out, holding out the biggest bouquet of flowers to the most deadliest assassin in the room. Natasha looks at the flowers, then back at the scared woman.

"I don't like flowers.." Y/n looks so close to tears, and Wanda feels horrible.

"Nat.." the witch whines, causing Natasha to drop the act and take the flowers.

"Thank you. But, we need to have a word with you-"

"No. You are already scaring her. I told you, she's shy, so please, stop." Wanda pleads, but Y/n gives her a reassuring smile.

"It's okay, if they want to talk to me, then t-that's okay." Her voice hitches, but after clearing her throat, Y/n gives Wanda a smile.

"We promise it's just some ground rules, Y/n, that's all." Steve reaches out, wanting to touch her shoulder, but Y/n thinks it's something else, and visibly flinches, causing the team to tense.

"Y/n?" Clint questions, but the woman shakes her head.

"I don't wanna talk about it, if that's okay. I don't really know any of you. Wanda does know though, she knows it all." Wanda gently slides her hand into Y/n's tense hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Okay, where are you taking her tonight?" Steve quickly changes the subject, and Y/n is thankful for that.

"The fair. And if we don't like the food, out to eat after."

"Do you know her curfew?"

"Ten thirty?" Y/n looked at Wanda, but Wanda is sending a glare to Steve.

"I was gonna say eleven, but let's go with that. How do you plan on getting there?"

"My car. It's a 2018 Jeep Wrangler."

"Do you work?"

"Uh, yes sir?"

Steve raises his eyebrows, "is that a question?"

"N-no sir! I-I work, at a animal adoption agency. Sir."

"Guys, is anyone else feeling like going to the fair tonight?" Tony starts, the team sharing smiles as Y/n sends a scared look to Wanda.

"I haven't been in years!" Clint agrees, with Steve, Bucky and Natasha not too far behind.

"Great! Let's get ready and meet back here in ten!" Wanda does get to say anything before they're all heading away, no doubt to get ready.

Y/n and Wanda stand frozen, not knowing what to do. "Hey.." Wanda softly calls to Y/n, watching the terrified girl shake. "I like you, that's all that matters. You and me. That's it. We can always sneak away if it gets too much, okay?" Y/n nods, gripping her fingers tighter, but stops when she hears the crinkle of the plastic.

"Oh, sorry... these are for you. A reason why I was so late. I ran towards the nearest flower shop." Wanda smiles as she grabs the flowers, taking a deep breath.

"Beautiful, thank you." Wanda rewards her with a kiss to the cheek. The young woman blushes deeply, then hides her face against Wanda's neck.

After Wanda puts the flowers away, they sit on the couch, waiting for the others to join. "Are you okay?" Wanda asks, sending Y/n a small smile.

"Yea, I have you next to me." Wanda's cheeks turn pink.

"And I will always be next to you." They stay close to each other, waiting and hoping the others would hurry.

Thankfully, Steve and Bucky are the first ones back, Tony comes back next, then Clint and lastly Natasha. "Everyone ready?" After cheers from mostly Clint, the group finally leaves. Thankfully, there's no complaints of Y/n and Wanda riding together, but Natasha butts in, joining them at the last second. And Wanda tries to sit up front, but Natasha holds open the ride side passanger's seat with a smirk. There was no arguing with the Black Widow.

The drive didn't take to long, and soon they find two good parking spots that aren't too far of a walk.

"Just pretend we're not here." Tony tells her, sending her a wink. Y/n looks over at Wanda, who just smiles and stsrts to pull her to the ring toss.

"Four rings on any bottle, win this giant panda! Get a ring on the golden bottle, win a new MacBook Pro!" The announcer calls out as both ladies step up to the side. Y/n hands him a twenty, and she receives a bucket full of rings, ready to be tossed. The guy stands back, and waits to see how many this woman will miss. But, he doesn't anticipate or know who she is. Nearly half stay on the bottles, and she even gets the golden one. Everyone around her is shocked, but Wanda is merely excited to hold the giant panda bear in her hands. The guy hands over the laptop, pretending to be happy, but most definitely is not.

That's hot most games go. Y/n winning, the team shocked, but Wanda excited about the prizes. They even have to make a few trips to the car to unload their arms.

Y/n also doesn't play only for Wanda, but plays for the others as well. Whatever the guys want, she gets, and they of course give away to swooning teens or little kids.

And then, the hardest game there is, the basketball toss. You get all three ball in the moving hoop, you get a yellow elephant. Paying the five bucks, Y/n got the three balls and stood back at the line on the ground. She bounced the ball a few times, then waited a second before shooting. It hit the rim, but made it in.

The second shot was easier, swishing inside, only hitting the net, and the third was the same as the first. And as the Wanda cheered, the guy made a deal, "miss, I'll make you a deal, if you make those shots again, but when the basket is at the end, I'll give you two of the big prizes." The guy was cocky, and Y/n just had to teach him a lesson.

She gives a nod, and he collects the basketballs once again, then hands them over. And like before, she sinks all three shots, the guy grumbling as he hands over one yellow, and one purple stuffed elephant. "Are you hungry?" Y/n asks Wanda, who nods, then pulls her over to a corndog stand.

After eating, they play many more games, then go on the few rides there were. When it was the end of the date, Y/n took the two women home, and after unloading the many stuffed animals, Wanda and Y/n stood at the elevator. "I had an amazing date." Wanda giggled, causing Y/n to smile happily, her eyes shining.

"I had an amazing time too. I'm glad you had fun, I was worried you wouldn't."

"You won me all those stuffed animals. I most definitely had fun. But, you were there with me, so, of course I had fun." Y/n blushed brightly, looking away from the woman in front of her.

"Y/n?" Looking at the woman, Y/n gave a hum. "May I kiss you?" Y/n's shocked at the question, but gives a nod, the pair sharing a sweet soft kiss, before pulling back. "Text me when you get home, okay?" Y/n gives a nod, smiling happily as she heads into the elevator and leans against the wall.

She lets out a giggle as the elevator heads down, smiling happily as she tries to think of another date that would be good. There was a new mini golf place that just opened up, they could try that. And maybe it won't be a group date, but a regular, non interference date.
