Renesmee had known of her first. Known she was different the moment she had stepped into the classroom. Skin pale, regular breathing, but no heartbeat, a gold tint to her eyes. If you didn't really know, then you wouldn't be able to tell.

Telling her family caused a bit of a stir, but it wasn't like they were gonna do anything about it, they really couldn't and it would bring too much attention to them. When telling Jacob, he sneered at the idea of another vampire in Forks. Renesmee didn't like his attitude and reaction, but understood.

It was when they were partnered for a project in that class, did Y/n realize who and what Renesmee was. Although, she didn't seem that interested to know of the vampire family. Unfortunately, since Renesmee couldn't go to her house or meet up at her work, she had to head to her partners house, and Y/n wasn't happy. Though vampires, she didn't want to answer the questions that are usually answered. Hell, she had told Renesmee she could've done the project herself and text the information after, but the girl had declined, which slightly soured her mood.

So, after school, Y/n followed Renesmee to her house, and readied herself for the questions she'll no doubt get asked. When meeting the family, they were all pretty tamed, though, it was weird revealing she was older than Esme and Carlisle. Born in the late 1500's and being turned at 17. Thankfully, they decided to leave the two ladies alone, letting them work on their project that takes them no less than any hour to complete.

When they emerge from Renesmee's room, someone new is waiting for her. She's introduced as Rene's mom, and Y/n can't stop the weird feeling in her stomach. Alice gets a weird look in her face, then smiles, looking between Y/n and Bella. When Y/n sees her look, she knows she's screwed.

Still think it's fucken weird that Jacob imprinted on a baby....
