-No one's P.O.V-

You are (Y/N) (L/N), an average human begins and has (Ultimate/Talent) on your life. However, you were invited by Hope's Peak Academy to enroll and graduate. 

Unfortunately, things changed when a pink stuffed bear is known as "Usami" appeared and transferred everyone in class into an island called Jabberwock Island using her magic.

After exploring around the area and a bear named "Monokuma" told everyone that they should kill each other in order to win the game. 

Some were in disbelief and didn't want to believe it. However, you have a girlfriend named Akane Owari, she's the Ultimate Gymnastic and does a lot of hard work and would mostly protect you from harm.

You and Akane were dating six months ago before the killing games, so you mostly trust her rather than everyone you had met. So right now, you were at Chandler Beach on the second island after the Trial of the murdered Byakuya Togami and the executed Teruteru Hanamura.

You were at the beach and felt relaxed because of the calming atmosphere and the calming waves of the beach, that's when you hear...

???: Hey hun!

You turn around to see Akane Owari walking up to you with a smile on her face as you smiled back and spoke up.

(Y/N): Hello, Akane.

Akane: What are you doing out here?

(Y/N): Eh, just relaxing.

You said with a shrug on your shoulders as she spoke up.

Akane: I see. Say, do you want a milkshake at the diner? I can bring 'em here if you'd like.

(Y/N): Do they have (Favorite/Flavor)? 

Akene: Yep! They do! Anyways, I'll be bringing those milkshakes here in a short moment. Be right back, hun!

She then kissed you on the lips before leaving you out on the beach. You were about to get back on relaxing, that's when you hear...

???: (Y/N)...?

You turned around to see...

...Akane Owari?

(Y/N): That was quick, where are the milkshakes?

You asked her, but she stood silent and was looking at you dead in the eyes. You felt a little uncomfortable in the situation you were in. However, you noticed a bit different on Akane. 

She looks like Akane, but her eyes were darkened and red glowing eyes. She has a white coat with ripped sleeves. In addition to that, she only wears a black tube top and black shorts, making her stomach and six-pack visible.

But the last thing you noticed on her right arm were four dumbells and a chain.

(Y/N): Akane, are you alright? You look a little...scary.

You said with a mixture of a bit of confusion and fear. 

Akane(?): Is...Is that really...you?

She recalled as you spoke up.

(Y/N): Yeah, it's me, hun...

Akane had a surprised look on her face as then she got angry and spoke up.

Akane(?): No...! This must be another delusion! Are you trying to trick me!?

(Y/N): Delusion? What are you talking about? 

You asked in confusion as she yelled out her lungs in rage and spoke up.

Akane(?): YOU ARE NOT MY (Y/N)!! THIS IS OBVIOUSLY TRICKERY!!

She then ran up to you with speed and tried to punch you, but you evaded it. Akane then turned to look you with rage in her eyes. You were scared because you have no idea why she was mad as you began to crawl back and spoke up.

(Y/N): Akane! What's gotten into you!?

Akane(?): Shut it, you faker!

(Y/N: No Akane, I'm real! I'm the real (Y/N)!

Akane(?): Shut up!

She then grabbed one of the beach chairs and threw it at you, but you dodged it by rolling away. You stood up and backed away in fear as you spoke up.

(Y/N): Akane, please! What happened to you!? What happened to the Akane I know!?

Akane(?): The Akane you know is gone! She's in despair!

(Y/N): Akane, if you are in there, please! Snap out of it! I love you!

You pleaded as Akane flinched a little on hearing that before regaining her composure and spoke up.

Akane(?): No...no, you don't get to say that! You are not my (Y/N)!

The words "Not my (Y/N)" left you confused as you spoke up.

(Y/N): What?! What do you mean "not my (Y/N)"!? What are you talking about?! The Akane I know was a fiery and protective girlfriend of mine!

Akane then flinched again as she kept approaching you with murderous intent. She was about to punch you again, that's when someone punched Akane's face as she was sent back a few meters away.

You looked to see another Akane, but this time, a normal one.

Akane: You leave him alone, you imposter!

(Y/N): A-Akane? 

Akane: Hey, hey, hey, don't worry, I'm here now. Did she hurt you?

(Y/N): N-No, she didn't. But...why are there two of you!?

You questioned as then you hear the other Akane's grunts. The imposter got up and looked at you two. The other Akane was looking at you and she looked at herself, that's when she realized something.

Akane(?): Oh...you must be "me."

Akane: Who are you!? Why do you look like me?!

The other Akane chuckled evilly and spoke up.

Akane(?): I'm the "Despair" you!

(Y/N): T-The Despair Akane?

Akane: I don't believe it! You're just an evil me!

