(Edd's p.o.v)

"Yeah, we know." Eddi said with ease.

My mouth flew open.

"What?! What do you mean you know?!"

"We've known for a while Dee."

"A while?! How long is a while?!?!"

"Two...maybe three."

"Weeks?"

"Years..."

"Y-Y-YEARS?!?"

I pulled my hat over my bright red face. I probably look as red as a tomato! I can't believe this is happening to me!

What basically happened is I told my friends that I was questioning my sexuality as of recently, and there's a high probability that I might be gay.

And they said they already knew!!!!!

"B-b-but. How?!"

"Well, first of all, there's that whole, you having a crush on Keva thing. She said raising her finger like she was about to list numerous other reasons.

"But that could mean that I'm bisexual.."

"BISEXUAL?!? Please." She said waving it off like it was some great joke.

"W-what's that supposed to mean?!?!"

"Come on Double D! Your whole life you've been acting like you have some kind of phobia of guys. I mean, when we were kids that was normal to act like boys are gross 'cause we were young! When we were in elementary school it was unusual, but we still brushed it off. When were in middle school and you still acted like boys have 'cooties' it clearly meant something..."

"You mean you knew since we were in middle school!!?!?" I said clutching the sides of my hat.

"I didn't even consider the fact until earlier this year!!!"

I felt someone rub my back soothingly. I looked over at my new friend Jemma.

She is new at our school and we have all of the same classes. We actually have a lot in common! Except she is into drama and musical theatre. We have become very close friends as of recently. I invited her over to my house.

She has burgundy hair that ends just above her shoulders and long-ish bangs. Light tanned skin, and brown eyes. Today she wore a dark purple sweater and dark blue jeans. And she had just been through a really rough break up with her now ex girlfriend Maxine.

She rubbed my back and gave me a look of empathy, as if she knows exactly how it is i am feeling right now.
I gave her a small smile back.

"Ok ok, new topic!" Eddi said." Let's talk about..? Edd!.."

"Me?"

"Yeah! Did you see how all those boys looked at you today? I told you it would work!"

"Eddy, hardly appropriate."

"YEAH DOUBLE D! Now Keva is going to love you forever and ever and ever and ever and ever!" Ed said.

"Eden, don't you think you are exaggerating ever so slightly?" Jemma chimed in.

"Yes, I do agree with you" I said.

"Pshh, Ed's right Sockhead, Keva has the hots for you for sure now."

I had just opened my mouth to say something when I heard a loud knock on the door.

"I'll be back in a moment girls." I said getting up off of my bed and headed towards the front door.

I opened the door just a smidge and peered outside.

I saw a familiar red head wearing her famous red baseball cap.

I opened the door fully to greet her properly.

"Why, greetings Keva, what can I do for you this fine afternoon?" I said with a smile on my face. I was trying my hardest not to blush, but I feel like I am unsuccessful.

"H-hey Dorko.." She said awkwardly whiles reaching up behind her as if she were about to scratch the back of her neck. An action she usually did when she was nervous.

Keva? Nervous? But what for?

"Oh! Where are my manners! Would you like to come in?" I said scolding myself for nearly forgetting my manners.

"Yeah sure..." She said awkwardly. She came inside. I asked her kindly to remove he shoes before entering and gave her some nice horse slippers to wear. I would have let it slide and not give make her wear the slippers. But she was covered in disgusting filth I would assume is from her after school sports practices.

I was trying my very hardest to not blush and act like a love sick fool around Keva. I wouldn't want to embarrass myself in front of her, or worse, make her feel uncomfortable.

She sat down on my sofa spreading her legs open, making herself comfortable. Very unladylike indeed, but she is my guest so I mustn't complain.

"U-um." I started, she tilted her head upwards and looked me in the eyes. Her eyes were such a lovely shade of emerald green. I found myself getting lost in them. She had such a beautiful face, such defined features, and cheekbones. At this point I was struggling not to blush. Then I realized that I had been staring at her the whole time. She looked at me confused, tilting her head to the side ever so slightly, cocking one eyebrow.

"U-umm, would you like a cold beverage..?" I asked awkwardly, I can feel myself start to sweat.

"Yeah thanks, I'm parched from baseball practice." She said coolly. Keva is so cool. She'd never want to be seen with a loser such as myself.

"What would you like to drink? We have filtered water, juice, and some cans of ginger ale.

"Ginger ale will do."

I nodded and scurried off to get her a drink.

(Keva's p.o.v)

I sat on her couch twiddling my thumbs as I waited for her to comeback with my drink.

I feel like I'm stalling. I'm here for one reason and one reason only. To ask Edd out.

Moments later she returned with a cold glass of ginger ale and the can which was marked Canada Dry.

My throat was extremely dry so the drink looked REALLY good right about now.

She handed me the glass and I took a large swig.

"Thanks dude." I said wiping my mouth.

"Not a problem!" She said showing me her famous gap tooth smile which caused my face to heat up.

She took a seat next to me on the couch.

She looked down at her lap playing with her fingers. Her cheeks were a rosy shade of pink.

Wait, is she blushing?

"Sooo." She started awkwardly. "What brings you to my residence this fine afternoon?"

My face instantly heated up again. What am I supposed to say?! I came here to ask you out?!

"I came over here to talk.."

"Oh? About what?" She asked confused.

"Uhh.."
Then I heard a loud thud and a shuffle come from stairs.

"Watch where you're stepping lumpy! I think you broke my foot!"

"Sorry Eddi."

Wait, that sounded like the two dorks! I thought me and Edd were alone.

"What's was that?" I asked Edd.

"Oh, those are my friends, they're upstairs, and they're rudely eavesdropping on our conversation!" She said that last part loud like she was talking to someone else.

Just then the dorks came down the stairs and...Rave? What is she doing here? Is she friends with my Dorko?

Shrimpy plopped herself down between me and Edd casually like she wasn't just interrupting something.

"So, whatcha guys talking about?"

"Eddi, it is very impolite to just.."

"Yeah yeah, what's on tv!?" She said grabbing the remote turning on the tv flipping through channels like she was in her own house.

"Thanks!" She said grabbing the rest of my ginger ale that was left in the can and gulping it down.

I swear! Sometimes she just....!! Gets on my nerves!

I clenched my jaw trying my best not to just.. Get up and strangle her.

Edd seamed a bit annoyed too. She was glaring at Ed like she had just done something extremely repulsive.

Then the taller dork sat down next to Eddi and Rave sat down next to Edd. They were all just watching T.V like me and Edd weren't even having a conversation I the first place!

I guess I'll just have to tell her some other time.
