Sulking ° TomuDeku

Ship : TomuDeku

Scenario :

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

Izuku was sitting on Tomura's lap, her hands holding a white-coloured console while her emerald green eyes focused on the television screen. Her fingers fiddled with the many buttons on the console at rapid speed. An excited smile tugged on her lips since her avatar was on the brink of winning the duel against Tomura's avatar.

Just one more hit...!!!

"Player 1, K.O.! Player 2,win!"

The announcer in the game said the result of the intense battle. Izuku let out a cheer of victory out of joy, raising her arms high in the air. "Uwaa~ I win! For the first time!" She cupped her cheeks delightfully, faint pink shades tinted on her face.

Izuku was on cloud nine because she never won in video game whenever she was up against Tomura, her boyfriend. This League of Villains' leader was a hardcore gamer after all. No one in the league had defeated him in any game. Every single time they battled against their leader, he defeated them with ease.

Tomura didn't seem enthusiast by the result. He just silently put down his console, strong arms wrapped around his girlfriend's body. Noticing his odd behavior, Izuku turned to the male blunette.

"Tomura, what is wrong, sweetie?" She softly asked him, gazing deeply into his crimson irises. Tomura didn't reply to her with a single word. He just stared into her eyes, extreme guilt panging his heart. He picked her up bridal style and placed her down back on the floor.

The League leader walked over to his king-sized bed and flopped himself on it, ignoring his lover's presence in his bedroom. Izuku tilted her head, absolutely perplexed by his attitude.

What is wrong with him? He is never quiet like this...

Realizing that he didn't want to be disturbed, Izuku stood on her two feet and left the room, silently. She stole a last glance of the love of her life. He was laying in the bed while facing the wall, hiding his face with other pillow.

Okay, this is kinda disturbing. He is QUIET. And worse, he looks a little depressed now.

Shutting the door close, the female greenette descended the stairs leading to downstairs. Upon arriving, she sat on the bar stool. Heaving a deep sigh of defeat, Izuku asked Kurogiri to make a glass of apple juice for her.

Receiving the glass of apple juice, the daughter of the powerful villain mumbled a small 'thank you' before drinking the juice. Her train of thoughts began working at a rapid speed, trying to figure out the problem behind Tomura's odd behavior.

"What is wrong, Izzy~? You look depressed." Hikito suddenly interrupted Izuku's thoughts. She gagged, coughing violently. The young lady turned to her close friend.

"Well..."

Izuku wasn't sure if Hikito was the right person to discuss about Tomura's drastic change. After all, this high-schooler only knew to... Murder people. Quite childish too.

Seeing her upset expression, Hikito pulled out his knife from the pocket. A sinister smile creeped up on his slightly blushed face.

"Tell me which jerks I have to kill—"

"No, no! I'm fine Hiki-kun! Please put down that
knife..." Izuku immediately held his hand and took the knife from Hikito, sensing the tremendous dangerous aura from him. She placed down the knife on the counter.

"I can't help it~ You look so sad, Izzy..." Hikito pouted when Izuku confiscated his beloved weapon.

"I appreciate your help but I'm not upset... I'm just... Worried about Tomura."

Hearing out her true problem, all League's members felt shivers running down to their spines. They turned their attention to Jin who was sulking in the corner of the bar.

".... Guys?"

Izuku spoke up again, breaking the dead silence in the space. All villains tensed up, looking at each other in uncertainty. Kurogiri huffed a low sigh of exhaustion.

".... Shigaraki yelled at you just now?"

Izuku shook her head, denying the floating mist man's statement. She opened her mouth and replied,

"No, he was acting a little strange, that is all. But I'm still worried. I assume something happened to him earlier. That is why I came down.... I want to ask you guys."

Izuku intertwined her fingers, staring at the criminals one by one. Their horrified expressions and Jin's depressing state confirmed her theory.

"So something did happen while I was away earlier?"

Raising an eyebrow, Jin suddenly broke down into tears and clutched on Izuku. He looked at her while chibi tears rolled down his face.

"I'm sorry! I never meant to do that! Really!"

