They never really talked about having kids. They talked about kids in general, but had both said they wanted to wait before having a few. Wanting to settle before bringing a bouncing bundle of joy into the world. However, now that AJ was staring at the positive pregnancy test with her sister beside her, a few years, had now turned to a few months.

But, she was worried about how Y/n would react. AJ knew her wife wouldn't leave her or anything, she wasn't like that. She just didn't want the woman mad at her. This honestly wasn't the first time she saw a positive pregnancy test. Many years ago, her and her ex had gotten carried away, and a few weeks later, that positive test was the result of it. However, he was not happy. He blamed her, saying that she wanted the baby to trap him into something that was suppose to be casual, which was a shock for her to hear. They weren't casual. Sadly, a month later she lost the baby.

And now, with this test, she was worried Y/n would act the same way, even though Y/n was nothing like Travis. "Hey, you okay?"

AJ looked up at her sister, giving a small smile. "Yea, just...worried." AJ admitted.

"Y/n isn't like Travis. She won't be mad." Aly assured, and AJ knew that, but it was just a worry.

"Babe? Aly?" Y/n called out seconds later, startling both women, but that must've been a sigh for AJ.

"Bathroom!" Aly called out, kissing her sister's forehead before walking out. AJ heard muffled voices before seeing her girlfriend in the doorway.

"Babe?" Y/n immediately saw the pregnancy test, but didn't know what it said, but secretly hoped it was positive. She had changed her mind about wanting to wait, but didn't want to tell AJ, because she was sure her wife wanted to wait a bit.

"I'm pregnant." AJ said softly, showing her wife the pregnancy test. Y/n took the test from her wife's hands, and stared at it, making sure it actually said pregnant.

"Before you say anything, I know we said we wanted to wait, but as of lately, I've been thinking of babies, but I was scared to tell you. I didn't want to seem rushed about this and-"

"You are mad?" AJ blurts out, earning a confused look from her wife. Y/n shook her head then smiled.

"Of course not! We're having a baby. A mini us! A family. I always wanted a family with you, was just worried about you saying it wasn't time yet." AJ gave a relieved sigh, pulling her wife in for a tight hug, before kissing her deeply.

"We're having a baby." Y/n mumbled, kissing her wife's forehead.

"Our mini me." AJ chuckled, hugging her wife tighter, knowing her sister was right. It was the greatest news ever.
