If Emily was being honest, she would've like to wait a few more months before introducing her girlfriend to her team. And even though they've been dating on and off for over three years, the past year, Emily has fallen more in love with this woman, and knew it was time to tell her team, and Y/n the truth.

Y/n knew she was FBI, but didn't know what she did, and the team had no idea Emily was gay. So when Emily's life, and her girlfriend's life was threatened, she needed to move fast.

Pulling up to the FBI building, Y/n hopped out of the blacked out SUV, and looked over at Emily, who looked and was very nervous and anxious. "Hey," Y/n called out, sending Emily a sweet smile, "I know this is stressful, but they're you're family, right? They'll do whatever it takes to protect you." Y/n grabbed her girlfriend's hand, pulling the Agent in kiss, calming her down just a bit.

"No no, not worried about a killer threatening your life. I'm more worried about my team running you away." Emily joked, trying to make the horrible situation lighter.

"Again, they're your family. They do what they have to to make sure you're safe with me. And if they want to question me, I'm all for it. I won't back down from them." Y/n tells her honestly, and Emily can't help but fall in love with Y/n even more.

"God, I am so gonna marry you one day." Emily comments.

"Not if I marry you first." Y/n sends a wink, opening the door for her girlfriend. Emily still doesn't know how she got so lucky with Y/n, but honestly, she'll do anything and everything to keep Y/n happy, protected and safe.

When the elevator gets to the correct floor, the two women are met with Emily's teammates. "Of course you're all here... waiting... not out finding the person who threatened me or my girlfriend."

Y/n chuckled, nudging her girlfriend. "My love, what did I tell you. And the safest place for me, and you is in this building, surrounded by them, your family."

"Ooh, I like her. Very special computer wizard hacker extraordinaire Penelope Garcia, at your service. And this hunk of chocolaty goodness is my love muffin Derek Morgan." Y/n giggled, shaking the Agent's hand.

"Nice to meet you Agent Morgan, you as well Agent-"

"Oh no no, just Penelope for me."

"And I can see why Emily kept you to herself." Y/n blushed, but Penelope and Emily smack the Agent's arm, earning a loud laugh from him.

"How about we get Y/n settled in before reviewing what we need too, then once this is over, drinks are on me and I'll introduce you to her?" Emily tells them, earning nods from her team, but the twinkle in Penelope's eyes tell her fuck her plan, Garcia does what she wants. For now though, Y/n briefly met them, and they all love her so far, which is good, because Emily knows within the next two months, they'll be moving a step closer in life.
