Waiting outside the police station was nerve wracking. Y/n didn't know what had happened, but was called, by Beca around midnight, asking to bail her out. And at first, Y/n didn't believe her. However, hearing the pleading in her girlfriend's voice, Y/n knew it was serious; twenty minutes later, she paid the bill, and was waiting for her girlfriend.

When the door was pushed open, and Y/n saw her brown haired girlfriend, she immediately swept her up in a giant hug, before see if she was okay. "What hurts? Do you need to go to the hospital? Who do I have to hurt?"

"Hello to you too. And no one. Can we just.. go home?" Beca asks, silently pleading her girlfriend to agree. Y/n gives a nod, taking Beca's warm hand as she leads her to her car.

"Do you wanna go to your dorm, mine or do you wanna get snacks?"

"Snacks, please." Y/n gives a nod, makes sure Beca's buckled before backing out, then driving to the corner store. Like the good girlfriend she is, Y/n lets Beca buy whatever she wants, even getting a couple scratchers for later, before heading back to the car.

"My dorm?" Beca gives a nods, and then Y/n's driving off, heading towards the student parking lot. They don't talk, because Y/n knows if she asks, Beca will put her walls up, so she stays quiet, waiting for her girlfriend to make the first move.

Beca follows behind, letting Y/n lead, even though she knew where her dorm was. Y/n lets them in, and this is the one time she's happy she has the room to herself. She didn't mind a roommate, but sometimes just being alone, was something she needed.

Beca toed off her shoes, automatically changed into a sweatshirt and sleep shorts, then climbed in bed, looking at Y/n, waiting. "Yes, my love?" Beca gave a pout. Y/n chuckled and went through the motions like Beca did. But Y/n changed into a thin t-shirt and sleep shorts, then got into bed with Beca.

Y/n put the bag between them, and Beca aggressively grabbed the gummies, tore them open and stuffed two into her mouth, chewing madly. Y/n watched with wide eyes, then laughed at her upset girlfriend. "You know I won't ask what happened, but when you wanna talk, I'll be here to listen." Beca gives a nod, then eats another gummy.

It's quiet between the two, the crinkling of the plastic wrappers are the only noise. "Tomorrow. I just, need you tonight." Y/n gives a nod, putting the bag on the floor before scooting down, then pulling Beca close as they cuddle.

"Tomorrow then, I'll take you out to breakfast, yea?" The singer nods, and Y/n kisses her forehead, falling asleep into each other's arms.
