Being heavily pregnant did a lot of things. Including messing with your emotional and mental state. For some it isn't that bad, but others, damn. Got pickles on their burger? Tears. See a beautiful butterfly? Tears. Gorgeous sunset? Tears. A beautiful woman walks by, smiling at both of them, but her gaze lingers a bit too long on Dinah? Tears as her wife accused the Polynesian woman of mentally cheating. It was a lot, but both women could handle it. But this, this was a lot.
There was a reason why they didn't let anyone know they had gotten married. Or even told anyone they were dating, because shit would hit the fan, and everyone would automatically blame Y/n. Which, at the moment, was way too much stress to handle. Any other day, before her pregnancy of course, she'd be able to handle the stress, but now, stress and Y/n don't mix.
And neither of them really blame Ally, because the woman already feels bad enough. Sending over many cookies, and buying them things they really didn't need as an apology, but if Ally could hold her liquor more, and stayed away from those paparazzi people, then their secret would still be safe. But it's not, and now Dinah had a crying wife in her arms, not knowing what to do. And Dinah was desperately trying to stop her wife from leaving her. Telling her that it doesn't matter what people thought, only her opinion mattered, and all others could go fuck themselves.
"Baby, stop crying, please. It hurts to see you cry, knowing I can't do anything." Dinah tells her, but that only makes Y/n cry harder, knowing she was hurting her wife. Dinah shakes her head, kissing her forehead, then tells her wife to take a deep breath and calm down before she makes herself sick.
"Good girl. Now, answer this. Who's opinion do you really care about?" Dinah asks, hoping her wife would try to understand.
"Well, it depends-"
"Y/n." She interrupts. Y/n blushes brightly.
"You."
"Okay, so who should you only listen to when everything's going on?"
"You."
"See! Fuck all them assholes. You're my baby girl, my honey boo, don't listen to anyone elses opinion except mine." Tears well in Y/n's eyes again, and Dinah tried hard not to groan.
"These are happy tears!" She cried out, burying her face into Dinah's neck. The Polynesian woman heaved a sigh, held her wife tighter, then finished watching her show, so she could gossip with Normani about it.
Probably not what you wanted, sorry.
