After Y/N and Hannah finally finished their shenanigans and ROH's Final Battle Pay-Per-View has passed, it was time for Y/N to head back home again, now that his contract with the company fell flat. He would receive one more check for December, but after that and once the new year begins, it was time to look for alternatives in the business. Not that his options were limited, there actually were a lot of companies he would love to work with. It just depended on if and when they would send him an offer. For now though, he packed his bags and left his hotel room. Y/N smiled softly as he locked the door before turning around, only to find himself approached by someone else.

Salina De La Renta. Mostly known for her work with MLW, she was a free agent at the time. She's a wrestler, a valet and has experience in taking care of the production for shows. Why she was there and walked up to Y/N though was a mystery at the moment.

Y/N:" Can I help you?"

Salina:" Maybe. You're Y/N L/N, right?"

Y/N:" That's me. And you are?"

Salina:" Salina De La Renta. It's a mouthfull, I know. Anyways, it looks like you're leaving."

Y/N:" Yeah, my contract with ROH is up and I will return home to my friends for a while to figure out where to go next."

Salina:" Any offers so far?"

Y/N:" Not yet, but I'm eyeing a few companies."

Salina:" That's good. Hey, if you need a manager of some kind, give me a call."

Salina said that before handing Y/N a business card with her number and other contact info to make sure he could reach her in one way or another.

Y/N:" Thank you. I might take you up on that offer sooner than you think."

Salina:" That would be appreciated. I don't know if you've seen my work before, but I'm sure we can work something out. Have a good time at home and stay safe, Y/N."

Y/N:" Thank you, Salina. You too."

Salina smiled genuinly and waved Y/N off before walking away. She was a very focussed business woman when it came to wrestling, but she could also hit hard if so needed. Y/N knew he had to catch up on what she did and put the card into his wallet before he took his luggage and walked downstairs to check out.

He ran a hand through his hair before giving back the key and signing off, getting reminded that he was welcome back any time, but the employees probably said that to everyone who came by. Nonetheless, he thanked the young guy across from him before walking out to his car and getting the luggage in. It felt weird to leave Ring Of Honor behind like this, eventhough he was there for just a few months. Maybe he would meet some of his co-workers again under different circumstances. 'Never Say Never' was the perfect saying for this situation as Y/N got in the drivers seat and started the long journey back to Orlando.

It was already pretty late in the evening as Y/N was driving, drinking a strong coffee to keep himself awake. He usually didn't drink anything when he was on the road like this, but a trip like this definitly needed his full attention, no matter what. He didn't text the ladies that he was on the way back already, they just knew he was coming.

Y/N:" Once more going home. Who knows where life leads me next?"

Talking to himself also helped him to stay awake and overall to organize his thoughts. Y/N knew he was still at the start of his career, so offers definitly wouldn't be coming in like a flood or anything. Instead, he might have to make even more of a mark in the business before getting the attention of some major promotions. Anything was fine to get a foot in the door, because Y/N was looking forward to continue on this adventure. Though after another hour or two he pulled up to a truck stop and got his phone out to check his messages. Many were tags from fans and friends, considering the End Of An Era in ROH. One very different message though came in from Paige who sent a very clear image of what awaited Y/N once they saw each other again:

Paige:" As soon as I see you, you're mine for a night! 😈😜"

Y/N:" Are you sure it won't be the other way around?🤨😎"

This time he chuckled and put the phone in the pocket of his jacket, parked the car and then made his way to the shop. Y/N knew he was different from the usual folks that came by, so he tried to be the least suspicious he could be, looking through what was offered and all. He picked out a regular sandwich, some marshmallows and another coffee. Some other people looked at the young man in slight wonder as he walked to the cashier and just payed for everything.

Cashier:" First time I've seen you around here, mate."

Y/N:" I'm just on the way home and need some good before I starve on the road."

Cashier:" I see. So you're not from these parts?"

Y/N:" Not really."

Cashier:" We usually don't get customers like you."

Y/N:" Lucky me I guess."

Cashier:" Maybe. Anyways, that makes 6.49$."

Y/N nodded and put ten dollars on the counter, telling the cashier to keep the change before walking back out. He still didn't like being in unknown parts of the world, unless he knew someone there. Other than that, he just got back to the car and started going ham on the food to stay alive for another day.

Several hours after everything from the previous evening, Y/N finally made it back to Orlando and his home. The atmosphere immediatly enveloped him in comfort and got him back into the vibe he missed so much. He pulled up into the driveway and smiled when seeing his home as he got out of the car, getting his bags and slowly and quietly unlocked the door. Usually he tried sneaking in every now and then, but this time he was caught off guard by two dogs coming right at him and barking.

This immediatly woke up everyone inside as the girls came running in with various items for self defense.

Dakota:" Who's there?!"

Tegan:" Blue, Marvel, off!"

The dogs retreated and returned to Tegan's side as Y/N stood up straight and dusted his clothes off. Upon seeing him though, the girls hugged him tightly. Apparently he was missed quite a lot and the girls needed their cuddles for a long time.

Rhea:" It's 3 in the morning and you're sneaking in here."

Dakota:" What were you thinking, silly?"

Y/N:" I didn't wanna wake up anyone, but then the dogs came running."

Tegan:" Blue and Marvel can do that sometimes. They're a little too protective when it comes to strangers entering our home."

Kay:" And quite the balls of energy. Try keeping up with them."

Priscilla:" But we're glad to have you back, Y/N. We heard the news about ROH and it really sucks they're closing down for now. Hopefully the rebranding goes well."

Y/N:" I hope so as well, but I might sign with a different company before that. Who knows."

Dakota:" As long as you're not too far gone all the time, everything should be fine."

Everyone chuckled or giggled at Dakota as she nuzzled her head against Y/N's chest. She had a point though, but touring was part of the job every now and then, so staying in one place forever wasn't going to work. Then again, they now had time to be with each other again for a long while and the ladies planned to put the time to good use.
