Ring Of Honor - Pay-Per-View Debut

The time has finally come for Ring Of Honor to bring Death Before Dishonor  to the world. The entire match card was spiked with incredible bouts that we're about to go down this night as the fans from around the US streamed in for the show. Even before the intro, it was immediatly clear that excitement was through the roof. To be fully honest though, Y/N was feeling very nervous. His first ever Pay-Per-View show was about to go down and more people than ever were going to watch everything unfold. Of course he had gotten the backup from Mark, Vicky and Tracy beforehand and he appreciated every bit of support he could get. Rhea, Tegan and Dakota called Y/N as well, talking to him for about two hours which the young man was really thankful for. Yes, he missed being with his girlfriends. He missed their little pranks, their cute antics and cuddles and so much more. Of course being on the road was awesome and Y/N already loved wrestling, but relaxing and spending time with his loved ones meant even more to him. However, the young man didn't get to think about that much longer when the show finally kicked off with a huge pyro show.
---------------------------------------------------------

About 6 matches in, everyone in the arena, backstage and watching from home was fired up and excited to see what ROH still had in store for them as it was time for Y/N and Marty Scurll to turn the ring upside down. Y/N was the first one to make his entrance as he had something special planned for now.

Despite not being overly flashy or exciting as an entrance, every part of it served its purpose greatly as Y/N stopped right in front of the ring and threw every object he could find into it. Sledgehammers, steel chairs, kendo sticks, a ladder, a table, a staple gun and everything else people could think of. Over the last few days, Y/N has proven that he could be a violent bastard as well and tonight would be no different as he took a barbed wire bat into his hands and awaited his opponent.

Marty knew what he signed up for when he agreed to the match and he damn sure didn't show any fear towards the man that was staring at him. Two bitter in-ring rivals were about to collide as Marty climbed into the squared circle, never leaving Y/N out of sight. The tension in the air was getting thicker by the second as Y/N stood back almost emotionless while Marty took off his mask and robe.

It was upon the referee to check on both men, but as soon as the bell rung, Marty got out of the ring again.

Marty:" You're not getting me this easily, Y/N! Not this time!"

Y/N just chuckled to himself as he paced around the ring like a caged animal. Not that it was much different from any of his other matches, but he knew exactly how to start things off as he took charge and dove through the ropes.

This took Marty off his feet immediatly while Y/N just looked at the fallen brit. He didn't do these things very often, so this was more of a special case than anything else at the time. With no Count Outs or disqualification, there was plenty of space to go hard at any time. Fans already wanted to see more and their wish was fulfilled when Y/N grabbed Marty for his next move.

The protective matts on the ground didn't offer as much protection as they should when Marty crashed to the floor like that. It was only a matter of split seconds until the pain seered through him. Y/N on the other hand was leaning against the ring, smirking softly at his opponent's misery. Not too often did he feel satisfied by hurting someone, but to sell the whole gimmick better, he gave in to the darker side of his mind and this was one part of it. Many people weren't fully sure what Y/N was actually going for, but they seemed genuinly intrigued. He brought something fresh to the table which was desperately needed in these times. When Marty was halfway to his feet, he finally got the better of Y/N by throwing a fireball at his face.

All was fair in love and war at the time, so what Marty did was fully legal as he scrambled away from s blinded Y/N for a bit. The match wasn't even 5 minutes old yet and the intensity was high already. And judging by their willingness to go beyond what people expected, there was so much more to come from either of the two. It started with Marty trying to slip into the ring again, but Y/N's senses weren't that easily fooled as he caught him with a sudden Dropkick, pushing Marty's mid section into the ring post.

Y/N:" You thought you could run from me? Oh no, Marty. You're not going anywhere until I'm done with you!"

Apparently that fireball got Y/N even more riled up than he already was as he slipped into the ring again as well. He had enough of the outside for now, so it was time to set the stage in between the ropes as the bigger man grabbed the ladder from earlier, setting it up in the corner opposite of where Marty was. This scene alone didn't mean anything well at all. Everyone held their breath in when Y/N dragged Marty up again before throwing him into the ladder with high velocity.

