-No one's P.O.V-

After the big despair incident, everything was restored to normal after Junko Enoshima's chaos, thanks to the Future Foundation. Today, it was New Year's Eve and you were wearing your winter clothes out in public.

You were sitting on a bench and reading a book out in the Park. You looked up to see everyone hanging out with their families and friends with happy looks on their faces. You smiled at this as you continued to read your book.

That's when you hear...

???: Hey (Y/N).

It was a monotone voice of a female as you turned to the source to see Chiaki Nanami wearing her winter outfit.

(Y/N): Oh, hey Chiaki.

Chiaki: Hello there.

She greeted with a smile on her face as you smiled back a little and spoke up.

(Y/N): By the way, aren't you supposed to be with Hajime and the others?

You asked with a raised eyebrow.

Chiaki: Oh, he's with the boys and doing some stuff. I was feeling left alone until I found you sitting in the park.

(Y/N): Huh, I see.

Chiaki Nanami was your gaming friend ever since the killing games and all of the things that you had encountered so far in your life.

(Y/N): So...what brings you here to these parts?

Chiaki: Well, I was wondering if I could spend time with you since I have no one else to go with.

You thought about it for a moment as you smiled at her and spoke up.

(Y/N): Sure, we can hang out.

Chiaki: Really?!

Her eyes were sparkled with joy, but you found this odd and surprising since she usually uses her poker face when talking to someone and playing games.

 (Y/N): Well, yeah, of course.

Chiaki: Thank you so much!

She then hugs you out of nowhere which made you surprised and blushed at the same time as the two of you eventually hung out with each other for quite some time. 

-Three Hours Later-

It's been two hours of hanging out, both you and Chiaki were both playing video games on your Nintendo Switches. 

The two of you were playing Ultimate Smash Bros in Chiaki's apartment. Chiaki was fighting you as Mario while you fight her with your (Favorite/Smash/Character) and managed to beat her.

(Y/N): Yeah, I win, baby!

You said with a proud smile as Chiaki.

Chiaki: I'm surprised that I have lost. 

(Y/N): Throughout the gameplay, were you going easy on me?

Chiaki: Well, certainly, I was.

(Y/N): Jeez, that's not like you, you know?

A moment of awkward silence between you two as Chiaki spoke up.

Chiaki: Hey (Y/N)...Who was that girl that you have been playing games with...? You two are not dating or something right...?

She spoke in a confronting voice with a darkened look on her face. This surprised you since this is out of character for her.

(Y/N): You mean (F/N) that you're mentioning? She's an old friend of mine, we haven't been able to see each other for a while.

You explained with honest words as Chiaki stares at you with dull eyes and spoke up.

Chiaki: (Y/N)...I think you're better off not associating with her. Do you understand me? (F/N) is not worthy to you. That should be obvious by now. And the other girls are the same. So just play with me instead, alright?

(Y/N): Chiaki, what's wrong with you? Why are you being all confronting?

You asked with a concerning voice.

Chiaki: (Y/N)...please...will you promise me that?

You were a bit stunned on hearing those words as you spoke up.

(Y/N): What in the world has gotten into you? 

Chiaki: Huh? Have I said something wrong? I'm just making sure you will stay away from the other girls. That's all.

You knew there is something wrong is with Chiaki as you spoke up.

(Y/N): Look, I have no idea what's wrong with you, but you gotta need to calm down.

Chiaki: Calm down...? I am calm, (Y/N).

You had butterflies on your stomach as you spoke up.

(Y/N): You know what? I'm just gonna go home.

You said as you try to get out of the couch, but Chiaki quickly grabbed your arm in a tight grip as she spoke up.

Chiaki: No. You should stay...I think. If you leave, I'll assume you didn't understand. Play with me, (Y/N). 

(Y/N): No!

You said as you pulled your arm away from her and tried to run to the door, but Chiaki lunged onto your back and spoke up angrily.

Chiaki: YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!

(Y/N): Get off of me you son of a bitch!

You said as try to shake her off, that's when Chiaki pulled out a wet-stained cloth from her pocket and began to placed it on your face. You inhaled it because you panicked as you felt your body being numb and weak.

(Y/N): (W-What is this...?)

You thought to yourself as your vision started to get dizzy as you felt weak and slowly fall to the ground and your vision becomes black.

-Time Skip to Night-Time-

You slowly opened your eyes as you felt something that was gently moving your head.

(Y/N): Ugh...what...happened...?

???: Oh, you're finally awake.

A familiar voice spoke up as you looked up to see Chiaki looking down at you with a smile on her face.

Chiaki: How's your sleep?

(Y/N): Y-You..!

You said as you try to get up, but you felt your arms and legs not moving as Chiaki spoke up.

Chiaki: I tied up your arms and legs so you won't go anywhere without me.

(Y/N): Let me go this instant!

Chiaki: No, I'm afraid not. You're mine and I won't let anyone take you away from me (Y/N) because I love you so much.

(Y/N): You...

Chiaki: By the way, I have something for you (Y/N). Be right back.

She said as Chiaki lifted your head off of her lap before getting off the couch and went somewhere else. You waited for a few moments until she came back with a red present.

Chiaki: This is a special gift for you (Y/N). It's made by me. I'll open it for you~

She says with a smile as Chiaki unwraps the ribbons on the gift as you waited for a moment as she spoke up.

Chiaki: Here you go, (Y/N)~

She grabs the present as you looked inside and your face was in horror to see inside of that present was a lifeless head of (F/N).

(Y/N): No...no...what the fuck have you done!?

You said in both anger and sadness to see that Chiaki took the life of (F/N).

Chiaki: She was in the way so I had to get rid of her. 

(Y/N): You son of a bitch!! Why, dammit! Just...why!?

You said in anger as you started crying.

Chiaki: Aww don't worry, (Y/N). You will love me once I break you and I will be the only one you can rely on, and besides...

Then, a sound of fireworks went off from outside as Chiaki gave a creepy smile and spoke up.

Chiaki: Happy New Year, (Y/N).
