Who is Y/N L/N?

Days after all the chaos and insanity, everyone had recovered pretty well. Dakota could finally sleep peacefully again, Rhea also calmed down quicker and Tegan had rested a lot better than in that crappy hotel she stayed in before. The girls were definitly happy to have Y/N back at last. He was totally out of it the first time he actually woke up, but when he spotted everyone near him, the fear subsided. The weekend was also about to begin, so everyone was in more casual clothes to really chill out and enjoy the time they had. Only at breakfast there was something on Dakota's mind. She wondered about Y/N's past and, judging from how Rhea and Tegan were also eyeing Y/N, she knew they were just as interested to get to know more about him.

Dakota:" Hey Y/N, I was wondering about something."

Y/N:" Okay and what is that?"

Dakota:" Well, I'd like to know more about you. So far none of us really had the chance to hear about your past."

Rhea:" It's alright, if there are things you don't wanna tell us. Everyone has to carry their burden."

Y/N:" I figured you would be interested in it at some point. Okay then...get on with your questions."

Dakota:" My first question is: how was your childhood? I'd just want to dive deeper into understanding you."

Y/N took a moment to gather the most of his memories. He could think of quite a lot and a fair amount of them were bitter-sweet.

Y/N:" Childhood. It was a rollercoaster ride of enormous proportions. Let's start when I was five. Kindergarden was already off to a rocky start because of the people who took care of us kids. Some would fake their smiles and nice demeanor. Others would just get angry if we made one simple mistake. It wasn't easy being a kid back then. My parents were left in the dark about the bad stuff most of the time. They asked every caretaker about how each day went, but they didn't receive many answers. At the end of that mess, it was soon time to go to school. Urgh, one hell followed after the other. The first years were fine, just getting to know things here and there and everywhere. Our teachers did their best to be nice while teaching us everything we needed to know. Up until sixth grade when my first bully got in the way. Big guy, smelly breath, douchebag. He picked on me simply because I was a respectful and kindhearted child while he was...just awful. That guy threw banana peel everywhere, put chewed bubble gum in the hair of others and pushed them around. A real asshole of a human."

Tegan:" And what stopped all that?"

Y/N:" A fight."

The three girls looked at Y/N as if he was crazy. They never expected him to ever pick a fight with someone, but as the coming story would tell, they were wrong.

Y/N:" Yeah, I challenged that guy to a fight after school. He was foolish enough to accept that. So we were in the courtyard, a small crowd had gathered to watch as we prepared ourselves for whatever was to come. De stepped closer to each other and by the looks of things, he didn't have any experience whatsoever. He was swinging his fists like a stupid monkey and I used that chance to get my shots in. A blow to the stomach, one to the head and a kick to the head later and suddenly that fool ran away crying. I don't know what he thought this was going to be, but I took it as it was."

Tegan:" And from who did you learn to fight?"

Y/N:" A couple of relatives. One of my uncles and one of my male cousins were well trained in martial arts and they taught me stuff, so I could defend myself in every possible situation."

Rhea:" So you had a reputation as someone not to mess with. I can hardly believe that."

Y/N:" Neither could I. The fact that I was beating bullies left, right and center spread like a wildfire. It made some people look up to me, others got scared. Some of my friends back then even refused to talk to me because of that. Same with my crush."

Rhea:" Oh? Now things get interesting. How was that girl?"

This got Y/N thinking. He only had a few interactions with that girl, but every moment was memorable. He rested his head on his hand and sighed dreamingly.

Y/N:" She was...unbelievable. Dark blonde hair, blue eyes, rosy cheeks and an unforgettable smile. She was a member of the student council back then, so she would get out of school pretty late some days. Being the simple gentleman I am, I waited for her and offered to bring her home."

Dakota:" And what did she think about this?"

Y/N:" She thought it was silly at first, seeing that her parents were some important figures in my hometown. They wouldn't accept it when their daughter was accompanied by a no-good average boy like me. But she accepted my offer. On the way to her house, we got to know each other a bit more every time. I couldn't stop looking at her."

Tegan:" Sounds like a movie I watched recently. Why was there no happy ending for you two?"

Y/N:" She moved to London to putsue a career as an author. Judging from the time she spent reading whenever there were breaks in the day, she was a massive bookworm. When it was time for her to go, I was quickly making my way to the train station, but when I got there her train was already gone. I didn't feel the connection I had with her with anyone else until I met all of you."

Dakota:" Dawww, poor Y/N. But with us around, you will forget all the negative stuff that happened."

Rhea:" Exactly. We're here for each other and we're here for you, no matter what."

Tegan:" I'm fully on board with this. You set out for a new start and we will help you get that."

In a flash of seconds, Y/N was circled and hugged by all three women. It was a very nice feeling to know that there was so much support for him from three incredible people who would have his back any time. Their words meant a whole lot to him as they repeated in his head.

