Shock still settled into her when Y/n had gotten the call from her agent. Telling her she'd been picked for a movie, from a show, that she's watched for years. Tom & Jerry was a classic in her household. Watching it on weekends with everyone cuddled up on the couch, laughing at the animated characters. So, getting to star in a movie about them, it was a dream come true.

Though Y/n didn't know much about the movie, learning it was mostly gonna be filmed in New York, she already knew her co-star was Chloë. Which, if she wasn't surrounded by people, she would've freaked after getting the call. The woman has been Y/n's crush since she first saw Kick-Ass, which her parents still don't know she saw, but hasn't been able to stop that cute little crush. So, this movie was basically her dream.

When the two young women met, it was brief. They simply said 'hello' before being told to sit at the table, where they would go over the script. And that's when they also learned they'd be lovers, as well as Y/n being owner to Tom the cat.

The script was pretty well written, and in her opinion quite funny, loving that both Tom and Jerry end up trying to push her character and Chloë's character together. Y/n was slightly worried that Chloë wasn't thrilled that they gave her character a female love interest, but the smile that the blonde haired actress sent her way after learning they get together at the end, make her heart stutter, eyes widen, and a weird noise that she's never made before, to escape her lips.

When filming came, it was weird talking to a guy dressed in a green suit, that was playing a cat. Even weirder that he never talked back, but, at least lines were slightly easier. In between takes were used to practice lines or getting to know Chloë, which turned into sleeping over, after filming ended for the day.

The two women got close, so close that people thought they were already together, and while they both secretly wished it would happen, it wouldn't, at least, not yet. Though, the tipping point was when there was a script change. It was small, but big to the both of them.

Y/n's character supposedly gets knocked into Chloë's character, thanks to Tom, but it causes them to kiss. Then Y/n's character would get scared and scurry away. When learning they had to kiss, Y/n admitted this would be her first real kiss to Chloë, and Y/n swore pride swelled up in her chest. The first kiss was amazing. But, when the next and one after came, Y/n realized she was in deep. These kisses just made her fall for the actress more, and everyone realized that after a particular kiss where the director called cut, but the ladies apparently didn't hear said word, and kept kissing. That's when they both knew they liked each other and things changed.

It was near the end of the movie they made things official, and when the premiere happened, it let everyone else know what they had was real as well. When watching the movie, you could feel the love those two ladies had, and when the kiss happened, cheers erupted in the theater, causing the two women to blush and shy away. And it was all thanks to Tom & Jerry.

I still can't believe Pietro from Avengers, is the guy who played Kick-Ass.... Talk about a glow-up.
