(A/N: Erika is from a gacha game known as Konosuba: Fantastic Days. Also, since Runa Narumi is retiring on Dec 31, 2021 (because she did an NTR on her youtube boyfriend) so I thought I'd do a single one-shot of her character in this one-shot book. So enjoy!)

-No One's P.O.V-

(Y/N): Whew, another day, another quest to finish.

A young man says with a relieved look on his face and this young man's name is (Y/N) (L/N) and he is a 19-year old.

He, fortunately, died due to a car accident until he woke up and met Eris the Goddess of Fortune in the afterlife.

(Y/N) eventually chose to reincarnate into another world.

Later in a few days, he met an old friend named Satou Kazuma as the two reunited and got along as good friends until Kazuma introduces the other people that he had met in his adventures.

So right now, (Y/N) was heading towards the Guild to get his reward after completing a quest until he hears a familiar voice.

???: (Y/N)~!!

A high-pitch of a female called out to (Y/N) as the young man sighed until he felt two pairs of arms wrapped around his waist from behind.

???: There you are~! I've been looking everywhere for you~!

(Y/N): I've been going on a quest, Erika, no need to be worried.

You said towards a pink-haired girl Idol known as Erika.

A second member of the idol group Axel Hearts, Erika is a cute little ranger. She gets a bit indulgent for her own pace. Conversely, she gets in a hurry as soon as she is ready.

When someone calls her "cute", Erika gets a europhia upon hearing it.

Her backstory is quite sad because she has never seen her parents and was grown up in an orphanage.

Erika always thinks to herself that "if Erika's cute, her parents will come to pick her." 

Cielo and Lia told you about Erika's backstory and you couldn't help, but feel sorry for her.

So right now, it was snowing and today was now New Years' and people started preparing for the celebration.

Erika: You know what day it is, boyfriend?

(Y/N): I know, today is New Years'.

Erika: That's right~! You, me, and everyone in Axel shall celebrate today~!

(Y/N): Ahaha, yeah.

...

The reason why Erika calls you "Boyfriend" is because the two of you were dating for over 6 months.

Erika confessed her feelings to you with the help of Kazuma, Lia, and Cielo. You honestly didn't want to reject her because of her sad past and Erika was really happy that you accepted her.

Rumors had gone around in Axel that you and Erika are dating, some were happy and some were jealous.

Erika: Anyways, let's head out to a Shrine so we pray!

(Y/N): Sure, but I need to get my reward first.

Erika: Alright, I'll be waiting~!

Erika says with a cute pose as you chuckled at her as you entered the Guild.

...

Luna: Alright, here are the rewards, (Y/N).

Luna then hands you the reward money as you took it from her.

Luna: Happy New Year, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Same here to you, Luna.

And just like that, you turned around until you bumped into someone.

(Y/N) Oof, sorry about that.

???: No, no, it's okay.

In front of you were the two animal girls from the Northern Lands named Amy and Mia.

(Y/N): Oh, good morning, Amy. Good morning to you, Mia.

You greeted politely.

Mia: Hello Mister (Y/N)! How's your day?

(Y/N): I'm doing fine, kiddo. Just got finished doing a quest.

You said as you patted Mia's head until Amy spoke up.

Amy: How's the relationship going with you and Erika so far?

(Y/N): Eh, I'd say it was going quite well.

Amy: That's good to hear. I hope you two are planning to celebrate New Years' today.

(Y/N): Don't worry, Erika suggested that we would go to a shrine to pray. What about you two?

Mia: Mia and Amy were heading to Kazuma's mansion to prepare a feast. Although, the Guild should've been more preferable.

(Y/N): I'm sure Kazuma has his own plans, plus we're quite invited though.

Amy: He sure does.

(Y/N): Anyways, I should go. Can't keep Erika waiting.

Amy: Yeah, see you around, (Y/N).

Mia: See you, Mister (Y/N)!

You waved goodbye at the two as Amy and Mia headed off somewhere.

You then exited the Guild and see Erika still waiting for you outside.

Erika: So, shall we head off now?

