WARNING: I'm sorry if this chapter sucks, but one, I just rolled out of bed when I started writing this. And two, I don't plan anything I write in this fanfic, I just write whatever crazy little thing pops into my head. It's not like my other fanfic where every little detail was planned ahead of time.

(Eddaline's p.o.v)

How could I have forgotten about my promise to Keva?

I feel so ashamed, I made a promise to her, then I completely forget about that promise? I'm such a horrible person. Oh the shame!

I was at my locker getting ready for my first period class..with Keva.~

Then I heard the sounds of voices behind me.
I didn't quite catch all of it, I tried listening carefully to what they were saying. I know eavesdropping is wrong, but I'm just so curious.

"Oh mah gawd Becky! Did you see they way MYEEE Josh was drooling over her?!"

"I know riiiiight? She such a slut. With her short skirts. Disgusting."

Oh, it's just cheerleader gossip and drama again.

"Yessss, she wants people to think that sheees allll inocennnnt. But she's not."

"I knooow, why do people even like her? She's just some stupid know nothing dork. Who just, decided, to act like a total slut one day to get all tha boyeees, attention."

Wait a minute...

"What's her name again, Beckyyyy?"

"I don't know, I think is Tedd or something."

When I realize who their talking about I felt the tear threatening to run down my cheeks. I knew i shouldn't have taken any of Eddi's advice! Whenever I did it never ended well. Why did I think it would turn out ok now?

I closed my locker and started heading towards the bathroom.

(Keva's p.o.v)

"Why didn't you ask her out whiles you had the chance??" Nat complain. She went on and on about this all day.

"I already told you Nat! I just couldn't! I chickened out ok?"

Then she held on to both of my shoulder and looked me straight in the eye.

"Keva...you need to GROW A PAIR! AND ASK HER OUT ALREADY!" She yelled. Pretty much everyone in a ten ft radius was giving us weird looks. Then they went back to gossiping to their friends about what just happened.

I rubbed my forehead in frustration.

"Nat, you can't..you can't just, blurt out... Things like.."

Just then some one ran into me and then fell on the floor. I looked down at who it was.

It was Edd, and she was..crying?

Why? What happened to her? Who did this?!

She got up and ran past me.

(Edd's p.o.v)

I was pushing past the crowds of people in the hallway, when I finally made to the washroom I ran in hoping that other people weren't in there. To my luck I was alone.

I ran into one of the nearest stalls and locked the door.

(Keva's p.o.v)

"Whoa, what happened to her?" Nat asked.

".....Nat, I gotta go ok?"

"Umm, ok? See you later then?"

I left Nat and went to go look for Edd.

I walked into the girls washroom and heard the sound of sniffles and some one crying.
There was no one else in here besides the person in the washroom crying their eyes out.

I fallowed the sound which lead me to the handicapped stall.

I knocked on the door.

*knock knock knock*

"Dorko! You in there?!" I called out.

All of a sudden it got real quiet.

"Don't even bother pretending you're not in there! I already heard you!"

"*sniffles* K-K-Keva? Is that you?" She said softly.

"Yeah. Now let me in!"

(Edd's p.o.v)

I'm so ashamed.
I thought I was the only one in here.

"Keva! You can't come into the same bathroom stall that I'm using." I said trying to come up with any excuse for why she can't come in.

I don't want her to see me like this!

"Who cares, just let me in! You're starting to freak me out!"

"N-no, I'm just fine Keva, thank you for you're concern. You may leave now."

"Either you let me in or I'm breaking in."

"............."?!

"Fine, I guess I'm breaking in."

Just the I saw her slide herself on her back under the door and into the stall.

"*gasp* Keva! This in an invasion to my privacy!"

"Well...you should've just let me in.."

She got up off of the floor and dusted herself off. The floors in this school were quite filthy.

(Keva's p.o.v)

Her eyes were red and puffy and she was sitting in the closed toilet hugging her knees.

It breaks my heart to see her like this.

"Edd what happened? What's wrong?" I said walking towards her.

"It's nothing." She said wiping her eyes. "I'm fine now. You don't have to worry about me."

"It's obviously not nothing if you're crying."

"Umm. I over heard some girls saying some mean stuff about me."

"Why did they say?! Who are they?! Want me to kick their asses? Because I will!"

She looked up at me confused, and then laughed. It made me smile when she laughed.

"What's so funny?!"

"It's just that you're so willing to stick up for me. I thought that you didn't like me?"

She's right, I do treat her pretty shitty. No wonder she avoids me, she thinks I hate her guts.

"I...I do like you.." I said awkwardly, scratching the back of my neck.

"I like you too Keva....maybe one day you and I can be friends."

The word friend sounded like nails on a chalkboard. When she said that word, it felt like that time Shaney drop kicked a soccer ball at my face!

"Um I was thinking that maybe we can be more than that." I said blushing.

Why did I say that?! And in a bathroom stall that smells like burnt ass!!

(Edd's p.o.v)

"Um I was thinking that maybe we can be more than that."

I noticed that her face was red. Probably from embarrassment.

Is she asking me to be her girlfriend?

Does she like me back?!?

No, I shouldn't get my hopes up. She probably just wants to be friends.

But she said more than friends.

I'm confused now.

"You mean.....like best friends?" I asked.

She seamed somewhat...disappointed?

(Keva's p.o.v)

Ok, that hurts even more.

Why must she be so innocent?

"Yeah sure. Like best friends...why not?" I said that last part under my breathe.

"Do you not want to be friends with me?"

"W-What?! No! I never said that! I still wanna be friends with you."

Her face lit up like this was the greatest thing that has ever happened to her. It was cute, but I wish she would've gotten my hints by now. Maybe I need to be more direct?

"Ok Keva!"
She said hugging me.

"I will see you at my place at six!" She looking up at me with that adorable little gap tooth smile on her face.

"Yeah, see you then."

I'm so sorry for not updating this as much as I show, but I've been very distracted lately. And I had a lot of other stuff to do. Also, I feel like nobody is even reading this, that, or they think it's a crappy story. Which it is. So there isn't much of a point for me update this on a regular basis.
