Purple diamonds p.o.v.

'What's gonna happen to me? Or Steven? As much as I'm scared of my previous mate I must do anything to protect Steven' I thought to myself glancing at the helmet lying beside the sofa I'm sitting on 'Maybe if I reveal my softer side to White she may forgive me' I sighed and stood up feeling that it's time to form again "looks like my break is over"

No one's p.o.v.

In the big room where Steven stood before white diamond with purple diamond still in his grasp "come on purple! I can't do this without you!" Steven whisper-yelled at the diamond in his hands "Pink! Hello there starlight, you surely gave us a scare. As for the latest game of yours, thanks stars it's over, did you get everything out of your system, did you have fun?" Steven was about to speak up only to be interrupted by white "good, good, everyone is so relieved. Welcome home pink" white finished with her never leaving smile before sending Steven to pinks old room leaving the purple diamond lying on the floor

White bend over and held the purple diamond in her hand frowning at it "it wouldn't have to be this way purple, but you just had to betray homeworld, betray me..." With a shaking hand , white bubbled the diamond and send it to pinks room without another word

//Pink's room\\

"Hey whi- huh?" As purple formed again he was looking around "purple!" Said diamond looked down seeing the crystal gems hugging his leg "hey guys, what happened?" Steven told purple about the ball and what happened with white before going after blue and yellow

"A ball? We didn't have that in 6000 years" yellow said as blue butted in "we didn't have pink in 6000 years! Same with purple!" Blue said happily "if white shows up we can tell her what we need help with on earth!" Steven said excitingly "it could also mean the start of era 3" purple added sitting on his throne beside White's "I approve" yellow said with a small smile "without a doubt, all the diamonds together again!" Blue replied wiping tears of happiness. After blue, yellow and purple summoned their pearls they were put under Stevens command to prepare the ball "just remember, everything must be perfect!" Yellow added sternly before leaving with blue and purple

//Sometime later...\\

"Let's take a look how's Steven doing" purple said to himself , but before he opened the doors blue already opened them leaving the ballroom "o-oh! Hi, purple" blue diamond said surprised "hey blue, why the sour face?" She sighed "pink refuses to leave her ...friends in her room, she thinks everything will go smoothly but it won't!" Purple's helmet disappeared as he kissed the top of blue's head "now now blue, let's not get dwell on the bad things but think about the positive ones instead" purple smiled reassuringly , blue blushed madly with her mouth opened agape "now, if you'll excuse me, I have places to be" purple said before leaving the stunned blue diamond with her pearl to talk with Steven.

//Timeskip to ball\\

"Everyone, welcome one of the two high rulers of homeworld the precious purple diamond" purple pearl announced and said diamond entered without his helmet revealing his perfect face , diamond shaped irises and spiky pale purple hair which reaches his back 'so many gems are staring' purple thought with dark purple tinting his cheeks "y-you're doing great s-ste- pink d-diamond" purple stuttered before taking his seat beside White's empty one , "white diamond has more important things to attend to"...

Purple diamonds p.o.v.

As I heard those words left white pearls mouth I could feel my core heating up with anger "this is unheard of!" I slammed my fist against the armrest of my throne making other diamonds flinch and gems stare at me with horror "after me and pink returns after 6000 years she decides to not even attend this stupid ball for five minutes?!" At this point I marched towards white pearl to shatter her only to be held back by blue and , yellow "*grunt* get a hold of yourself p-purple!" Yellow shouted struggling to hold me, by now the ballroom was in chaos , gems fleeing away , pearls looking terrified at the scene and Steven also angry that white didn't come "this has come too far!" I was released and yellow poofed the crystal gems while blue took Steven and Connie in her grasp. "We will come back and give you a piece of our minds, so don't you dare to leave this room, purple." Yellow added before leaving with blue. "Hnngh" I grunted pressing my back against the wall "*sigh* maybe I shouldn't do that".

//One diamond argument later\\

"The prison tower, there must be Steven and Connie" I said to myself nearing the entrance of said building "alright, let's get you back to safe" I stopped in my tracks right in front of the gate , when it opened blue came out "*gasp* p-purple!" Blue exclaimed in shock trying to hide Steven and Connie underneath her hair "t-this isn't how it looks like!" Seeing blue worried like this made me chuckle "oh blue, Don't worry *looks around* I was gonna do the same" I smiled at blue , "purple! I'm so glad to see you! Are you ok?" Steven jumped on top of my head "ha! I'm the great purple diamond, of course I'm alright!" Steven explained what happened and his plan which made me take this more seriously...