(Y/N): Sure am.

Eventually, both you and Erika headed to a local shrine.

-Mini Time Skip-

Throughout the whole way, Erika has been clinging onto your arm to show her affection towards you while the two of you are also admiring the decorations around in Axel.

Upon arriving at the shrine in Axel, you and Erika were surprised to see a few people, including some familiar faces.

???: Hey (Y/N)!

Both you and Erika turned to see none other than the two members of Axel Hearts, Lia and Cielo.

Erika: Lia! Cielo!

Lia: Happy New Year, you two.

(Y/N): Happy New Year to you two as well.

Cielo: Say, are you two here for prayers?

(Y/N): Yeah. Did you two finish?

Lia: Not really. Just got here recently. Cielo and I were just testing out the food around here for a bit until you two came here.

Erika: I guess the four of us should do our prayers in the shrine~!

(Y/N): Yeah, let's do this.

Lia: After prayer, we could hang around with everyone a little.

Eventually, Axel Hearts and you headed towards the Shrine and started praying.

-Time Skip-

Around evening, everyone was at Kazuma's mansion as they were all ready for a feast and to celebrate New Years' Eve.

Kazuma: Alright everyone! Can I get your attention, please?!

Everyone stopped speaking as Kazuma spoke up.

Kazuma: Okay, I want to make a toast that we will all celebrate New Years' Eve, okay?

Iris: Alright, if you say so, big brother.

Dust: Go on ahead. Say your thing, Kazuma.

Kazuma grabs his cup, clears his throat, and begins to do his toasting speech.

Kazuma: Here's to those who've seen us at our best and seen us at our worst and can't tell the difference. And now...we welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been. Cheers!

Everyone: Cheers~!!

And just like that, everyone raised their cups and began drinking as they all started eating the food that they had all prepared.

Everyone was chatting until Erika spoke up to Darkness.

Erika: Hey Darkness. Have you seen, (Y/N)?

Darkness: Oh, he's outside the mansion.

Erika: That's great. Thanks.

Darkness: No problem. Be sure to come back here so we can all eat together.

Erika: On it!

Erika then leaves the mansion to look for you until she sees you sitting on a bench under the tree near the front porch.

Erika: There you are, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Ah Erika. Aren't you eating dinner with everyone?

Erika: Everyone was, but I can't have dinner with my boyfriend now, can't I?

(Y/N): You got me, but I'll come in later. I just need to breathe some air for a bit.

You said as Erika shakes her head and sat down next to you.

Erika: Say (Y/N)...

(Y/N): Hm?

Erika: How do you feel about our relationship?

(Y/N): What do I feel about it? Well...if I'm being honest...

You smiled, turned to Erika, and said...

(Y/N): I'd say it was quite fun.

Erika was a little shocked upon hearing this as her tears began to form out of her eyelids until Erika hugged you.

Erika: Thank you, (Y/N). You're the best boyfriend that I ever had. You've always taken care of me it's as if you were my guardian.

You smiled as you returned the hug back to Erika.

(Y/N): You're welcome. I'll stay by your side.  I wonder if your parents are approving of our relationship together.

Erika: I'm sure they are. Us being in a relationship together will someday get their attention.

(Y/N): I guess so.

That's when you look up and see something above the tree.

(Y/N): Hey, look up.

Erika looks up and sees what you were looking at.

Erika: It's that...a mistletoe?

(Y/N): Yeah, and you know what the means~

You said with a cheeky smile on your face as Erika smiles back until they hear the sound of a fireworks explosion in the sky, startling the two.

Erika: Oh goodness me! That scared me!

(Y/N): Ahaha! Same, same...

Eventually, both you and Erika watched the firework explosion in the sky.

Erika: The fireworks are quite cute, isn't it?

(Y/N): Sure is.

The two of you looked at each other with smiley faces as you and Erika slowly leaned in for a kiss.

The two of you sit there for a moment before pulling away.

(Y/N): I love you, Erika. You'll always be my cute and adorable idol to me. Always.

Erika: Aww, that's really sweet of you~
