Trish pov.

I was rushing around my house fixing things up. He was about 3 hours away and I was getting the house ready for a party. It was meant for my boyfriends birthday. I thought it would be a great idea for my brother to join since he just recently broke up. My friends were helping me set up. "Hurry please." I asked my friends as they hung up streamers. I got a text on my phone and saw it was Nathen. Hey I'm in town what's you're address again? I smiled and gave it to him putting it back in my pocket and kept putting up decorations. This went on for the next half an hour as more people showed up. I greeted everyone saying thank you for coming. I remember Marceline coming in, Jack, Bob, Wade, Ethan, all those people who were friends with my boyfriend. I got into a conversation with Jack about his future plans and laughed a lot as he kept trying to keep his voice down but failed miserably. It wasn't until an hour later that I heard 3 rthymic loud knocks on the front door. I ran over and opened it to see my brother. He had definitely changed alot. We last saw each other 7 or so years ago and that was because of mons funeral. He had a smiler frame back then and bad style. But now he had definitely gained some muscle and had a faded hair. He still had to wear glasses but they matched his style more. He used to be the same height as me which was 5'6' but now he was a towering 6 feet tall. "Hey jerk." I say with a smile.

"Hey bitch." He smiled back and we laughed hard hugging."so what's the party for?" He asked lifting me off the ground a bit during the hug.

"Just my boyfriend. I thought it would be nice for you both to finally meet." I said as he set me down.

"Ah so someone I have to scare off?" Nathen asked with a smile. "But honestly is he treating you right?" He asked seriously.

"Yes he is. Besides remember I'm the older one here." I sighed.

"Yeah. So I saw you still have your truck. You still having trouble getting in it or are you using a stepladder finally?" He smirked. I punched his arm and laughed.

"What's going on here Trish? This guy bothering you?" I heard Marceline ask and Nathen gasp.

"Its fine Marc, he's just my-" I hold up a hand only to be stopped.

"Your," he started, "you're Marceline, or Markiplier." He was completely awestruck.

"So this is the guy you wanted me to meet? He's pretty cute." Marceline smiled and I could feel Nathen get flustered. "So what brings you to Los Angeles?"

"Oh just need to reconnect with family." He lied with a fake smile. I'd seen him use it so many times.

"Oh that's great. If you want to I can show you around a bit." Marceline smiled obviously not seeing the sadness on his face.

"I'd love to how about tomorrow after I get settled in a bit. Maybe see you around 12?" He offered.

"Sounds lovely. It's a date." She smiled and walked over to Jack.

"Oh my gosh." Nathen said with a laugh. "How do you know her?"

"Through my boyfriend." I said casually. "But right now let's talk about you. What happened exactly?" He instantly turned away and leaned against the wall.

"She cheated on me I caught her that's all there is to it." He said bitterly.

"Theirs something you're not telling me Nate. What happened?" I pushed a bit.

"I also found out she's into girls more since I found her in bed with my best friend." He glared out the door.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry for you." I patted his shoulder and he sighed.

"It's in the past." He smiled sadly. "There's only the future." I saw him look over at Marceline. "She's very beautiful." He muttered.

"Nathen do you have crush on Marceline?" I said teasingly.

"WHAT NO THAT'S CRAZY, YOU'RE CRAZY!" He said panicked and flustered. I smiled a bit staring at him. "Okay maybe I do but she'd never go for me."

"What about tomorrow?" I pointed out.

"She probably just wants to show me around like she said. I mean come on look at me. I'm not that attractive." Nathen stated seriously.

"Yeah but you can find out tomorrow okay?" I recommended.

"Fine but there better be alcohol here tonight." Nathen sighed and I smiled.

"There will be and I'll make sure you don't drink to much okay?" We both nodded to each other and hugged again.

"I'll try not winding up in bed with anyone." Nathen laughed as I heard a gasp and turned over to the door to see my boyfriend.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone yelled.