Akane(?): That's true...I'm not sure if I'm dreaming or not, I'm taking (Y/N) with me!

Akane: I will not allow that! (Y/N), stay back! I'll handle her!

She says as the good and evil Akane began to fight each other.

-Mini Time Skip-

After a bit of fighting, the good Akane spoke up.

Akane: Heh, you're stronger as I am!

Akane(?): No kidding. Our strength and speed are the same.

Akane: Tch!

The two continued fighting again, that's when you got in front of them and spoke up.

(Y/N): That's enough you two, please!

Both Akanes' dropped their fists as you spoke up.

(Y/N): Look, I understand that the two of you want to fight each other, but we need to settle things peacefully.

You suggested as the two Akanes' huffed at you. You then approached the imposter Akane as you were about to touch her...

Akane: (Y/N), what are you doing!? You're gonna get yourself killed if you touch her!

(Y/N): I know, but I just need to prove something...Akane, I need to touch you to see that if you can feel my touch. I can understand that you don't like it because you said that it was trickery. Please, I'm just going to touch you, got it?

You said as the imposter Akane stood still as you reached your hand and began to caress her cheek. The imposter Akane felt a little comforted at your touch as you caress her cheek for a few moments before stopping.

(Y/N): There, is my touch real or delusional?

You asked the imposter Akane as she spoke up.

Akane(?): Your touch...it was real...too real to be delusional. And the scent of your smell...it is the same as ever. You're the real (Y/N)...

The imposter Akane says in a calming voice as you smiled. That's when the real Akane spoke up.

Akane: I hate to break it up to you two, but I want to know what's going on, and how did I turn into "Despair"? 

(Y/N): Yes, I want to know as well, and also what do you mean by "not my (Y/N)?"

The imposter Akane was sighed as she spoke up.

Akane(?): The reason why I was turned into this is that...I killed my (Y/N) from my timeline...

Both you and Akane were shocked to hear from the imposter.

Akane: What!? "I" killed (Y/N) from your timeline!?

(Y/N): How? How did that happen?

Akane(?): I was drugged by some bastard who was obsessed with me while (Y/N) was with me. From my point of view when I was drugged, I saw (Y/N) and was really bruised up and saw some clown bastard who was beating the shit out of him. I was enraged and beat the clown with my bare fists. But in reality, I was actually beating (Y/N) to death.

Both you and Akane looked at each other for a moment before looking back at the other Akane as she continued.

Akane(?): After amounts of beatings, my vision was returned and I was in horror to see (Y/N) getting beaten up by me...when the others came in and saw me on what I was doing. They were both in shock, disgusted, and in horror that I secretly abused (Y/N). When we rushed to the hospital to save him, but for sometime later, my (Y/N) from my own timeline had died.

(Y/N): After I died, what happened next?

The other Akane paused for a moment and spoke up.

Akane(?): After what happened. Everyone began to hate me a little, even Nekomaru. I was enraged and I also remembered that obsessive bastard who had done it to me. Once I found him, I began to kill him out of rage and sorrow, and this is what I had become. The timeline on where I belong turned into a destroyed future and everyone became the Remnants of Despair and no hope was left.

Akane: Oh my god...I became a Remnant of Despair...?

Akane says with a shocked look on her face.

Akane(?): That's correct, but I can feel this timeline will be changed. You will have to protect (Y/N) in your life. I already failed once, but don't let it happen to you, got it?

Akane: Don't worry, I won't let my future happen to me! I promise!

Akane says with determination while the other Akane smiled a little. Suddenly, the other Akane began to have a light aura around her. 

(Y/N): Akane, you're body is glowing!

The other Akane looks down and notices it as well and spoke up.

Akane(?): I think I'm going to return back to my own timeline. But before I could go...

The despairing Akane approached you and leans down to kiss you. You were surprised at this as Akane from behind you was smiling at this, that's because the despair Akane needed it. The kiss took like a few moments before breaking it as the other Akane spoke up.

Akane(?): I won't forget that kiss, even if I became a Remnant of Despair. Take care, past me.

Then just that, the Remnant of Despair, Akane Owari, had disappeared into light orbs in front of your eyes. 

You stood there for a moment as Akane places her hand on your shoulder and spoke up.

Akane: I won't let the future happen between both of us, you get me?

(Y/N): Yeah, we can't fail her promise. 

Both you and Akane smiled at each other before holding hands. That's when she realized something...

Akane: Oh crap! I forgot about the milkshakes!

(Y/N): Aw man, what a bummer...

Akane: No wait, they are still a bit cold when we confronted the other me. Come on, we need to drink them before they get dry!

Akane began to drag your hand to the diner as you were laughing at this.
