Sealing the letter with her engraved wax seal, Mrs. Claus slipped the letter into the red fitted coat, ready for her daughter's long journey. The older woman knows this could possibly go wrong, think they're playing some kind of joke, but it was a risk Mrs. Claus was willing to take. Besides, having Kaylee as a daughter-in-law would be amazing. She always did want to try learning Japanese.

Taking the coat off the rack, Mrs. Claus headed towards the engineering building, where the elves were showing Y/n the new sled. It was electric, not reindeer powered. Ever since Y/n cried about the reindeer being treated poorly - which they weren't (Rudolph loved to lead the sleigh) - the elves made an electric sleigh, so Santa's five-year-old daughter wouldn't cry again. And now, 19 years later, they were unveiling the new sleigh to her. Equipped with seat warmers, three different size cup holders, food warmer, and gps.

"Eric, this is amazing! Thank you for the upgrades!" The elf blushed, smiling proudly at the compliment.

"Thanks you, Miss Claus. We know it gets pretty cold up there, so we thought some added protection would be good." He adds, and Mrs. Claus can't help but chuckle at the elf. Poor guy.

"I do say," she interrupts, looking between the sleigh and the elves, "the engineering department went all out. I love it, and I'm glad by daughter will be well protected." Y/n giggled, watching as the elves brightened at the praise.

"T-thank you, ma'am." Eric stutters, blushing profusely. The elves leave the mother and daughter to talk, getting everything else ready before the daughter's departure.

"Your father had this specialty made for you. Made from the same fabric as his." Mrs. Claus hands over the red and white coat, Y/n handling it with great care as she slips it on. It's perfect, and keeps her so warm. The red pantsuit and red boots definitely match the suit.

"I love it momma! Thank you!" She wraps her arms around her mom, hugging her as tight as she could. Mrs. Claus chuckles, wrapping her arms around her daughter. She gives her daughter's forehead a kiss, then pats her back.

"Your father and I are so proud of you darling. We always dreamed of this, and if your father was here, he'd be wiping tears from his eyes."

Y/n giggles, nodding. "I still don't understand why you waited to go." Mrs. Claus merely shrugs her shoulders, hiding the real reason.

"I wanted to see you off, darling. Now, be safe, have fun, and spread Christmas cheer to girls and boys all over." Mrs. Claus kisses her daughter's cheek, than urged her towards the sleigh. After presents were loaded, Y/n pressed a few buttons, causing the sleigh to rise, before taking off. A tear falls down Mrs. Claus face, not believing her little girl is already growing up.

Canada was beautiful around Christmas time. The decorations were gorgeous and the trees were always so large. Landing the sleigh on top of a apartment building, Y/n reached for the red silky sack that was currently empty, and carried it to a magical appearing fireplace.

The first apartment was the greatest. Decorations all around and the cookies... Whoever made those delicious cookies should get something special. The once empty sack was now filled with presents that she placed under the fully decorated tree. After emptying the sack, she stood by the fireplace, and was taken too another apartment. She visited the whole apartment building, even helping decorate some trees because they were just too bland for her taste. Finally, getting to the last apartment, Y/n frowned when she doesn't see a tree set up. There were little decorations and beautiful decors hanging, but no tree? Y/n couldn't have that. So, she put one up and spent some time decorating it. It was only when a light lit up the living room area, did she realize how loud she was actually being.

Turning around with a ornament in her hand, Y/n eyes widened at the beautiful woman in front of her, feeling her heart beat a bit faster. And like Y/n, Kaylee felt the beat of her heart speed up. "What are you doing in my apartment?" Kaylee asks, and Y/n almost forgot why she was there.

"I'm Santa." The woman in red tells, believe that's all Kaylee needed to hear, but it wasn't.

"No, you aren't. Santa's a guy, and-"

"My dad! He's my dad and on vacation. It's about time I take over the family tradition. It's my first year doing this alone. I'm sorry if I scared you. I just, wanted to cheer up the room. Please, forgive me." The sad look that came across Y/n's face broke Kaylee's heart.

"I didn't have time to get a tree. Thank you." Y/n brightened, looking back at the tree with a proud smile.

"Oh!" Putting the ornament in the tree, Y/n reaches into her coat, and pulls out the sealed letter with Kaylee's name on it. "This is for you." Y/n happily hands over the letter, which kinda disappoints Kaylee.

Unsuspecting to the two women, a mistletoe grows above them, giving a jingle when it's ready. Both look up, eyes widening at the small leave above. They both look at each other, moving towards each other slowly. "Kiss me." Y/n whispers, Kaylee waste no second in pulling Y/n in for a sweet kiss. It's slightly needy, but neither women cares. However, the beep from Y/n's watch lets her know she's already behind, and sadly has to leave.

Their goodbye is sad, and they share one last kiss before Y/n is taken back to her sleigh. Y/n has a hard time not crying as she heads to the next apartment, wanting to stay with Kaylee's forever.

Kaylee looks down at the letter, her name in elegant writing on front. Opening it up, Kaylee takes a breath, before reading.

Kaylee,

xxx-xxx-xxx, you asked for love this Christmas, and I believe my daughter is the perfect woman for you. I'm sure you can see why. Everything happens for a reason. Please call her tomorrow, she'll be more than happy hearing your voice. Merry Christmas Kaylee!

With Love,

Mrs. Claus

Kaylee was shocked, needing to sit, but was also excited. However, she must've forgotten all about Daniella, because the woman appears, asking if she was okay. Kaylee gives her friend a smile, then hands over the letter.

"Oh my God, where can I get one." The two giggle, and as Daniella makes coffee, Kaylee tells her friend all about Y/n.

"I know what I'm asking Mrs. Claus for Christmas next year." Daniella teases.

When Kaylee does finally call, it's late the next morning, and she's nervous. But, when she hears Y/n's beautiful voice, her nerves relax and a smile comes to her face.