If no mercy had a physical appearance, this was one of the times it actually showed its face to the world. Y/N definitly did have some ill intensions on this night and it was clear that Marty had to suffer through it all. There was still no end in sight yet though as Y/N continued the attack once Marty stumbled back again.

---------------------------------------------------------

Ten minutes further into the match and both men were pretty exhausted already as they sat in corners across from each other, painting, sweating, but far from quitting alltogether. Their drive to win was much stronger than anything else at the moment and everyone could feel that. With the ring doctors on high alert, it was no wonder ghst things would soon grow even more physical. Y/N had it a little bit easier to get back up than Marty who just went through the commentary desk two minutes ago. Even if this was settling their rivalry, this was a match a lot of fans would remember for a long time. How did it continue though. Well...Y/N just set a table on fire, so that was part one of another extreme moment. Marty tried to sneak up on Y/N and get the advantage, but the big man was too smart for that, which caused both of them to fight for control while trying not to burn themselves in the meantime. A hook here, a jab there and more fists flying everywhere as the two started to wear down. With one small burst of energy though, Y/N caught Marty's fist and then smashed him through the flaming table.

A lot of people were now worried for Marty as he rolled away from the debris of the broken table while Y/N was on his knees, breathing in heavily from the sudden rush he felt. Even he didn't know where it came from, but he knew he used it at the right time. He thought about the possible end result, looking at the crowd around him for a moment while Marty struggled to find his balance again. Sure, there were more violent matches in the history of this sport, but this only got Y/N even more motivated as he gritted his teeth and softly tapped his foot over and over again while Marty raised his head, only to be met with a high impact Knee Strike.

Now Y/N had enough as he crawled towards him, desperate for the cover and ready to end this feud once and for all. For the last month, they made each other's life a living hell with neither side gaining the upper hand at any point. It was such a hard fought war that nobody knew how it would end, yet the answer was so close as the ref counted to three, signaling that Y/N indeed was the victor. With his theme song ringing through the arena and most fans cheering for him, the young man was immediatly brought back to reality when he opened his eyes to realize what just happened.

Y/N:" I did it...I did it."

Y/N was in disbelief even when the ref lifted his arm up. It was such an unreal experience for him to win this fight like that and he was sure it wouldn't her easier now that he got some buzz going for himself.
---------------------------------------------------------

Backstage, things looked different almost immediatly once Y/N and Marty arrived in front of everyone else. Their friends expected the two to slug it out again, but they did the exact opposite by hugging each other as if there never was any bad blood between them. The exchange was unexpected for sure, but it was also nice to see that after everything they put each other through, the two could still be friends.

Brody:" Looks like you toughed it out enough then, huh?"

Y/N:" Of course, man. Marty and I always got along. Ain't that right?"

Marty:" For the most part for sure. Unless you count the time you threw me through that mirror wall."

Y/N:" Hehe sorry about that. I got a little carried away there."

Mark:" Then be a little more careful the next time you plan on doing something like this. You might actually injure someone on accident."

Vicky:" True, buuuut it was a great showing out there. I really enjoyed the match a lot."

PCO:" Same here. It was awesome, if you ask me. A little harsh at times, but that was to be expected."

Marty:" That was mostly thanks to Y/N here. He was the creative mastermind behind structuring the match like that."

Y/N:" Hey, a lot of credit goes to you as well, Marty. Without you, it wouldn't have been the same."

They bickered for another while, trying to settle who actually got the glory in the end, but it was upon Mark and Brody to slap some sense into Y/N and Marty right there. Of course it was fun while it lasted, but this couldn't have gone all night, because there was more to do in the end. Mostly because Vicky had a devious plan herself as she walked away from the group, smirking because she knew exactly what kind of treat she would give to Y/N as part of the victory celebration later on.