When breakfast was done, all four assembled on the sofa in the living room, but the questions were far from over. Just as Y/N was about to take a deep breath, Tegan came in with another question.

Tegan:" I know some people have a few very important quotes they tend to say. What's yours, Y/N?"

Y/N:" Hmm, that's a good one. Maybe something like 'there is always a light at the end of the tunnel' or something.  I don't know."

Rhea:" How about hobbies though?"

Y/N:" My hobbies? They're not that exciting. I tend to read about psychology a lot when I can't sleep. To be productive and have fun, I analyze song lyrics that seem to have a deeper meaning. One of my relatives is actually a well known musician in all things heavy."

Rhea:" Really? Who would that be?"

Y/N:" I can feel you like heavy music, Rhea. So please don't freak out. Apparently one of my few remaining uncles is the brother of Peter Tägtgren, the singer and one of the guitar players in the Swedish Death Metal band Hypocrisy."

Of course Rhea would freak out because of this. Peter Tägtgren was and still is an icon among the metal community. Tegan and Dakota on the other hand were completely in the dark, so Y/N took his phone and showed them the last picture Peter himself actually sent him.

Y/N:" That's the man I'm talking about. He's a workoholic to be honest. If he's not working on stuff for Hypocrisy, he works on other projects like his second band Pain or Lindemann with the singer of Rammstein, Till Lindemann. I don't really pay that much attention, but whenever he's near me, I would take the time to have a night out with him."

Rhea:" Oooh, I can't believe it! You're related to one of my favorite musicians. You have to go to the Hypocrisy concert with me next friday."

Dakota:" And what about me and Tegan?"

Y/N:" Easy there, ladies. De don't need to argue about anything. How about this? On friday I go with Rhea, on saturday with Dakota and on sunday with Tegan. And sunday night, we will all spend that night together."

Tegan:" Sounds good to me."

Rhea:" I'm definitly in."

Dakota:" Alright, I'm up for it. But don't get too drunk or anything. We both know how that ends."

That caused Y/N to stiffen up and blush, remembering exactly what happened between him and Dakota. It also caught the attention of Tegan who actually didn't hear about anything yet, so that would easily make the next part of the conversation a lot more interesting.

Tegan:" What does she mean, Y/N? What happens when you get drunk?"

Y/N:" Umm, nothing?"

Dakota:" Aww, don't hide something from her. Tell Tegan what happened."

Y/N:"...Okay, fine. I can't control myself when I get drunk. When I drink more than I should, I tend to become more direct while flirting and I also become very old-fashioned, wanting to dance."

Dakota:" Well, the second dancing part didn't look as good, but it felt a whole lot better."

Rhea:" What they are trying to say is: they had wild sex after a while of drinking. The hotel room was messed up by clothes everywhere and there was a bottle of champagne involved too."

Tegan gasped at first before breaking into full on laughter. She thought something bad might have happened,  but no. Judging from her enjoying this so much, she couldn't hold back anymore. Y/N felt slightly emberrassed because this was something he didn't want everyone to know. Dakota giggled as well, seeing some images of that night before her eyes while Rhea put a hand on Y/N's shoulder to show a little support.

Rhea:" I actually think it's nothing to laugh about. You both just went ahead, so? Looking at the youth of today, they fuck each others brains out without actually knowing each other."

Y/N:" Don't even get me started. These kids are barely able to graduate, but want to make some big money in the future. I fucking hate this demograph of how far humanity has fallen."

Rhea:" Not everyone can be as smart as you, big guy."

Y/N:" I guess you're right. Anyways, is there anything serious you all would like to know?"

Dakota and Tegan slowly recovered from the laughter and sat back in their spots, thinking about possible things they could ask him.

Dakota:" I got another one. Dog or cat person?"

Y/N:" From past encounters with both sides, I gotta say (cats/dogs) because they are more loyal and fun to play with than the (cats/dogs)."

Rhea:" You look more like a wolf person to me. You know, because of all the hardships you had to go through and yet you're still pieced together the way you are here right now. That's true strength if you ask me."

Tegan:" Top that with intellect and a good hand with other people."

Dakota:" And that cute face along with a few other things, I think Y/N is better than anyone who tried dating all of us."

Tegan, Rhea and Dakota agreed on that as easily as possible while Y/N smiled to himself, looking at everything around him. He had a new home, he had found great new friends and he could possibly find a new job soon as well. Everywh was shaping back together to a normal life again for him.

--------------------------------------------------

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to put this quick Note here, just to say you don't have to listen or like any of the songs I will put below. I get that not everyone is a Fan of heavier styles of music, so feel free to not take a listen.
Anyways, for the ones that are interested, here are a few songs.

Hypocrisy - End Of Disclosure

Pain - Shut Your Mouth

Lindemann - Steh Auf

As you can hear from all three songs, all three bands are different from each other. I just like the first two bands since I believe that's where Peter Tägtgren really put his best work in.

Thank you for reading. Hope you follow along with me.