//Back in pink diamonds palace\\

"Food!!" Both Steven and Connie shouted digging in "what's wrong b? Does eating food make you uncomfortable?" She furrowed her eyebrows looking away "very"

When the kids finished they're meal we could rescue the crystal gems "hey Topaz's" both gems crossed they're arms into a diamond "my diamonds!" When we entered yellow's bubbling room blue set Steven and Connie down "hmm where could they be?" I scratched my chin squinting my eyes searching the room "what. Are you doing" looking behind myself I see yellow sitting with a frown and all the crystal gems above her in a bubble "I'm taking back my friends!" Steven shouted "what are you two doing, blue. Purple. Take pink back to the tower" I crossed my arms "she prefers to be called, Steven" blue said smiling at him , yellow slams her fist against the armrests cracking them "what are you talking about?! You can't keep bending the rules for her blue! As for you purple, first you disappear for 6000 years then  you wreck the ball and now this?! No wonder white bubbled you away!" Blue gasped "yellow! You shouldn't- I raised my hand "it's okay" I said in a whisper "no it isn't "okay" purple" blue said angrily averting her gaze to yellow that's reaching for Steven "no!" Blue slapped yellow's hand away "blue?!" Yellow shouted in shock. Both then got in a hand hold "when we thought pink was shattered I was by your side, and you dare to use your powers against me?!" Yellow proceed to push blue to wall breaking it and falling down on a bridge leaving me in the room alone "maybe yellow is right, I'm really stupid for thinking white still wants me" I silently cried bringing knees close to my chest ...

After what seemed like eternity I stood up and wiped my tears away "I must fix this, even if it'll shatter me" leaving the room I see all the ships connected except mine "what the.. where's Steven and the others" running as fast as I could I see garnet, Steven, amethyst and pearl fusing together "it's been such a long time since I saw such fusion" smiling at the obsidian I jumped on her hair "hey obsidian! Mind taking me with you?" Nodding slightly obsidian jumped at pink's legs crawling up "I'm gonna try to cover you!" Summoning my great sword I deflected the hand a few times , didn't take long before obsidian had to create her own sword the cut both blue and yellow's hands "watch out! She's gonna slam us-" obsidian unfused leaving us hanging under the left eye "we can get in through the eye! Quickly!" I shouted shrinking my form to get through

Finally being inside I returned to my formal size "white diamond" Steven said determined "aw starlight, what are you doing crawling in here, you want your legs back,you want your planet back. Surely you understand why I can't let you leave" White's look turned to me "as for you" she shot her beam at me but I dodged hitting amethyst instead "seriously dude?" Amethyst groaned , "leave her alone!" Then garnet "stop!" And pearl "oh no guys!" Steven rushed to amethysts side while I kept standing looking at white "please stop helping them,you only make things worse, that's what you do. I only make things better, here" with a snap of her fingers Steven fades away in dust...

With a snap of her fingers white gains control over pearl , amethyst and garnet "thank you white diamond, we feel so much better" at that moment I knew it's time to stop this "white, that's enough" I stepped closer to her "don't you even dare to speak to me, after all the things you've done to me!" White cried angrily "I know, I've been a bad mate white, I tried to join the rebels, I just miss the old times. Just you and me, enjoying each others company while making love" I blushed at the thought "nonsense! Stop lying to me!!" White screamed crying and shooting her beam at me , thankfully I summoned my shield just in time "don't you waste your shield at me!" Suddenly white send the beam from every gem under her control "hnngh!!" I grunted under the pressure and pushed the beam back making white loose her footing and the gems under her control fall on the ground "STOP! You're hurting them!" Steven shouted at me. I approached white , kneeled and lifter her chin "I hope this will be convincing enough" I said before passionately kissing white diamond , she resisted at first but melted into it. Pulling back white didn't say anything "o-oh starts! What have I became?!" White whispered releasing everyone out of her control.

"Purple... I'm so sorry" white apologized with her face buried in my chest "shhh, rest for now, you had a difficult day" I moved my hand through her silky spiky hair calming her down as we continued to hug. When I opened my eyes I see everyone back on they're feet , happily chatting with each other.

"I didn't know you guys were married" Steven said which made me raise an eyebrow "what's a marr-ide?" Garnet then stepped forward "it's a beautiful ceremony made by humans where two people or gems confirm their love with rings *shows her rings*, for example ruby and sapphi really loves each other so they decide to get married"

I smiled "that sounds lovely, humans really do suprise me sometimes" I noticed that white had fallen asleep in my embrace, I pecked her diamond before leaving with white to her quarters.

//Week later on Earth\\

"So many corrupted gems" I said with awe staring at all the bubbled gems "alright guys! You can go into the water!" Steven shouted before cannon balling into the water , white looked nervous at first but I held her hand reassuringly making her look at me before smiling and pecking my cheek , now sitting in the water all the corrupted gems started to heal giving them back they're original looks and mind , with blue and yellow we had a lot of fun and stories to talk about.

"So you're leaving purple?" Steven asked standing in front of me with the rest of crystal gems while white diamond was at my side "yeah, I must catch up to the 6000 years I've been away from this beauty" I said hugging white close to me "but we'll come back soon to get married Steven" white added with kind smile stretched across her face, we said our goodbyes and entered the head ship "tell me purple, where's your ship?" I shrugged "who knows, didn't see it for millennia". With that said we kissed each other as our ships traveled back to homeworld...

//Meanwhile on a garden very far away\\

"Hmm, happily waiting *humming*"