Crying out in guilt, Izuku gasped in surprise. Jin continued to wail there, breaking apart from Izuku and planted his face on the ground.

Question marks popped up around Izuku's head. She turned to Kurogiri, asking for explanation. The mistman took out something and showed it to Izuku.

A broken Nintendo Switch.

The explanation had not been told but Izuku already succeeded in connecting the dots. "... Jin-san... Did you accidentally break Tomura's Nintendo Switch?" She shifted her gaze to the crying man on the floor.

"I'm sorry— it was his fault! Not mine!"

Jin's personality began clashing here and there, too panicked and messed up that Izuku couldn't understand his words. She just shook her head.

"Twice accidentally sat on Shigaraki's Switch... It was laying on the counter so he didn't notice it. Until we heard the cracking sound. When he got up, it was already ripped into half." Kurogiri started explaining, inspecting the broken Switch.

"When Shigaraki saw his broken Switch, he didn't snap at Twice... He just left us in complete silence. That was really awkward and bothersome." Atsuhiro rubbed the back of neck as he recalled the scenario in his mind.

"And then Twice broke down." Dabi shrugged his shoulders, an amused expression plastered on his stapled face.

"I'M SORRY—Hell no!"

"Oh..." Izuku picked up the Nintendo Switch. It was the latest and limited edition brand. But those traits was not enough to enrage Tomura. Usually, whenever someone broke his belongings or ate his favourite food -- intentionally or unintentionally -- he would snap at them immediately. But this time, his reaction was different.

He used the silent anger treatment, whicy was very rare of him to do that.

Unless...

"This Nintendo Switch is the one I gave to him on our anniversary. Don't tell
me..."

Izuku paused there, turning to the villains in realization.

"No wonder Shiggy is this mad! Jin-kun, you destroyed his precious gift with your butt!" Hikito giggled gleefully when he also solved the puzzle.

The greenette smiled awkwardly at the teenage villain's statement. She stood up from the bar stool. "Anyway, now that I know the reason... I will try to find a way to cheer him up."

With that, Izuku exited the bar, leaving the villains wondering in curiosity..

•••••

Tomura gritted his teeth in frustration as he clamoed his face with a pillow. He felt very ashamed. He felt guilty. Worst, he felt worthless. Useless.

The gift— the irreplaceable gift Izuku gave to him on their anniversary — was destroyed in an instant. He promised, he promised to treasure it. Take care of it responsibly.

But he failed to fulfill his promise. He broke his oath to treasure it.

If he couldn't take care of the most precious treasure he received from Izuku, how can he take care of her?

Damn it, I feel so useless...

Knocking on the door snapped him back into reality. As usual, he didn't answer. Letting whoever was on the door to act as he wished. He wasn't in the mood to yell at anyone.

The sound of the door slowly crick opened didn't catch his attention. But the voice of visitor caused him to widen his red eyes.

"Tomura...."

His name was beautifully uttered by Izuku. This made him shuddered and he curled himself into a ball.

"Everyone told me everything. Sorry for not realizing much sooner..." Izuku walked into his room, closing the door behind her. Tomura seated up himself in his bed.

"There is nothing for you to say sorry for. It was all my fault... I didn't take good care of your present... Like I promised..."

Tomura hung his head low, feeling disgusted with himself. Izuku sat on the bed facing him.

"Seriously, no need to feel bad about it. It was an accident, sweetheart... So I hope you stop sulking."

Izuku caressed his cheek before Tomura shifted his gaze to her back. She suddenly showed a paper bag to him.

"I got something for you..."

Izuku pulled out something from the paper bag. How shocked Tomura was when he noticed it was the latest game he desperately wanted to own.

"Izuku... You..."

"You told me before, didn't you? That you wanted this video game so much... I thought giving you this as present... Will cheer you up so—"

Without hearing out her whole story, Tomura pushed her body in the bed and merged his lips with her soft ones. Izuku returned the kiss as she squeezed her eyes close.

"...thank you,Izuku..."

The ashen blue-haired man whispered into her ear. Her buried his face in her neck. Izuku softly chuckled as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"You are welcome, Tomura."
